And the previous memorable mission is followed up with this, the sixth mission of the game, also one that's quite memorable for many reasons. (Skipping cutscenes and equipment preparation? Note that I DO take out the optional target, though in this case I forewent my Accidents only stipulation for that target as it's a bore to do it otherwise. 0:22 - If you didn't figure it out already, details like this suggest Mr. Cayne can be quite the unreliable narrator at times. It leads to some important stuff later, but for now let's just continue on. 2:02 - Remind you of anyone? If you didn't catch on, it's (presumably) a generic version of Hugh Hefner, and the whole resort in this level is similar to a Playboy Mansion or Ranch. 4:36 - This upgrade in particular is really only useful in one very specific instance, but I got it anyway since I do plan to use the Rifle at least once and since I like the appearance of the upgraded case. 5:28 - If you follow the route I go for in this mission, it's basically impossible to not get spotted on CCTV without destroying the offending camera. It's an option, but I didn't want to go for that violent route, so instead that necessitates me having to steal the tape at some point. It varies from level to level, but stealing the CCTV tape in this level sucks. I did it my way because I prefer it, but you might be better off using a strategy involving the public elevator since you at least have some chance of evading the camera there. 6:01 - It may not be necessary to get this disguise if the timing is right on the staff floor shortly before acquiring the next disguise, but I did it anyway to put the Suit into a better position for recovery before ending the level. 7:02 - IIRC, you'll want to move the body because another guard might discover it if you don't. No need for railings or boxes this time, as simply moving it behind those wine racks or whatever they are should be sufficient. 7:28 - IIRC, those bats permit a one-time unsilenced shot at Chad's glass bottom pool if you wish to go that route. 7:55 - If I didn't mention it before, it's worth noting that unstretched Fiber wire is considered inconspicuous. If you like using it, you don't have to worry about keeping it holstered, which is logical since it's weird but doesn't seem threatening until it's taut. 8:13 - There's really no need to kill the rival assassin (the ? on the loading screen), but I did it anyway for the hell of it. Because of the strict timing before a cutscene death, I decided to go for a Fiber wire kill instead of my usual approach. (Poison works as well.) Technically, I think it is possible to pistol whip her and drag her to the balcony near the bats for an "Accident" kill, but come on. When you go to that extent, are you truthfully causing an accident or are you just bullshitting yourself? I don't really like exploiting the game's quirks like that, so I thought a quick wire kill was sufficiently stealthy instead. I'm not sure whether or not killing her adds any money to the contract. I've seen people say yes, but I recall remembering no when testing it out on the PS2 version. Either way, it's an extra bit of challenge I threw in there. 8:31- You can't really tell from this recording (nor could you just from playing on the Professional difficulty), but that girl back there is living but knocked out. Presumably, the assassin found a girl with a private room and took her place. 11:08 - Among other things, the drunken Santa is part of why this level is so memorable. He unfortunately didn't grace us with any lines in this recording, but it's okay. 11:27 - You may be wondering what the hell I'm doing. If you want to get Havilland by Accident, I think a great way involves taking out his dog. His yippie, annoying dog constantly follows him around, and can cause an alert if you're in a compromising position when he barks. Tainting a sausage can get rid of it. IIRC, you can actually use Poison and still get the top rating, but I was kind and just used a Sedative. 12:10 - The bartender can also talk a bit about Chad, but randomly I was not able to get him to talk about certain topics when I was recording attempts. This is why you only see two unique lines rather than three. 12:36 - As much as I like this level, I hate navigating it. I don't know if I just suck or if some of the environments really are that bland and labyrinthine. 16:04 - You could've just used this as a less risky way to get up here, but I didn't bother. Also, my way showed off more of the environment, so that's cool, right?
