Dr. Demento is nationally renowned for his weekly two-hour radio festival of mad music and crazy comedy, formerly heard on radio stations coast to coast, and now streaming direct to your computer right here on this site! It's a free-wheeling unpredictable mix of music and comedy. The Doctor plays new funny songs sent in by amateur and professional singers and comedians.

Under the Smogberry Trees
We have learned that Scott and Christy McKenzie, aka Meep Morp Studios, are launching a fund-raising drive on IndieGoGo on or about September 29, 2016 to raise funds to complete their film about Dr. Demento. Please be advised that I do not authorize them to use my voice, name, photograph, likeness, trademark or copyright for their project, and they are not authorized to use those for fundraising. I am not involved with their project.

I continue to work with our crew to complete the true and only authorized Dr. Demento documentary, which can be referenced at http://www.smogberrytreesmovie.com.

Signed - Barret Hansen, aka Dr. Demento

DR. DEMENTO SPEAKS AT REED COLLEGE THURSDAY, JUNE 9
Hi gang, the Doc wanted me to pass along this info for Northwest Dementites!

On Thursday evening, June 9, Dr. Demento will give a talk at Reed College in Portland, OR. The topic is "Entertainment, Education, Indoctrination! 100 Years of American Children's Records." Note that this is a lecture and not a Dr. Demento Show; he will not be wearing his top hat and tails. However, it includes a lot of great kids' songs that will be familiar to Dr. Demento listeners. The lecture will be in Vollum Lecture Hall, on Eliot Circle near the center of the campus. This is the same facility where Dr. Demento spoke last January and on previous occasions. Note starting time: 9 P.M. (The program should finish around 10:30).
Admission is free! First come, first served.
