Saturday Morning may refer to:
Morning is the period of time between midnight and noon or, more commonly, the interval between sunrise and noon. Morning precedes afternoon, evening, and night in the sequence of a day. Originally, the term referred to sunrise.
The name (which comes from the Middle English word morwening) was formed from the analogy of evening using the word "morn" (in Middle English morwen), and originally meant the coming of the sunrise as evening meant the beginning of the close of the day. The Middle English morwen dropped over time and became morwe, then eventually morrow, which properly means "morning", but was soon used to refer to the following day (i.e., "tomorrow"), as in other Germanic languages—English is unique in restricting the word to the newer usage. The Spanish word "mañana" has two meanings in English: "morning," and "tomorrow," along with the word "morgen" in Dutch and German which also means both "morning," and "tomorrow." Max Weber, (General Economic History, pp23) states that the English word "morning" and the German word "Morgen" both signify the size of land strip "which an ox could plow in a day without giving out". "Tagwerk" in German, and "a day's work" in English mean the same. A Good morning in this sense might mean a good day's plow.

Rachael Yamagata (born September 23, 1977) is an American singer-songwriter and pianist from Arlington, Virginia. She began her musical career with the band Bumpus before becoming a solo artist and releasing four EP's and three studio albums. Her songs have appeared on numerous television shows and she has collaborated with Jason Mraz, Rhett Miller, Bright Eyes, Ryan Adams, Toots and the Maytals and Ray Lamontagne.
Yamagata graduated from the Holton-Arms School in Bethesda, Maryland and attended Northwestern University and Vassar College.
Yamagata became the vocalist for the Chicago group Bumpus and spent six years touring, writing and recording with the band before leaving in 2001 to begin a solo career. In September 2002, she obtained a two-record deal with Arista's Private Music and her self-titled EP produced by Malcolm Burn, Rachael Yamagata EP was released in October. Her first full-length album, Happenstance, followed in 2004. The album was produced by John Alagia at Compass Point Studios. Yamagata toured with Mandy Moore and contributed a song to Moore's 2007 album, Wild Hope.
A cappella [a kapˈpɛlla] (Italian for "in the manner of the chapel") music is specifically group or solo singing without instrumental accompaniment, or a piece intended to be performed in this way. It contrasts with cantata, which is accompanied singing. The term "a cappella" was originally intended to differentiate between Renaissance polyphony and Baroque concertato style. In the 19th century a renewed interest in Renaissance polyphony coupled with an ignorance of the fact that vocal parts were often doubled by instrumentalists led to the term coming to mean unaccompanied vocal music. The term is also used, albeit rarely, as a synonym for alla breve.
A cappella music was originally used in religious music, especially church music as well as anasheed and zemirot. Gregorian chant is an example of a cappella singing, as is the majority of secular vocal music from the Renaissance. The madrigal, up until its development in the early Baroque into an instrumentally-accompanied form, is also usually in a cappella form. Jewish and Christian music were originally a cappella, and this practice has continued in both of these religions as well as in Islam.

One of my faithful YouTube Subscribers requested an ABC Saturday Morning Block from 1989. I searched high and low until I found GOLD!!! Here is a two-hour block of ads from September 9, 1989 during an airing of "The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh", "Slimer and the Real Ghostbusters", "Beetlejuice", "The Bugs Bunny and Tweet Show" and finally back to Winnie the Pooh. (I don't know what happened there, but whatevs!) Enjoy the show, 80's friends! I'll be back next Saturday. I love you all!
Spend 22 minutes in the 70s with this short little melange I cobbled together.
Saturday morning cartoons existed for over half a century but eventually came to an end. Why is that? What killed them off? How many of you spent your childhood watching Saturday Morning cartoons on ABC during the greatest decade of all? Scooby Doo, Richie Rich, Super Friends and more. Well, here are a collection of those memorable PSAs that were included in the commercial breaks. Now for my disclaimer: The kid who recorded these way back when got really, REALLY trigger happy with the pause button. That fool cut off so much good stuff I want to punch him in his head some 30 years later. I edited some of them to clean up the video a bit but there are plenty of trigger-happy pauses. Right when you get happy to see one of your favorite commercials or TV intros/outros, the "pausing bandit" will come in and cut off your enjoyment. I apologize in advance. Enjoy this if you can. More next week. I have a new shipme...
2017 Regional Convention- Saturday Morning
It's Saturday morning and we got off late
Baby, I've been missing you in the strongest place
All other days of the week have come down to this
Just kiss me, we'll be okay
There's no one around here that I would miss
Mad, if you were away
It's a little, it's a little luck, it's a little so oh, oh, oh, what
It's a little, it's a little love, it's a little love for what we've got
It's another day to start making up
Oh baby, just look how lucky we got
Saturday morning and we got no other place to be
Baby, when you're lying in my arms we seem to fit so perfectly
Oh honey, honey, please just stay right next to me
Maybe we could do this other day of the week
It's a little, it's a little luck, it's a little so oh, oh, oh, what
It's a little, it's a little love, it's a little love for what we've got
It's another day to start making up
Oh baby, just look how lucky we got
And it's a little, it's a little luck, it's a little so oh, oh, oh, what
It's a little, it's a little love, it's a little love for what we've got
It's a little, it's a little luck, it's a little so oh, oh, oh, what
It's a little, it's a little love, it's a little love for what we have got
It's another day to start making up
Oh baby, just look how lucky we are
How lucky we are
