The Duchess of Cambridge, 35, looked perfectly summery in a white poppy print dress as she took her seat in the Royal Box on Centre Court to watch her family friend play in the men's singles final. Today is only Kate's second visit of 2017, after she arrived on the opening day to meet with staff and players before watching Andy Murray's opening match. ...read

Basket bags seem to be everywhere this season, and we admit it's a trend we just can't get enough of. In fact, our closets are full to the brim of woven wonders that we plan on carrying for every kind of occasion this summer. However, when it comes to picking favorites, look no further than this delectable design from Poolside. From its unique shape that is unlike any other option on the market, to the adorable embroidered slogan on the front, there's nothing we don't like about this amazing beachy tote. Plus, if you're not a fan of the 'vacay' vibes, Poolside offer you the opportunity to add your own custom message to the front ($250); ideal for anyone who has a statement to make this summer.
Slide onto the sand in style this summer with these superb sandals from Schutz ($125). Complete with a cheeky slogan, these silver and white leather slides are sure to have everyone on the beach falling over themselves to worship at your feet - or at least your shoes! Plus, there are plenty of other slogan options available, meaning you can snap up plenty of pairs to ensure you're equipped for any summer situation you might find yourself in...
Mix function with style this summer; snap up this cap ($17.95) from American Eagle and add some fun flair to your beach look, while also ensuring your head and face are protected from the UV rays. An added attraction? The opportunity to announce your beach babe status to the world without even needing to utter a word.
Speaking of stylish sun protection, we cannot get enough of these super cool sunglasses from Krewe ($295). From the chic tortoiseshell frames to the 24K gold-plated hardware, it's no wonder the likes of Ashley Graham, Kate Hudson and Adriana Lima can't get enough of these swanky shades. Embrace your inner A-lister and take the beach by storm this summer.
Long live the beach! Need we say more? After you've spent the day soaking up the sunshine in your favorite bathing suit, what better way to cover up than with a cute T-shirt proclaiming your love for all things beachy? Well thanks to this tee ($45) from Madewell's new collaboration with the Surfrider Foundation, you can layer up in style, while also making a fun summer statement.
Get your beautiful body ready for the beach - and for some summer sun - with this Babe Island Kit ($39.95) from Frank Body. Complete with a superbly-scented natural coffee and coconut scrub and an equally fabulously fragranced coconut body balm, it has everything you need to care for your skin this summer. Indulge in an exfoliating session prior to your first beach visit to make sure you get rid of any dryness and dead skin, and then keep yourself feeling smooth and supple - and prolong your suntan! - with the help of the body balm. Win win. Plus the coconut and coffee scent is perhaps one of the best things you will smell this summer season. Trust us.
Sunscreen has to be the number one priority for any beachgoers this summer, particularly when it comes to protecting your face against the sun's harmful rays. Well with this excellent new release from Glossier, ensuring that your complexion is completely protected again any harmful UV rays has never been easier. The Invisible Shield SPF 35 Daily Sunscreen ($34) is a clear watergel formula that instantly absorbs into the skin, without leaving any tacky residue or white coloring - meaning you won't have to worry about not having a mirror handy to check yourself for awkward spots you may have missed while applying.
If flip flops aren't your thing, and you fancy adding some more fashion-forward footwear to your beach ensemble, then look no further than these furry Ugg slides ($100). Made with 'silky Toscana fur and soft sheepskin lining', they will not only help to add some serious pizzazz to your look, they'll also ensure your feet feel nothing but the utmost comfort this summer season. Choose from a rainbow palette of shades - from neon pink to classic black - or be bold and snap up a pair in every color. That's certainly our plan...
Beach waves can be both beautiful, and utterly impossible to tame. There are some days when you can't imagine anything better for your locks than a bit of beach air, sea salt and sand to give you that ideal texture, however on those rare occasions when you end up with more of a birds nest than a bevvy of beachy waves, you can quickly sweep 'em up with the help of this stylish ice cream-print twilly from CJW ($85). The pretty printed silk accessory can serve as the perfect accompaniment to any up-do - or, if you end up having a perfect beach hair day, you can tie it around your beach bag to give it that little extra something!
Who doesn't love soaking up the sun and adding a bit of a bronzed glow to their complexion? Well after spending some time in the bright beaming rays - while ensuring you're slathered in SPF, of course - it's important to make sure that you take the time to treat your skin to some much-needed moisture and hydration. And when it comes to an after sun savior, our favorite is this C+C Vitamin Summer Lotion from Natura Bisse ($62) which is described as a 'vitamin cocktail with aloe vera', soothing ingredients that 'hydrate intensely' and 'soothe and repair the skin on the face and body'. Plus, Natura Bisse promises that it will also help to prolong your tan, meaning you will keep that bronzed glow for that much longer.
What better way to end the day by toasting the summer season - and a brilliant day at the beach - with a delicious cocktail? Our personal favorite is this wonderfully refreshing creation from Bai, which you can quickly whip up at home with just a few simple ingredients. Embrace the phrase 'rosé all day' by mixing 4oz of sparkling rosé with ¾ oz Bai Bubbles Gimbi Pink Grapefruit, ¼ oz Aperol and ¼ oz lemon juice, otherwise known as a recipe for refreshing perfection.
Calling all sale shoppers! At long last, it is finally time for Old Navy's infamous annual $1 flip flop sale. For one day and one day only - Saturday, June 24th to be precise - all single-color styles will be available in store for the bargain price of $1. So start sharpening your elbows and get ready to fight for your favorite pairs - which for us means this millennial pink offering that we just can't get enough of. Although at that price you could go the whole hog and get a different pair for every day of the week...
While spending a hot day at the beach soaking up the sunshine sounds like the perfect scenario, in reality the searing heat can be a little bit more uncomfortable (and, er sweaty). But before you take a flying leap into the ocean, or pour a bottle of water over your head - which can be messy, to say the least - why not pick up a bottle of Lumion Skin's superb Oxygen Mist + HOCL, our number one go-to product when it comes to beach-based skincare. As well as offering a boost of hydration in a cooling mist form (aaaaah), it also soothes skin, as well as helping to fight the effects of sunburn. The mist contains Hypochlorous acid, an infection fighting compound found naturally in the human body. Hypochlorous acid has been known to reverse markers of epidermal aging, protect against environmental aggressors, fight bacteria and cleanse the skin, making it the perfect product to slip into your bag for a day at the beach.
Thanks to the recent release of the Baywatch movie, red swimsuits have quickly become the must-have beachwear of the season this year. And while there are plenty of bright and bold one-piece options to pick from, we personally can't get enough of this fabulously flattering number from Guess ($79). Created in collaboration with A Bikini A Day, the open-back style is a must-have classic for any beach-goers this summer - particularly when paired with the brand's cool Cassidy Crochet Dress ($109).
We've got your face covered in the sunscreen department, now it's time for the body. Say hello to your beachy best friend, the Clinique Sun SPF 50 Body Cream, available at QVC ($21). While helping to provide you with some serious protection against harmful UV rays, this sunscreen will also help to keep your skin hydrated, while triggering a repair that helps prevent signs of aging. So start slathering it on, and get ready for some fun in the sun.
Basket bags not for you? That's all good, because there is another oh-so stylish beach bag option available to you in the form of this nautical backpack from Everlane ($40). Big enough to fit a Macbook - should you want to sunbathe, Netflix, and chill - the Beach Canvas Backpack can also carry a host of other beach essentials, from your towel to your sunscreen to your sunglasses. Everything you need for a sun-soaked summer day.
Perfume might not be your number one priority at the beach - why bother bringing a big bottle that might get filled with sand/broken/lost etc. But when it comes to Urban Decay's newly-released Go Naked Perfume Oil ($24), we think you'll reconsider. Because far from being your average perfume, this purse-friendly pocket-sized product is actually like carrying the scent of the beach in a bottle, and was created especially to conjure up those sun-soaked seaside vibes every time you smell it. Dab a little here, a little there, and prolong that beachy fun long after you've made your way home for the day.

Make sure you bring your sense of humour! The creative ways bars and restaurants draw customers in (and they include some hilarious signs and VERY quirky decoration)
Photos show off the hilarious signs and quirky decorations that leave a big impression on customers when they visit, including a warning not to tap on the glass because it might scare the bagels (bottom right). Others include (clockwise from top left): a passive-aggressive note not to smoke on a bar's balcony; a hilarious sign joking that Americans need to be accompanied by adults; a bar in Barcelona which has slyly placed a photo of Donald Trump over a mouth-shaped urinal; an enticing offer from a bar that turns out not to be a deal at all; and a restaurant which turned an act of vandalism into a shrine dedicated to the vandal's 'tiny penis'.
WHERE TO EAT THIS WEEK

The sun was beaming down and the temperatures were high as my friend and I sat outside at The Salt Room, overlooking Brighton's long pebbly beach. What a perfect location for some of the best seafood in the country. I started with the Rock Pool, a collection of mussels, crab meat, langoustines and even an oyster in a refreshing cold clear soup that let the flavours of the seafood shine. It tasted like the ocean. We then tucked into half a lobster - meaty, buttery, delicious - and a delicate piece of hake. After such sophistication, the fun and silliness of the Taste of the Pier dessert was welcome and there is more than enough for two here: a cherry '99, jam doughnuts, raspberry and white chocolate fudge, a gooey marshmallow, chocolate pebbles and a large stick of candyfloss. The perfect end to a meal that really epitomises Brighton in all its glory.

Treat your loved one to one of the best afternoon teas in London at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel. My friend and I felt like royalty as we sat down in front of the gorgeous view of the harbour itself while a pianist played live music in the relaxing restaurant. My vegetarian friend was brought her own plate of off-menu sandwiches with no fuss, allowing us both to enjoy the well-seasoned fillings. The scones were warm and exactly as they should be, served with plenty of clotted cream and jam - and two each. The final tier, the cakes, was also generous with four each and a jelly - and I confess I was struggling by the end. Among the cakes included in the Wimbledon-themed tea by Whittard and served with Whittard drinks, was a fresh strawberry tart, a delightfully tangy Pimm's jelly and a mellow lime mousse. Two hours spent blissfully as we watched the world go by. It would make a perfect present. £22 pp, £30 with a bellini.

Hot, sunny days in London are rarer than perhaps many would like - and when they come, you can be sure millions will be flocking outdoors. Camino - the chain of Spanish tapas restaurants - has cottoned on to this and has opened up a special bar in partnership with Fever Tree serving refreshing Spanish cocktails that opens every evening at its Camino Bankside branch near the Tate Modern on the Southbank. They've called these drinks Spanish Serves, and they truly are a taste of the Mediterranean. Our favourite is its 5th Gin Fire - a bright pink gin infused with red fruits that is served with tonic and strawberry. It's peppery, sweet, and utterly delicious. We line our stomachs with some of Camino's famous tapas, including the crispy Calamari and the salty Padron peppers. But the star dish is the Presa Iberica - pieces of melt-in-the-mouth shoulder of Ibérico pig. A perfect spot for people-watching in the summer or a post exhibition drink.

Dine like a royal in the sublime settings of Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire. This grand abode - the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill and now home to the Duke of Marlborough - boasts stunning gardens and gaping vistas. Keep your eyes peeled for events happening throughout the year. Most recently top caterer Searcys hosted a divine dinner in the palace's orangery and luxury perfumer Penhaligon's is set to run a mouth-watering afternoon tea over summer. A swift train and taxi ride from London makes this a doable trip to do in a day.

It was a rainy night on the Southbank when we ventured to pop up king Jimmy Garcias latest pop up, but with food this good its impossible for the not-so-great British summertime to put a dampener on things. Diners cook the six-course tasting menu themselves on table-top BBQs, but its nowhere near as labour intensive as it sounds. If you fancy channelling your inner chef then youre welcome to get busy with the timer and tongs, but the friendly staff will watch your lamb chops if youre too busy catching up to keep an eye on the grill. This is all about simple flavours with high quality ingredients such as hand-dived Dorset scallop with cauliflower, hazelnut and pickled red onion. The chicken thigh and chorizo kebab was worth going for alone, but be sure to leave room for two indulgent desserts in the form of pannacotta with BBQ pineapple and smores. Go very, very hungry and you wont leave disappointed.

If you want to experience Italian food at its finest, then don't hesitate to book a table at Avista. Located at the Millennium Hotel Mayfair, it offers a seven-course tasting menu that is a homage to both seasonality and the country that has inspired the talented chef here. Every plate is worthy of an Instagram post in its own right. But the dishes don't just captivate the eye - they delight the tastebuds (and rightly so). Stone bass tartare is a fresh taste of the sea, while the glazed quail with goat's cheese is rich and moreish. Saffron and coffee tagliatelle sounds bizarre but is light and oh-so-Italian. But my favourite course was the smoked pigeon with celeriac and plum - earthy, meaty, and lick-the-plate good. Desserts were also a triumph - the deconstructed take on tiramisu in particular. This is Michelin star-quality food. It doesn't come cheap at £75 (£55 for vegetarians) - but for a special occasion, it's worth the blow-out.

If you are looking for a typical curry then Vineet Bhatia London is not for you. However, if you are after an extraordinary adventure into Indian cuisine then I suggest you book immediately. Set in the heart of Chelsea this intimate restaurant offers an 11 course aptly named Experience Menu. From the moment you arrive you feel as though this is no ordinary A La Carte dinner from having to ring a doorbell to enter to being treated to a personal sommelier, eating at VBL is certainly out of the ordinary. And the food, my gosh! This restaurant has every right to crow about their dishes and slap a hefty price tag on top. Look out for the Raan Uttapam and the Glazed Pork Chop as you make your way through a meal that will have you binning every takeaway menu as soon as you get home and you might need a taxi to do so, youll find youll be scraping your plates.

With miniature plastic bento boxes littering the shelves of every supermarket, food hall and coffee chain it is easy to become jaded by not-so-authentic California rolls and lacklustre sashimi. And while good Japanese can be had at Yo Sushi for a truly excellent Omakase experience head straight to Kikuchi. So focused on quality is this restaurant that my first attempt to visit was foiled when the chef closed for the day after receiving a less than perfect fish delivery. While this may seem extreme the proof is in the pudding or in this case the nigiri. Chef Masayuki Kikuchi delivers on the very freshest, melt in the mouth sashimi I have had since my return from Tokyo and not only is the food beautifully flavoured and presented it is among the rarest of haute cuisine plentiful. The charming staff must also be commended on their expertise and friendliness right down to the arigatou gozaimasu as you leave the door.

Being spoiled for choice often has bad connotations when it comes to fine dining with overloaded pub menu always regarded as a big no-no. However, Picture in Marylebone really know how to spoil a gal. Their six course menu changes from season to season but yet the premise remains the same food you will want to wolf down in small enough portions to leave you wanting more. Not to be sniffed at is the A La Carte menu where diners are recommended to choose three dishes not forgetting of course to start with the mouth-watering beef bites. What Picture can truly be applauded for is its positively charming members of staff whose welcome will be hard to compete with in the borough of Westminster. Visit this restaurant and you will notice table upon table of returning diners eat at this restaurant and you will discover why.

Indian food hasn't quite managed to corner the lunch market yet, but Talli Joe believe they've cracked it with their new dabba menu - a three tier lunch box of home prepared, authentic cuisine. Each box comes with a half plate of a meat, fish or vegetarian dish, a side and a carb for a balanced meal. The Mangalore fish curry was rich and bursting with flavour, without being too heavy for lunchtime and the sides of south Indian pickle and coconut rice were the perfect complement. If youre feeling especially hungry, go for the laal maas, or lamb curry that comes with a flaky, deep fried pastry stuffed with peas and it will definitely keep you going until dinner. Served in pretty, colourful lunch boxes a lunchtime trip to Talli Joe, where the dabba menu changes daily, is certainly a lot more appealing than a tired sandwich!

I've never been to the Duck and Waffle 'Proper' on the 40th floor of the Heron Tower. So when its fast casual cousin, Duck and Waffle Local, opened in Piccadilly earlier this month, I saw it as a more accessible way to try the food. It's a fast food style approach (meaning you can't book). The menu is at the till and you have to choose then and there. But it works - we were in and out in under an hour. The eponymous duck and waffle (we had to try it) for £12 is a bizarre combination, particularly with the fried egg and mustard seed-peppered sweet maple syrup. But that strangely works too. In fact, it's lip-smackingly delicious. Sides are good also. The £6 pickled and baked beetroot is a celebration of the vegetable, and I reccommend the sticky duck necks (only £4). With prices much lower than the flagship branch and service speedy, the D&W; Local is a great way to see what all the fuss is about.

If you're new to the world of fine dining, then Michelin-starred Kitchen W8 in Kensington is a good place to dip your toe. As soon as you walk in the door, you know you've entered somewhere special and my friend and I were at first conscious we hadn't dressed up for the occasion. But the staff couldn't be more welcoming and soon we felt as comfortable as if we were in a gastopub. The food itself is some of the prettiest I have ever seen. Scallop ceviche was dotted with delicious blobs (for want of a better word) of fennel and apple. My main, the chicken, was poached to perfection and ever so tender. But it was my friend's mouthwatering lamb that made both of us want to lick the plate clean. With a fresh-tasting, seasonal menu at surprisingly affordable prices, Kitchen W8 focuses on subtlety and cleverness than punchy and bold flavours. An excellent introduction to the world of posh grub.

Start your day on a high with the wellness breakfast at St. Jamess Hotel & Club. The tucked-away Mayfair gem has a detox menu which is perfect as bikini season approaches. It includes a smoothie that was specially designed for Dita von Teese when she visited the luxury haunt. It was a little like sipping grass clippings at first, but the coriander concoction gradually got more drinkable as I persevered. Other treats include cottage cheese pancakes with smoked salmon and quinoa crumpets with baked banana. Even better, is indulging in the summery spread while lying in bed. The full wellness breakfast - three dishes and a green smoothie - is priced at £27 per person.

Covent Garden's Vico is the perfect place for a bustling group dinner or a date night with a difference. The Michelin Bib Gourmand awarded to the lively restaurant last year is a well-deserved accolade, and the reasonably priced wine list is a welcome bonus. Menu must-tries include the pancetta-wrapped chicken liver, Burrata salad and prosciutto pizza with a deliciously light and crispy base. A treat from the authentic gelato bar on-site is the perfect way to round off your meal or - if you're feeling adventurous - opt for a cocktail from their eclectic list. But be warned, they're not for the faint of heart!

She attaches each object to a jade egg, which she inserts into her vagina and holds in place using her pelvic muscles. Ms Anami tarted practicing what she calls 'Vaginal Kung Fu' 20 years ago and now demonstrates the practice on Instragram.
