Emaar Properties is a real estate development company located in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is a public joint-stock company and is listed on the Dubai Financial Market as DFM: EMAAR. The company operates internationally providing property development and management services. With six business segments and 60 active companies, Emaar has a collective presence in 36 markets across the Middle East, North Africa, Pan-Asia, Europe and North America. Emaar Properties is one of the largest real estate developers in the UAE and is known for various large-scale projects such as developing Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world.
Emaar Properties was founded and incorporated in 1997 by chairman Mohamed Alabbar. As one of the leading developers in the UAE, Emaar has diversified interests in real estate including both commercial and residential property development, as well as malls and hospitality. The Dubai government initially owned 100 percent of the company while the founding shareholders held 24.3 percent when operations as a public company commenced after the IPO in July 1997. The following year, Emaar announced its plans to build Dubai Marina. In 2000, Emaar Properties was listed on the Dubai Financial Market and became the first property company to offer shares to foreign nationals. The first phase of the company's developmental projects began in 2001 when Emaar awarded the contract in a joint venture to build three of the six apartment towers.
Downtown Dubai, previously known as Downtown Burj Dubai, is a large-scale, mixed-use complex under development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is the home of some of the city's most important landmarks including Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, and Dubai Fountain. It covers an area of 2 square kilometres (0.77 sq mi), at an estimated cost of US$20 billion (Dh73 billion) upon completion.
The complex is situated along Sheikh Zayed Road, across from Al Wasl locality on the Northwest. It is bounded to the South by Business Bay and to the Northeast by Financial Centre Road, which separates it from Zabeel 2 and Trade Center 2. It is connected to the Dubai Metro via the Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall Metro Station. The First Interchange, which is in its last phases of construction, will guarantee the free flow of traffic to and from the area.
Development is divided into 11 projects. Burj Khalifa, Dubai Fountain, Dubai Mall, Burj Park Island, and The Address Downtown Dubai hotel are at the center of the complex. The Old Town and The Old Town Island are mostly low-rise residential buildings, in addition to three hotels and Souq Al Bahar. Emaar Boulevard, The Residences and South Ridge comprise high-rise residential towers. Emaar Square is a low-rise office complex.
Dubai (/duːˈbaɪ/ doo-BY; Arabic: دبي Dubayy, Gulf pronunciation: [dʊˈbɑj]) is the most populous city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is located on the southeast coast of the Persian Gulf and is one of the seven emirates that make up the country. Abu Dhabi and Dubai are the only two emirates to have veto power over critical matters of national importance in the country's legislature. The city of Dubai is located on the emirate's northern coastline and heads up the Dubai-Sharjah-Ajman metropolitan area. Dubai is to host World Expo 2020.
Dubai has emerged as a global city and business hub of the Middle East. It is also a major transport hub for passengers and cargo. By the 1960s Dubai's economy was based on revenues from trade and, to a smaller extent, oil exploration concessions, but oil was not discovered until 1966. Oil revenue first started to flow in 1969. Dubai's oil revenue helped accelerate the early development of the city, but its reserves are limited and production levels are low: today, less than 5% of the emirate's revenue comes from oil. The emirate's Western-style model of business drives its economy with the main revenues now coming from tourism, aviation, real estate, and financial services. Dubai has recently attracted world attention through many innovative large construction projects and sports events. The city has become iconic for its skyscrapers and high-rise buildings, in particular the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. Dubai has been criticised for human rights violations concerning the city's largely South Asian workforce. Dubai's property market experienced a major deterioration in 2008–09 following the financial crisis of 2007–08, but the emirate's economy has made a return to growth, with a projected 2015 budget surplus.
Dubai Creek is a saltwater creek located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). It ends at Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary. Some sources say that the creek extended as far inland as Al Ain, and that the Ancient Greeks called it River Zara. Historically, the creek divided the city into two main sections – Deira and Bur Dubai. It was along the Bur Dubai creek area that members of the Bani Yas tribe first settled in the 19th century, establishing the Al Maktoum dynasty in the city. In the early 20th century, the creek, though incapable then of supporting large scale transportation, served as a minor port for dhows coming as far away as India or East Africa. Although it impeded the entry of ships due to current flow, the creek remained an important element in establishing the commercial position of Dubai, being the only port or harbour in the city. Dubai's pearling industry, which formed the main sector of the city's economy, was based primarily on expeditions in the creek, prior to the invention of cultured pearls in the 1930s.

Firefighters brought a fire under control at a tower being built in Dubai's Downtown district, authorities said on Sunday (April 2), the latest in a spate of fires to hit tall buildings in the emirate. The blaze, which started in the early hours of Sunday morning and sent flames and black smoke into the air, engulfed Address Residences Fountain Views, a 60-storey tower being developed by Emaar Properties. Roads around the building, located in an area popular with shoppers and tourists, were closed as firefighters tackled the blaze. The Dubai Media Office Twitter account said later that the fire was under control, with cooling operations underway and no injuries reported. It is the second fire to hit an Emaar building after the developer's Address Downtown hotel was gutted by a blaze on ...

I feel so unsure
Trembling you open your door
Your eyes glistening
Silly me I'm already missing you
And this is all I have (All I have)
All I have to give
All I have to give
This one last kiss
I know it's not enough
Though our love will never end (no)
One more touch
Is all I have
All I have
You said that we'd forever be in love
And you showed me life like I never knew
Things I never even dreamed of
But your smile just don't seem the same
And when you tell me you feel it too
I'm not sure who's to blame
Cause I gave everything
And this is all I have (All I have)
All I have to give (To give)
All I have to give (To give you)
This one last kiss (This one last kiss)
I know it's not enough (oh, oh)
Though our love will never end (yeah, hey)
One more touch (whoa)
Is all I have
All I have
I can't believe
I can't believe (I can't believe)
This love is leaving me
Love is leaving me (no, no, no)
And I can't believe (I can't believe)
What we've come to be (what we've come to be baby)
What we've come to be (whoa)
And I wish I could make it like it used to be
Can't believe I'm through loving you
And Your through loving me, you
And in the middle of my final tears
You call out my name, my name
You cried out my name
But it could never be the same
Cause this is all I have
And this is all I have (oh)
All I have to give
All I have to give
This one last kiss (Your smile don't seem the same)
I know it's not enough (oh)
Though our love will never end (yeah, yeah, yeah)
One more touch (hey)
Is all I have
All I have (Why you lookin at me)
And this is all I have (Why you lookin at me)
All I have to give (I don't know)
All I have to give (I don't know who's to blame)
This one last kiss (In this situation baby)
I know it's not enough (oh)
Though our love will never end (oh no)
One more touch (no no)
Is all I have
