In the fall of 1966, tensions run high on the U.S. Air Force base in Japan on the eve of the Vietnam War. After a series of suspicious suicides in a nearby town, an additional threat has infiltrated the military compound - vampires. A covert team of government agents committed to the elimination of vampires dispatch a mysterious young woman named Saya, who in the guise of a schoolgirl, must uncover the origin of the demonic plague, eliminate the ghastly beasts and stop their reign of terror before time runs out. She is the last remaining original.
Painstakingly animated by the masters of Japan's Production I.G. studios (Dead Leaves, Ghost in the Shell, Kai Doh Maru, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Kill Bill), Blood: The Last Vampire is the first fully digital work of animation ever produced. Conceived in cooperation with Mamoru Oshii (Director, Ghost in the Shell, Patlabor -- The Movie, Patlabor 2), and Directed by Hiroyuki Kitakubo (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Black Magic M-66), the film features character designs by charismatic illustrator Katsuya Terada (Mirai Ninja, Zeiram), dynamic digital sound mixed in Hollywood and the voice talents of Youki Kodoh (Snow Falling on Cedars) as Saya. The film opened in mid-November of 2000 at Cine Saison Shibuya and several other major cities throughout Japan. Blood also played a limited theatrical run in the U.S. and was one of the first-ever features to be streamed over the Internet the day of its release on DVD.

Rex Maganti was a regular teenage boy that loved vampires...as mythical, unreal creatures. But, little did he know that they weren't so mythical and two were roaming around his school watching him. On one day, these two vampires took him to a warehouse where Lillith Bloodgood trained all newbie vampires to become strong, fast, and intelligent. When Lillith Bloodgood, a vampire for over five hundred years, explained everything to Rex, he had no choice but to be turned. If he didn't turn into a vampire, Lillith would have to kill Rex because he knew way too much. Isaac and Cameron, the two boys that took Rex from school to this warehouse, recruited James L. Cruz, a boy from Rex's school. Lillith recruited these boys to help her fight the "devil vampires" that want nothing but chaos.

Die Tracht is a feature film shot in September 2009 almost entirely in absence of money. It is a Rock N Love project that many good people donated their blood, sweat and tears to, in order to create something truly independent. Merely virtually unavoidable costs, such as gasoline and food, had to be paid for. These funds were accumulated by the director through blood and sperm donations, an amount less than €2000. In the unlikely event that this movie will actually gain financial profit, the producers intend to use 50% to fund youth projects. Thank you for watching.

After a series of suspicious suicides in a nearby town, an additional threat has infiltrated the military compound - vampires. A covert team of government agents committed to the elimination of vampires dispatch a mysterious young woman named Saya, who in the guise of a schoolgirl, must uncover the origin of the demonic plague, eliminate the ghastly beasts and stop their reign of terror before time runs out. She is the last remaining original.
Painstakingly animated by the masters of Japan's Production I.G. studios (Dead Leaves, Ghost in the Shell, Kai Doh Maru, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Kill Bill), Blood: The Last Vampire is the first fully digital work of animation ever produced. In the year 2000, I was working as Editor in Chief of the internationally distributed magazine, Guerrilla Filmmaker, together with my good friend and Publisher, Mark Doyle. We reviewed countless films for the pages of our popular 'zine and we were both itching to do a short film together. He kept telling me that he could easily get his hands on some black and white, 16mm film stock and that we should consider doing a piece based on Gothic literature. I agreed and immediately told him that I had always wanted to do an adaptation of the J. Sheridan LeFanu short story, CARMILLA, to which he confessed that he had always wanted to do a piece inspired by Mary Shelley's FRANKENSTEIN. Facing the dilemma at hand, we decided to somehow create a trilogy of short films that would encompass a tribute to both tales, as well as a third puzzle piece, which we would base on a poem I wrote called SMEARED. Armed with good will, 16mm black and white stock, and the help and determination of our friends, we tailored a 15 page script that would actually comprise the three concepts as three separate stories that would flow into one another to tell one continuous tale. The finished product would go on to make appearances at several film festivals around the country, including the legendary Coney Island Film Festival, where it was greeted with the warmest of receptions. Recently, I rediscovered a bin with the original footage from our film (which had been tentatively titled THE GOTHIKON during production, but would eventually hit the screen with its rightful moniker, THE LONELY - which is also more in tune with its themes and subject matter). I thought it might be a good idea to revisit the old Goth playground and give the work another round of scissors. This trailer is a short glimpse of things to come.

A hot August night. M finds himself at the dead end of a dark and deserted street, where everything has decayed and time has stopped. Hurled into a nightmare world, where wolves prowl, hunger is everywhere, and nothing is quite what it seems, M does the only logical thing: he runs.
His flight through this land of blood and dust, flesh-eating seductresses and talking dogs forces him to confront his very existence, and as dawn approaches M realises…This is one nightmare he may never awake from.
This darkly funny and absurd play is by critically acclaimed German playwright, Marius von Mayenburg, whose previous work includes Fireface (Royal Court 2000, Young Vic 2012) “Force, flair and poetry” - The Independent. Merely virtually unavoidable costs, such as gasoline and food, had to be paid for. These funds were accumulated by the director through blood and sperm donations, an amount less than €2000.
In the unlikely event that this movie will actually gain financial profit, the producers intend to use 50% to fund youth projects.

After graduating, Kamp worked as a director for the Dutch TV show Waskracht! making short films as well as two documentaries Being a Dog in New York and Rafael, Pedro & Adel, shot in Cuba.
In 2005, Mischa directed the multiple award-winning family movies Winky's Horse and its 2007 follow-up Where Is Winky's Horseω
For the popular Dutch children's program Villa Achterwerk she made Naked -- an animated documentary series about the trials of being a teenager, produced by Submarine. Naked won awards at Annecy, Anifest, SICAF and Cinekid in 2007.

Mascha also created the popular animated TV series The Big Hummimummi Karaoke Show and 45 RPM . Alongside Mischa Kamp she made the documentary Being a dog in New York. For Submarine she is currently developing Picnic With Pie -- an animation series and interactive game for pre-schoolers.

Erzsébeth Báthory, conocida como la condesa sangrienta, fue un personaje histórico que se bañaba en sangre de vírgenes para mantener la juventud. Escritores como la poeta argentina Alejandra Pizarnik se inspiraron en ella para su obra. También la coreógrafa Ana María Stekelman creó una obra de danza basada en su figura, de la cual fue grabado un ensayo e intervenido con capas de video en esta pieza hecha por encargo para una muestra en conmemoración a la publicación de la obra de Alejandra Pizarnik.

Writers such as the poet Argentina Pizarnik were inspired by the Coutness for their work. Also the choreographer Ana María Stekelman created a dance piece based on her figure, a rehearsal of this piece was filmed and intervened with layers of video. Báthory was done to be showed in commemoration of the publication of Pizarnik’s writings.
