Grace Zabriskie (born Grace Caplinger; May 17, 1941) is an American actress. She has appeared in many popular American films, but she is best known for her work in television, including roles in the television series Twin Peaks, Seinfeld and Big Love.
Zabriskie was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, the daughter of Marion Grace (Zabriskie) and Roger Thomas "Tom" Caplinger. Her mother had distant Polish ancestry, and was a relative of James Zabriskie, a 19th-century railroad industrialist and early pioneer of California. Zabriskie has said that her family was visited by Tennessee Williams, Gore Vidal and Truman Capote during her childhood.
After making her major film debut in 1979's Norma Rae, Zabriskie went on to appear in dozens of other works, including the 1981 Roger Corman horror film Galaxy of Terror, and the 1981 miniseries adaptation of John Steinbeck's East of Eden. She played the nanny in 1980's The Private Eyes, Debra Winger's mother in An Officer and a Gentleman and Paul Le Mat's mother in 1984's The Burning Bed (starring Farrah Fawcett). She also appeared in 1989's Drugstore Cowboy and as the ill-fated orphanage owner Grace Poole in Child's Play 2. Other movies include the 1991 film adaptation Fried Green Tomatoes and Philip Ridley's 1995 film The Passion of Darkly Noon.
Twin Peaks is an American television serial drama created by Mark Frost and David Lynch. It follows an investigation headed by FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) into the murder of homecoming queen Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee) in the fictional town of Twin Peaks, Washington. Its pilot episode was broadcast on April 8, 1990, on ABC. Seven more episodes were produced, and the series was renewed for a second season that aired until June 10, 1991.
Twin Peaks explores the gulf between the veneer of small-town respectability and the seedier life beneath. As the series progresses, the inner darkness of characters who initially appeared innocent is revealed, and they are seen to lead double lives. Its unsettling tone and supernatural features are consistent with horror films, but its campy, melodramatic portrayal of quirky characters engaged in dubious activities parodies of American soap operas. Like much of Lynch's work, the show represents an earnest moral inquiry distinguished by both offbeat humor and surrealism.

In this video is the legendary scene of Laura Palmer's mother having a vision about Bob hiding behind Laura's bed. Such a haunting and annoying moment! I uploaded this vid because this very scene had not been available on YouTube - up until now. Enjoy watching! No copyright infringement intended.
I completely forgot that the “Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me” DVD had a documentary on it. I've only watched the blu-ray since it was released. Glad I'm able to get this up before Season 3 (errr umm, “The Return”), as I assume many haven't seen it. Contains commentary from Kyle MacLachlan, Sheryl Lee, Ray Wise, Grace Zabriskie, Mädchen Amick, Dana Ashbrook, Miguel Ferrer, Catherine Coulson, Michael Horse, Peggy Lipton, Everett McGill, Kimmy Robertson, Al Strobel, and Michael J. Anderson. Funny to see Michael J. Anderson talk about Twin Peaks with such enthusiasm, given his recent comments about Twin Peaks and David Lynch. Man, what a strange dude.
Produced in North Carolina, this 1978 thriller features Grace Zabriskie (Even Cowgirls Get the Blues, An Officer and a Gentleman, Norma Rae, Sienfeld, Twin Peaks), written and directed by Bill Dial, principal writer for the TV Series "WKRP in Cincinnati". It's the story of William Christopher, a history professor at a small university, who is kidnapped and carried to Argentina where he becomes the center of attention at the secret complex of an occult Nazi society. The original negative and all prints of the film have been lost and this video is the only remaining copy. Please contact the producer by email (eagle at digifonics.com) if you have any information on the location of an original film print or any related materials.

On Valentine's Day, Arthur attends a party at his senior center and meets a woman Mary (Jerry Stiller's real-life wife Anne Meara) and the two begin a love affair. Carrie is waiting for Doug at restaurant but Doug is stuck at Spence's birthday party, but when Spence arrives, he and his mother (Grace Zabriskie) get into a fight and Doug, Richie & Deacon are stuck at his home with Spence's mother; while waiting for Doug, Carrie meets a "schmuck" at the restaurant and transforms him to be more charming. This is the only episode in which Grace Zabriskie plays Spence's mother. For subsequent episodes of the series, she was replaced by Anne Meara, who also guest stars in this episode. Source: Wikipedia
From a story by Cornell Woolrich. In a story that might seem as at home on "The Twilight Zone" as it does in this neo-noir anthology, Miguel Ferrer plays an embattled mob boss hiding out from his enemies in a hotel room - but the most dangerous enemy of all may be his own mind. With Peter Berg, Peter Dobson, and Grace Zabriskie. This was the eighth episode of the second season of "Fallen Angels," directed by Keith Gordon ("The Singing Detective").

Short video by Madchen Amick shot at the Federal Bar in West Hollywood on 4/14/16 to celebrate the end of filming for #TwinPeaks2017. With Sheryl Lee, Dana Ashbrook, James Marshall, Grace Zabriskie etc.
The world premiere at the small Vista Theatre in Los Angeles was attended by over a dozen of very special guests: Angelo Badalamenti, Ray Wise, Sheryl Lee, Grace Zabriskie, Russ Tamblyn, Miguel Ferrer, James Marshall, Peggy Lipton, Mädchen Amick, Kimmy Robertson, Catherine E. Coulson, Caleb Deschanel, Mary Jo Deschanel, Bob Engels and David Lynch. The director then hurried into the theater to introduce the screening of the long-awaited deleted and extended scenes from Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me. Here’s a transcript of his completely fitting speech: "There is an abundance of fish in the sea. But tonight, I would like to speak about wood. There are many times in the world when the phone rings and someone is inquiring about wood. This happens primarily at lumber yards and in this case,...
