In 1984, child welfare investigators wrote that Ed Murray (pictured left) had sexually abused his foster son Jeff Simpson (pictured right). The report (inset) was hidden by authorities for years but was unearthed on Sunday by The Seattle Times. Simpson, 49, is one of four men who have claimed since April his year that they were raped by Murray when they were teenagers. The men all say they were preyed on by the politician when they were drug-addicted teenagers.

Miranda Kerr's backyard wedding to Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel was tasteful and intimate - with just 45 friends and family watching as the couple exchanged their vows. But the pared back guest list didn't stop Miranda Kerr from creating the day of her dreams - with the Australian model opening up about her May nuptials in the new edition of U.S. Vogue. For her big day the bride wore a breathtakingly beautiful custom Dior Haute couture gown, painstakingly created for her by the brand's new artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri.

Garbine Muguruza (pictured left) led the Wimbledon women along the red carpet as the Champion's Dinner got underway in London on Sunday night. The women's singles champion looked elegant in a floor-length white dress as she attended the event alongside coach Conchita Martinez, the first Spaniard to win the title back in 1994. Meanwhile, men's singles champion Roger Federer, just hours after claiming his eighth Wimbledon title, arrived along with his wife Mirka, who donned a floral white dress (shown right).

While the Duchess of Cambridge took pride of place next to Prince William in the Centre Court Royal Box, her mother Carole and sister Pippa were sat away from Kate with the punters, alongside the latter's fiance, James. And Federer put on a masterclass against Croatian Marin Cilic, who broke down in tears while being crushed by the 35-year-old Swiss in straight sets, with the 6-3, 6-1, 6-4 result sealed in less than two hours. Federer's two sets of twins (inset) meanwhile threatened to steal the show while watching daddy do what he does best.

Legendary film and television actor, Martin Landau, died Saturday in California after a short hospitalization where he suffered unexpected complications. Landau was 89. Landau, who appeared in more than 200 films and TV shows, died at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles after an illustrious career in show business. He leaves behind his ex wife, actress Barbra Bain, 85, and their daughters, actress Juliet Rose Landau, and Susan Landau Finch. As a Swiss army knife of acting, Landau showcased his versatility from his roles in Mission: Impossible the TV series and as a broken-down Bela Lugosi in his Oscar-winning performance in Ed Wood in 1994. 

While Donald Trump and Donald Jr. are in the midst of the Russian crisis, Tiffany Trump and her mother Marla Maples have been sunning themselves aboard a luxury yacht off the Italian coast. Tiffany, the president's youngest daughter, was snapped enjoying a carefree vacation with Marla on Saturday. Both mother and daughter flaunted their enviable figures in bikinis aboard the 130ft charter yacht Mirage IV, which is moored off the coast of Capri, Italy. The pair have been on board all week and were also spotted living the high life on Monday afternoon as Tiffany seems determined to soak up every second of summer before returning to Georgetown University in just a matter of weeks.

President Donald Trump (left) arrived at the White House after dusk on Sunday to prepare for what he says will be a busy week during which 'much will be accomplished...on trade, the military, and security' (bottom left inset). Trump was seen deplaning Marine One and walking across the South Lawn of the White House while donning his signature red 'Make America Great Again' hat. The president spent his weekend in New Jersey, where he attended the US Women's Open at his Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster (top right). Trump was also joined at the event by his wife, First Lady Melania Trump (bottom right).

Ivanka Trump beat the heat Sunday with her son Joseph Kushner by celebrating National Ice Cream day and sharing the sweet snap on Instagram. President Donald Trump's eldest daughter and senior adviser, Ivanka Trump has been busy this weekend, but it seems son Joseph has been keeping up with his working mom just fine. 

Curt von Badinski is the co-founder of successful, wearable technology brand Motiv - based in San Francisco. The only problem is, his home, is 400 miles away in Burbank, Los Angeles. Rather than move to the expensive, foggy, San Fran area - away from his elderly parents - the 42-year-old does an epic 800 mile round trip on a daily basis. His morning routine comprises of a 5am wake up call, before he jumps in his small sports car for the 15-minute drive to Bob Hope Burbank airport. There he boards a plane for the 90-minute flight to Oakland, where he picks up his hybrid car, waiting at the airport, and arrives at the office by 8.30am. When it's clocking off time at 5pm, Badinski gets back in his car, for another 400 mile journey, which typically sees him return home by 9pm.

The last photo (pictured right) sent by the 14-year-old girl who was electrocuted while using her cell phone while in the bath has been released. Madison Coe (pictured), from Lovington, New Mexico, sent a text message to a friend along with a picture of her phone plugged into an extension cord just minutes before she died, police believe.  'When you use and (sic) extension cord so you can plug in your phone while you're in the bath,' the text read. Madison was at her father's house on July 9 when she was fatally electrocuted after touching a frayed extension cord she was using to charge her cell phone.

And Topshop heiress Chloe Green, 26, put on a defiant display as she partied with 'hot felon' Jeremy Meeks, 33, at RUSH HOUR club in Dortmund, Germany on Saturday. The pair appeared to ignore the criticism swirling around their relationship, as they openly kissed and downed champagne in front of club-goers, after his heartbroken wife Melissa publicly lamented their legal separation.

Indiana woman Sarah Cummins has donated her $30,000 wedding and full reception to her local homeless community, after her wedding was called off and she didn't want it to go to waste. Cummins, a 25-year-old Purdue University pharmacy student, said her ex-fiance, Logan Araujo, footed most of the bill for the wedding contract, with Cummins and her parents, along with one of Araujo's family friends, paying the rest. But after they called off the engagement, she decided not to throw away the plated dinner for 170 planned guests. Instead, she contacted homeless shelters in the area and invited them to attend the special party on Saturday.

She will be the Thirteenth Time Lord and take over from Peter Capaldi who leaves the global hit show at Christmas. New head writer and executive producer Chris Chibnall who takes over from Steven Moffat on the next series made the decision to cast the first ever woman in the iconic role.

Hank Madurkas Glass, a 13lb mini pig from New Orleans, with a big Instagram following has raised $4,000 for a food bank by participating in a rubber duck derby. The pig sponsored a team of rubber ducks in an event held by Second Harvest Food Bank. Each duck costs $5, and participants can donate additional money. Ultimately the event raised enough money to provide 12,000 meals.

The clip from China shows a very young girl learning to walk and receiving encouragement to make her way across the living room.However separating her from the person filming, presumably her father, is a black and white cat. As the girl steps across the floor she passes by the cat who had the time to wrap one if its paws around her tiny leg. When the girl puts her other leg forward she falls to the floor to the laughter of the person filming.

DiCaprio, an investor in the electric car race alternative to Formula 1, took a tour of the garages with actor friend Fisher Stevens on the eve of the Formula E New York City ePrix, and met with Formula E CEO Alejandro Agag to discuss the racing circuit. The next morning, on Saturday, Branson was seen cheering on his team, DS Virgin's driver Sam Bird, who shot to victory on his inaugural race after blazing through the qualifiers.

A captivating video of  birds flying in formation and sweeping a beach somewhere in the United Kingdom. The footage, taken by a British photographer Stuart Rutherford, shows the birds flitting gracefully through the sky, seeming to put on a show for anyone watching. In the 14-second clip a flock of knot birds glide through the air quickly and smoothly in a way that is reminiscent of the waves in the ocean.
