Android Wear faced a challenge: They needed to let potential customers experience the magic of an Android Wear smartwatch, but didn’t have a scalable way to get physical devices in the hands of consumers. Media Lab, Google’s own media team, made the impossible possible with dynamic creative.
Media Lab used DoubleClick Creative Solutions to build interactive ads that allowed people to experience the smartwatches as if they were holding one in their hand. The creative responded to the user’s environment just like a real smartwatch, and gave potential customers a taste of what’s possible with an Android Wear watch.
