Manwa Laage

"Manwa Laage" (English: My heart feels this) is a romantic Hindi song from the 2014 Bollywood film, Happy New Year. Composed by Vishal–Shekhar, the song is sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Arijit Singh, with lyrics penned by Irshad Kamil. The music video of the soft and melodic track features renowned actors Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.

Development

On 26 November 2012, director Farah Khan confirmed through Twitter that the first song from Happy New Year had been recorded and it is rendered by Shreya Ghoshal and Arijit Singh. Till then, it was the first time that Singh lent his voice for Shah Rukh Khan, as the song was recorded prior to "Kashmir Main Tu Kanyakumari" (Chennai Express).

Release

The first look of the song was revealed through the officially twitter handle of the movie. The music video of the song was officially released on 9 September 2014, through the YouTube channel of T-Series. Along with leading actors Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, the video also featured the other cast− Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani, Vivaan Shah. The full song was later released on music-streaming platforms on 11 September 2014.

Subscription business model

The subscription business model is a business model where a customer must pay a subscription price to have access to the product/service. The model was pioneered by magazines and newspapers, but is now used by many businesses and websites.

Julian Lage

Julian Lage (born December 25, 1987) is an American jazz guitarist and composer.

In addition to leading his own group, Lage is a member of Gary Burton's New Quartet and Eric Harland's Voyager. He also has a duo project with Chris Eldridge.

Lage has played with such renowned artists as Jim Hall, Mark O'Connor, Ambrose Akinmusire, Dayna Stephens, Walter Smith III, Taylor Eigsti, Gary Burton, Eric Harland, Larry Grenadier, Fred Hersch, Béla Fleck, Antonio Sanchez, and Nels Cline, among others.

A child prodigy, Lage was the subject of the 1997 documentary Jules at Eight. At age 13 Lage performed at the 2000 Grammy Awards. He has been a faculty member at the Stanford Jazz Workshop at Stanford University since age 15. Classically trained at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Lage has studied at Sonoma State University, Ali Akbar College of Music, and graduated from the Berklee College of Music in 2008.

On March 24, 2009 Lage released his debut album Sounding Point on EmArcy Records, to favorable reviews. It was nominated for the 2010 Grammy Award Best Contemporary Jazz Album. Lage's second album, titled Gladwell was released April 26, 2011, to positive reviews.
