Paperman (stylized as paperman) is a 2012 black-and-white 3D romantic comedy short film. Produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and directed by John Kahrs, the short blends traditional animation and computer animation. A young accountant named George is standing on an elevated train platform in 1940s New York City, holding a folder, when he is hit by a flying piece of paper. The paper is chased by a young woman named Meg who lost it to a gust of wind from a passing train. The same thing happens to George when a subsequent gust of wind from another incoming train dislodges one of the papers from his folder and blows it into Meg's face, leaving a lipstick-smudged kiss imprinted on the paper, much to her amusement when George retrieves it. He is entranced by the lipstick mark and Meg's beauty, and therefore misses her boarding the departing train. The two exchange looks as she departs.

Walter Elias "Walt" Disney (/ˈdɪzni/; December 5, 1901 – December 15, 1966) was an American entrepreneur, cartoonist, animator, voice actor, and film producer. He was a prominent figure within the American animation industry and throughout the world, and is regarded as a cultural icon, known for his influence and contributions to entertainment during the 20th century. As a Hollywood business mogul, he and his brother Roy O. Disney co-founded The Walt Disney Company.
As an animator and entrepreneur, Disney was particularly noted as a filmmaker and a popular showman, as well as an innovator in animation and theme park design. He and his staff created numerous famous fictional characters including Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy. Disney himself was the original voice for Mickey. During his lifetime, he won 22 Academy Awards and received four honorary Academy Awards from a total of 59 nominations, including a record of four in one year, giving him more Oscar awards and nominations than any other individual in history. Disney also won seven Emmy Awards and gave his name to the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort theme parks in the U.S., as well as the international resorts Tokyo Disney Resort, Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Shanghai Disney Resort.
Animation is the process of making the illusion of motion and change by means of the rapid display of a sequence of static images that minimally differ from each other. The illusion—as in motion pictures in general—is thought to rely on the phi phenomenon. Animators are artists who specialize in the creation of animation.
Animation can be recorded with either analogue media, a flip book, motion picture film, video tape, digital media, including formats with animated GIF, Flash animation and digital video. To display animation, a digital camera, computer, or projector are used along with new technologies that are produced.
Animation creation methods include the traditional animation creation method and those involving stop motion animation of two and three-dimensional objects, paper cutouts, puppets and clay figures. Images are displayed in a rapid succession, usually 24, 25, 30, or 60 frames per second.
Early examples of attempts to capture the phenomenon of motion into a still drawing can be found in paleolithic cave paintings, where animals are often depicted with multiple legs in superimposed positions, clearly attempting to convey the perception of motion.

For a university project I had to compose music for a short film, at around 3 minutes in length. I ended up choosing one of my favourite short films, Paperman by Walt Disney Animation and directed by John Kahrs. I genuinely think it's one of the best short films I've ever seen and the soundtrack by Christophe Beck was just as amazing. Anyone who listens, thank you! If you like it, by all means you can share it too. Any comments are appreciated too. Here is a link to the audio that I uploaded to Soundcloud, also be sure to check out my other pieces of music on there too! https://soundcloud.com/edmitchels/paperman https://instagram.com/eddiemitchels/ https://www.facebook.com/eddie.mitchels https://twitter.com/EdwardMitchels I ended up really enjoying the process and so in my spare time d...

Animators and animation fans can see the future of 2D animation in this inside look of the 85th Academy Award Oscar winning short "Paperman", the animated short film that is now playing in front of "Wreck It Ralph". The behind-the-scenes featurette demonstrates some of the techniques used to combine 2D animation and 3D animation. The technique uses traditional hand drawn 2D animation by carrying the information with the 3D CG using a program dubbed "Meander" created by Eric Daniels. Greatest player at home like Kobe in staples man
He be tryna lock her down, she tryna escape the man
I pick that paper up in the mornin', she is like my paper stand
They say money shapes a man
Keep them squares out yo circle
And work ya money nigga just don't let ya money work you

Wit black 22's and chrome on the lip
Don't slip, don't trip 'cause the tips are hollow
In this chrome on my hip
I lean so mean, so clean
That there ain't a stain on these clothes
Hoes run throw some throw
Ones we makin' it rain on these hoes
I ride through slow, just hide ya hoe
Don't let yo hoe see Loso
I think I'm this, I think I'm that
Man I don't think I know so
I let them know, we let them go
So please don't play wit them boys
She wanna come, just let her come over
And play wit them boys
