This CCI (Custom Coasters International ) wooden coaster was built in 1997 and was the third coaster built by the company in the park over a three year span. It was the tallest and fastest coaster in the park for eight years until Hades opened in 2005.

Woke up about 7:15 by the lack of water and an intense need to urinate. Woke up kalí (our dog) and went out for a coffee. We had breakfast at the refuge of Spilios Agapitos and after then we took the path to reach Skala, one of the tops of Mount Olympus.
Followed the E4 path up to Skala, a path of climbing in medium to hard level for 2 hours. Tooks us a bit longer with all the hikkers hat was passing by and the dog greeting them.
As we reached Skala I went directly to climb Mitikas, the tallest peak of Mount Olympus. Headig down from Skala proved a bit trickier than inthough as I lost my path. Nevertheless I though I had found my way to climb Mitikas. So wrong was I.
I started to flow some yellow dots with blue inside until the started to become yellow with green. I imagined, and there I was wrong, that the sun and weather conditions had turn the blue go green. That mistake lead me to climb Stefnia, another peak, a bit lower but much steaper, dangerous and deadlier. I went up without any knowledge of this, still believing I would reach Mitikas.
After about 300m+ climbing on steep rock, was that I started to realize that Mitikas was only on my left. Nevertheless I went up to explore. Later would I know that this was extremely dangerous and I needed equipment. The view was gorgeous and I could get some nice shots of the back of Mitikas. Just to explain it was the time of my life when I say; "Things for serious, turn off the action cam and focus". I knew the risk then. I went higher to the last peek of Stefani.
Stefani is at 2909m and is called the Throne of Zeus. Well the name justifies it.
Going back was not easy as well but me being 62kg and well trained made that easier and much quicker than going up.
After i was down, I started seeing the blue dots again. Then I realized that they led to Mitikas. Yes. I was totally now thinking going up to Mitikas. And there I was after 30 mins or less.
At the top of Mount Olympus. 2919m higher than the see level you could see the whole Greece if you had great eyes. The view was breathtaking.
Signed tge guestboook and went off because I had not time as I was 40 mins late and we had to go down as well with final destination Plaka olimpios Zeus camping.
After that I went down the short path to the refuge, only to remember that I had forgotten my "Glitsa" (the wooded stick used for sheep's by shepherds) at the top of Skala.

Mount Olympus
Mount Olympus (/oʊˈlɪmpəs, ə-/;Greek: Όλυμπος; also transliterated as Olympos, and on Greek maps, Oros Olympos) is the highest mountain in Greece and the second highest mountain in the Balkans. It is located in the Olympus Range on the border between Thessaly and Macedonia, between the regional units of Pieria and Larissa, about 80 km (50 mi) southwest from Thessaloniki. Mount Olympus has 52 peaks, deep gorges, and exceptional biodiversity. The highest peak Mytikas, meaning "nose", rises to 2,918 metres (9,573 ft). It is one of the highest peaks in Europe in terms of topographic prominence.
Olympus was notable in Greek Mythology as the home of the Twelve Olympians, on the Mytikas peak. Mount Olympus is also noted for its very rich flora with several species. It has been the first National Park of Greece, since 1938, and a World's Biosphere Reserve.
Every year thousands of people visit Olympus to admire its nature, to tour its slopes, and reach its peaks. Organized mountain refuges and various mountaineering and climbing routes are available to visitors, who want to explore its nature. The usual starting point for it is the town of Litochoro, on the eastern foothills of the mountain, 100 km from Thessaloniki, where, in the beginning of every summer, the Olympus Marathon terminates.

Amusement park

Water park
A water park or waterpark is an amusement park that features water play areas, such as water slides, splash pads, spraygrounds (water playgrounds), lazy rivers, or other recreational bathing, swimming, and barefooting environments. Water parks in more current states of development may also be equipped with some type of artificial surfing or bodyboarding environment such as a wave pool or FlowRider.
History
Water parks have grown in popularity since their introduction in the late 1940s and early 1950s. The United States has the largest and most concentrated water park market, with over a thousand water parks and dozens of new parks opening each year. Major organizations are IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) and WWA (World Waterpark Association), which is the industry trade association.
Water parks which emerge from spas tend to more closely resemble mountain resorts, as they become year-round destinations. For example, Splash Universe Water Park Resort, a member of the WWA, is themed to match the community in which it is located. The theme is intended to enhance the community's destination appeal. Therefore, the amusement and leisure-time industry is becoming more concentrated, as winter sports are becoming common themes in summertime water recreation.

Woke up about 7:15 by the lack of water and an intense need to urinate. Woke up kalí (our dog) and went out for a coffee. We had breakfast at the refuge of Spilios Agapitos and after then we took the path to reach Skala, one of the tops of Mount Olympus.
Followed the E4 path up to Skala, a path of climbing in medium to hard level for 2 hours. Tooks us a bit longer with all the hikkers hat was passing by and the dog greeting them.
As we reached Skala I went directly to climb Mitikas, the tallest peak of Mount Olympus. Headig down from Skala proved a bit trickier than inthough as I lost my path. Nevertheless I though I had found my way to climb Mitikas. So wrong was I.
I started to flow some yellow dots with blue inside until the started to become yellow with green. I imagined, and there I was wrong, that the sun and weather conditions had turn the blue go green. That mistake lead me to climb Stefnia, another peak, a bit lower but much steaper, dangerous and deadlier. I went up without any knowledge of this, still believing I would reach Mitikas.
After about 300m+ climbing on steep rock, was that I started to realize that Mitikas was only on my left. Nevertheless I went up to explore. Later would I know that this was extremely dangerous and I needed equipment. The view was gorgeous and I could get some nice shots of the back of Mitikas. Just to explain it was the time of my life when I say; "Things for serious, turn off the action cam and focus". I knew the risk then. I went higher to the last peek of Stefani.
Stefani is at 2909m and is called the Throne of Zeus. Well the name justifies it.
Going back was not easy as well but me being 62kg and well trained made that easier and much quicker than going up.
After i was down, I started seeing the blue dots again. Then I realized that they led to Mitikas. Yes. I was totally now thinking going up to Mitikas. And there I was after 30 mins or less.
At the top of Mount Olympus. 2919m higher than the see level you could see the whole Greece if you had great eyes. The view was breathtaking.
Signed tge guestboook and went off because I had not time as I was 40 mins late and we had to go down as well with final destination Plaka olimpios Zeus camping.
After that I went down the short path to the refuge, only to remember that I had forgotten my "Glitsa" (the wooded stick used for sheep's by shepherds) at the top of Skala.

Greece. Mount Olympus, Meteora and Pindus Mountains in four days.
We had a 4 days trip into Greece to see Mount Olympus, Meteora and Pindus Mountains. The first day we've spent it traveling from Bucharest Romania to Katerini Greece passing through Bulgaria. In the second and third we've fulfilled our goals and in the fourth we've came back home. It was something different this time because we had a different perspective of Greece than the sandy beaches, blue waters and infinite coast lines, very much enjoyable as well.

Regardless of where we travel in the country, we can meet a mythological story anywhere. No wonder we're in the cradle of mythology. The famous Mount Olympus is known from mythology as the permanent residence of the 12 main deities. An important characteristic of Greek mythology is that it is very personal. People weren't afraid of their gods creating instead a humanlike world in their midst in order to alleviate the fear of the unknown. Some written recollections of Greek mythology have remained for us, written by Homer, Hesiod, Pindar, Aeschylus, Euripides, Sophocles, Aristophanes, Herodotus, Plato, Pausanias, and from the Roman era, Virgil and Ovid.
Olympus has 52 peaks with highlands, caves, ponds, springs and a lot of plants if which 23 are so rare, that they can only be found only there. Its highest peak is Mitikas at 2917m rising over the clouds. Spring and autumn often bring fog to the mountainside and in summer, it's soaked by thunder storms. Some spots are covered with snow even in summer. The mountain is a protected natural park where hunting, skiing and camping are forbidden. Only climbing is allowed. Tours start in Litochoro at the foot of the mountain from where a tourist route leads up to 2000m with some shelters on the way. The peak is still three hours away from here recommended only to experienced climbers. We can enjoy an amazing view looking down from the mountain even if we pass up climbing to the peak. We can rest our eyes on well maintained inhabited settlements and the beautiful azure blue water of the Aegean Sea.
Leaving Olympus behind and continuing southward towards the sea, we catch sight of the medieval castle Platamonas on the hillside densely overgrown with oak trees. The castle is characterized by Byzantine and Franconian architecture. Its walls are polygonal with square towers and bastion walls with tiny stones. Its entrances and inner courtyard are protected by several bastions. The name of the castle is -- or Castle of the Beautiful Maiden because according to legend, the beautiful lady who lived here was kidnapped by the Turks.

People weren't afraid of their gods creating instead a humanlike world in their midst in order to alleviate the fear of the unknown. Some written recollections of Greek mythology have remained for us, written by Homer, Hesiod, Pindar, Aeschylus, Euripides, Sophocles, Aristophanes, Herodotus, Plato, Pausanias, and from the Roman era, Virgil and Ovid.
Olympus has 52 peaks with highlands, caves, ponds, springs and a lot of plants if which 23 are so rare, that they can only be found only there. Its highest peak is Mitikas at 2917m rising over the clouds. Spring and autumn often bring fog to the mountainside and in summer, it's soaked by thunder storms. Some spots are covered with snow even in summer. The mountain is a protected natural park where hunting, skiing and camping are forbidden. Only climbing is allowed. Tours start in Litochoro at the foot of the mountain from where a tourist route leads up to 2000m with some shelters on the way. The peak is still three hours away from here recommended only to experienced climbers. We can enjoy an amazing view looking down from the mountain even if we pass up climbing to the peak. We can rest our eyes on well maintained inhabited settlements and the beautiful azure blue water of the Aegean Sea.
Leaving Olympus behind and continuing southward towards the sea, we catch sight of the medieval castle Platamonas on the hillside densely overgrown with oak trees. The castle is characterized by Byzantine and Franconian architecture. Its walls are polygonal with square towers and bastion walls with tiny stones. Its entrances and inner courtyard are protected by several bastions. The name of the castle is -- or Castle of the Beautiful Maiden because according to legend, the beautiful lady who lived here was kidnapped by the Turks.

Well, good afternoon from sunny Athens. We are currently exploring the Greek capital. We recently actually spent a few days traveling around Meteora and now we're finishing up our trip here in Athens. We've got two full days to explore the city which isn't a lot of time but we're going to try to do our best.
Our first stop was one of the most recognized sights in Athens - the Parthenon, which was dedicated to the goddess Athena who was seen as the patron of Athens.
After sunset we lingered atop Mount Lycabettus for some night views of the city before taking the funicular down to the bottom. Seeing the Acropolis all lit up at night was a pretty cool sight!
Next up we visited the Temple of Zeus which once housed the statue of Zeus, and was considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
When it comes to shopping, there are a few different options. We made our way to Monastiraki, which is one of the principal shopping districts in Athens. Here we visited both the Flea Market and the antique shops in the area.
The Agora was the central spot in ancient Greek city-states, and it is where people gathered.
So we are wrapping up our time here in Athens. Any surprises or final thoughts to share? Yeah, something that really surprised me were just the amount of stray animals that I saw on the streets.
I also thought there was really good dining options as well. We had a number of really good Greek meals and also some really good International food too.
Final thoughts, I think this is a really underrated capital in Europe. A lot like Warsaw in Poland so if you have an opportunity to visit Athens in Greece definitely do so.
So what did you think of Athens? Well, I thought it was a really cool city and I actually had a great time here. It kind of reminded me a little bit of Tel Aviv with the Mediterranean feel but also Berlin because it is very artsy and gritty. So it's a really cool place to check out. Great food, lots of attractions. You have a mix of antiquity with urban.

We had a 4 days trip into Greece to see Mount Olympus, Meteora and Pindus Mountains. The first day we've spent it traveling from Bucharest Romania to Katerini Greece passing through Bulgaria. In the second and third we've fulfilled our goals and in the fourth we've came back home. It was something different this time because we had a different perspective of Greece than the sandy beaches, blue waters and infinite coast lines, very much enjoyable as well.

Bali is what it is -- unicorns and warts alike. Welcome to Bali, Indonesia!
After spending nearly a year travelling in Southeast Asia, we couldn't leave without first visiting Bali. We decided to take a 2 week trip to the famed island and split our time between Ubud and Sanur to explore as much as possible.
During one of our first nights on the island, we attended a Balinese fire and trance performance. This dance and music drama originated in the 1930s, depicting stories from Hindu literature.
Ubud is the art and cultural capital of Bali and we enjoyed spending a few days here. Our mornings in the town were spent visiting the various temples, browsing through markets, and soaking in the surroundings.
We also had a chance to visit the Tegalalang Rice Terraces. They were lush, green, and reminded us of our time in Korea because Sam's apartment overlooked rice terraces.
Bali is mainly Hindu and the island is home to many temples. During our time in Bali we visited the Elephant Temple, which is best known for its menacing cave entrance.
We also visited Gunung Kawi, which is nicknamed the Rock Temple. The rock temple gets its name because of the 10 shrines that were carved into the rock wall and stand 7 meters tall. They are truly a sight to behold.
Well, I am supposed to sprinkle water on my head, so here we go.
During our tour around the island, we stopped at a lookout point where we saw the impressive Mount Batur looming in the horizon. Mount Batur is an active volcano, however, when we learned that it was open to hikers, we decided we were up for the challenge.
Bali is a great jump off point for exploring some of the surrounding beaches and islands. Trips to Lombok, Nusa Lembongan, and the Gili Islands are very easy to arrange. There are plenty of water sports to choose from including snorkeling, free diving, scuba diving, surfing and even kayaking.
Ubud is home to the monkey forest where infamous little macaques roam freely. The monkey forest is home to over 600 monkeys, who over time have lost all fear of man. The monkeys are not shy and will approach people and even climb onto their bodies if they believe you have food. If you're feeling adventurous and would like to feed the monkeys, you can purchase bananas right at the entrance of the monkey forest.
One of the highlights of our time in Bali, was climbing Mount Batur for sunrise. The morning of the hike, we got up at 2 in the morning and were driven to the base of the volcano.
Overall, we really enjoyed our time in Bali! It may not have been the quiet paradise that's depicted in the movies, but it offered culture, natural beauty, and it was a great place to relax.

Hey guys! We're in Indonesia for a week. Yeah, so this is our second time back in Indonesia and this week we're going to be exploring Yogyakarta and Central Java and this video is going to show you some of the top attractions in the region. Can't wait to show you around. Let's go!
For our very first stop in Central Java, we headed to the biggest Buddhist monument in the world and the most popular attraction in the region: Borobudur.
So we are ready for another adventure. Tell us! Yeah, we're heading up to Mount Merapi and there is basically two different ways you can do it. You can hike up but we're going with a jeep. Yeah, it'll be fun. Hop on in.
After a few days in Jogja, we hopped on a train and headed towards Solo, also known as Surakarta. The ride was a little over an hour, and not only was it an inexpensive way to travel, but it was also incredibly scenic. We zoomed past villages and rice fields, and before we knew it, we had arrived.
So right now we're inside Pasar Triwindu which is an antiques market here in Solo and we are seeing some real gems.
So I went shopping for my Batik and I found one I really like. It cost about 30 US dollars and I can't wait to start wearing it. I think the first time I'll try it on is for dinner soon.
So we're starting off with coconut milk pancakes which are called Serabi.
Our next stop in Solo was the Mangkunegaran Palace, which dates back to 1757. Part of the royal family still lives here, so you can’t wander around.
Another way to experience Solo is by doing a tour on a pedibike, also known as a becak.
This trip was all about going in search of food, culture and a little bit of adventure. Over the course of the week we visited ancient temples, browsed through antique markets, ate our fair share of street food, and tackled a rather infamous volcano. In this video we are going to show you 20 things to do in Yogyakarta and Central Java, so let’s get started.

1) Insadong is the cultural HUB of Seoul. It's an area that is equally as popular with locals as it is with tourists. Whether you're shopping for Korean souvenirs, people watching or wanting to grab some Korean street food, you'll find it all here.
2) Do fancy cats? For cat lovers (and the cats living there) a cat cafe is paradise. With an opportunity to interact with cats and feed them treats, you'll be sure to make a few feline friends in just one sitting. The deal with these cat cafes is that you have to purchase a prepaid drink and/or snack (at a price higher than a normal cafe) for the opportunity to pet and play with kitties. Our favorite cat cafe was located in Hongdae.
3) In the winter Korea is frigid in a way few from abroad might expect. To warm up head to a proper Korean Tea House where you'll be served a wonderful aromatic fruity Korean tea accompanied by rice cake snacks. To enjoy like a local find a spot with Ondol - heated floors. If you're looking for a recommendation, try the ginger tea!
4) For the best view in Seoul consider hiking up Mount Namsan to visit Seoul Tower. Best done in the spring or fall - given the moderate temperatures - this moderately challenging walk will take less than an hour to complete. We picked late fall to go when it was cooler outside and leaves were changing colors.
5) No trip to Seoul would be complete without visiting the oldest market in the city - Namdaemun market. Many come here to shop but I'm all about coming for Korean street food. With a plethora of stalls and no shortage of options it's best to arrive with an empty stomach. If you're having a hard time choosing I recommend Hotteok and Tteokbokki.
6) As if visiting a cat cafe wasn't enough there are also dog cafes in Seoul! Unlike the cat cafes, which are a bit more mellow, prepare for a high energy kind of environment in the dog cafe where the dogs are more active than the docile cats.
7) For the best walk in Seoul head down to the Cheonggyecheon stream in the heart of the city. Equally as fascinating during the summer as it is by winter, it takes on a totally different personality as the seasons change. If you're lucky you'll spot a traditional Korean performance or hear Korean music playing.
8) There are numerous palaces to consider visiting in Seoul but none is more impressive than Gyeongbokgung. With admission being only 3000 KRW it's a cheap and fun landmark to visit. Be sure to stick around for the changing of guard ceremony.

It's a city that is near and dear to my heart and one which I strongly encourage you to visit. Below is my things to do in Seoul travel guide featuring all of the top attractions worth visiting:

1) Insadong is the cultural HUB of Seoul. It's an area that is equally as popular with locals as it is with tourists. Whether you're shopping for Korean souvenirs, people watching or wanting to grab some Korean street food, you'll find it all here.
2) Do fancy cats? For cat lovers (and the cats living there) a cat cafe is paradise. With an opportunity to interact with cats and feed them treats, you'll be sure to make a few feline friends in just one sitting. The deal with these cat cafes is that you have to purchase a prepaid drink and/or snack (at a price higher than a normal cafe) for the opportunity to pet and play with kitties. Our favorite cat cafe was located in Hongdae.
3) In the winter Korea is frigid in a way few from abroad might expect. To warm up head to a proper Korean Tea House where you'll be served a wonderful aromatic fruity Korean tea accompanied by rice cake snacks. To enjoy like a local find a spot with Ondol - heated floors. If you're looking for a recommendation, try the ginger tea!
4) For the best view in Seoul consider hiking up Mount Namsan to visit Seoul Tower. Best done in the spring or fall - given the moderate temperatures - this moderately challenging walk will take less than an hour to complete. We picked late fall to go when it was cooler outside and leaves were changing colors.
5) No trip to Seoul would be complete without visiting the oldest market in the city - Namdaemun market. Many come here to shop but I'm all about coming for Korean street food. With a plethora of stalls and no shortage of options it's best to arrive with an empty stomach. If you're having a hard time choosing I recommend Hotteok and Tteokbokki.
6) As if visiting a cat cafe wasn't enough there are also dog cafes in Seoul! Unlike the cat cafes, which are a bit more mellow, prepare for a high energy kind of environment in the dog cafe where the dogs are more active than the docile cats.
7) For the best walk in Seoul head down to the Cheonggyecheon stream in the heart of the city. Equally as fascinating during the summer as it is by winter, it takes on a totally different personality as the seasons change. If you're lucky you'll spot a traditional Korean performance or hear Korean music playing.
8) There are numerous palaces to consider visiting in Seoul but none is more impressive than Gyeongbokgung. With admission being only 3000 KRW it's a cheap and fun landmark to visit. Be sure to stick around for the changing of guard ceremony.
