Terengganu (Malay pronunciation: [tərəŋganu]; Jawi:ترڠڬانو) formerly spelled Trengganu or Tringganu is a sultanate and constitutive state of federal Malaysia. The state is also known by its Arabic honorific, Darul Iman ("Abode of Faith"). The coastal city of Kuala Terengganu which stands at the mouth of the broad Terengganu River is both the state and royal capital as well as the largest city in Terengganu.
There are several theories on the origin of the name 'Terengganu'. One theory attributes the name's origin to terang ganu, Malay for 'bright rainbow'. Another story, said to have been originally narrated by the ninth Sultan of Terengganu, Baginda Omar, tells of a party of hunters from Pahang roving and hunting in the area of what is now southern Terengganu. One of the hunters spotted a big animal fang lying on the ground. A fellow party member asked to which animal did the fang belong. The hunter, not knowing which animal, simply answered taring anu (Malay: 'fang of something'). The party later returned to Pahang with a rich hoard of game, fur and sandalwood, which impressed their neighbours. They asked the hunters where did they source their riches, to which they replied, from the land of taring anu, which later evolved into Terengganu. Terengganu was called Trangkanu (Thai: ตรังกานู) by the Siamese when it was under their influence. Terengganuans usually pronounce Terengganu as Tranung or Ganu.
Negeri Sembilan (Malay pronunciation: [ˈnəgəri səmbiˈlan]), one of Malaysia's thirteen states, lies on the western coast of Peninsular Malaysia, just south of Kuala Lumpur and borders Selangor on the north, Pahang in the east, and Malacca and Johor to the south.
The name is believed to derive from the nine (sembilan) villages or nagari in the Minangkabau language (now known as luak) settled by the Minangkabau, a people originally from West Sumatra (in present-day Indonesia). Minangkabau features are still visible today in traditional architecture and the dialect of Malay spoken.
Unlike the hereditary monarchs of the other royal Malay states, the ruler of Negeri Sembilan is known as Yang di-Pertuan Besar instead of Sultan. The election of the Ruler is also unique. He is selected by the council of Undangs who lead the four biggest districts of Sungai Ujong, Jelebu, Johol, and Rembau, making it one of the more democratic monarchies.
The capital of Negeri Sembilan is Seremban. The royal capital is Seri Menanti in the district of Kuala Pilah. Other important towns are Port Dickson and Nilai.

In this travel video travel guide to Malaysia, I travel to Malaysia's capital city, Kuala Lumpur, and to Terangganu, the country's second-largest city. I start off my trip by exploring Kenyir Lake, located just west of Terangganu, which is actually the largest man-made lake in Southeast Asia (it's the size of Singapore). I head to the far end of the lake by speedboat to go trekking into the hilly jungle where I come across a school of hungry fish waiting for eager tourists like myself to provide them with a cheap snack. I then head back on the lake to explore the many islands that call this lake home. Next, I head back onto the water -- this time onto the ocean -- to do a little squid jigging as part of the first annual Terengganu International Squid Jigging Fest. Squid jigging, for thos...

We stayed one week at this amazing place. It was by far one of our favourite places. The resort was incredible! Almost no people! Amazing beach with warm transparent water. A lot of different animals (monkeys jumping around on the top of the trees, big lizards, baby sharks, etc.) I loved it and would return there in a heart beat! A short trip to Terengganu with the fam in 2014. Thanks to my uncle for bringing me here. Such a wonderful vacation I had.
We drove down south to Kuala Terengganu from Kota Bharu in Kelantan and stopped over to find beautiful spots in the East coast. Not only that they have beautiful landscapes, they also have amazing food! Will Abu be impressed with his meals, this time? Which one(s) would you try? __________________________________________________________ Follow us on Instagram: http://instagram.com/whatevertherewas/ Check out more stories on our website: http://whatevertherewas.com/ Music: Epidemic Sound - Tuned In 2 Epidemic Sound - Pink Glazed Pastries 2 Epidemic Sound - Superfiction 2 Epidemic Sound - A Time To Remember 1 Epidemic Sound - Smooth As Silk 3 - Anders Bothén Don't forget to subscribe to our channel for more video updates! point8cam / Nasri Lian IG: http://instagram.com/point8cam Han...
Kuala Terengganu (Jawi: كوالا ترڠڬانو; colloquially abbreviated as KT) is the largest city as well as the state and royal capital of Terengganu state, Malaysia. On 1 January 2008, Kuala Terengganu was awarded city status. The city has a population of 343,284 and is also the seat of a district of the same name. Kuala Terengganu is located about 500 kilometers northeast of Kuala Lumpur on a promontory surrounded on three sides by the South China Sea. The name means the "Terengganu Harbour", referring to the broad expanse of the Terengganu River estuary which empties into the ocean at this point. Kuala Terengganu is also the name of the parliamentary constituency in which the city is situated. The inhabitants of the city speak a distinct Terengganese dialect of Malay. she told me
that I was lame
with her middle finger in my face
wont waste her time with such a loser
so now I wallow in regret
wanna do something right but I haven't yet
why do my endeavors end up in failure
I think I'll go out drinkin'
drinkin' all night long
cuz if I go out drinkin'
then I can stop thinkin'
bout how the world done me wrong
I guess I shouldn't feel so bad
ain't got much reason to feel so sad
'cept that I'm poor untalented and ugly
I know its like they always say
good times and bad will come our way
but theres only one thing that'll make this easier
I think I'll go out drinkin'
drinkin' all night long
cuz if I go out drinkin'
then I can stop thinkin'
bout how the world done me wrong
so wrong
I sing this song and nobody sings along
I've got a friend
he's in my hand
he understands
he said to me everything wont be so bad!
I think I'll go out drinkin'
drinkin' all night long
cuz if I go out drinkin'
then I can stop thinkin'
bout how the world done me wrong
I think I'll go out drinkin' (think I'll go out drinkin')
drinkin' all night long (drinkin' all night long)
cuz if I go out drinkin'
then I can stop thinkin'
about how the worlds done me
