The Reformed Presbyterian Church is a group of denominations following a Presbyterian form of Protestant Christianity. Reformed Presbyterian congregations are found in several countries, including Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scotland, France, United States of America, Canada, Japan, South Sudan and Australia. The Reformed Presbyterian Church could be described as a Reformed, or an Evangelical Church.
Reformed Presbyterians believe that the supreme standard for belief and practice is the Bible, received as the inspired and inerrant Word of God.
Reformed Presbyterian theology is apostolic, Protestant, Reformed (or Calvinistic) and evangelical. There is a desire to maintain in its depth and purity the Christian faith handed down from the beginning. The basic principles of the denomination are not different from those held by many other churches. Such distinctives as there are lie in the application and implementation of these truths.
In particular, Reformed Presbyterians give prominence to the kingship of Christ. This has implications for human life in all its spheres. Areas which have received special attention (and where Reformed Presbyterian practice is, in this century, somewhat unusual) are worship and politics. The worship of the King must be governed in every detail by what he has required in His Word. They also believe that the nation is under obligation, once admitted but now repudiated, to recognise Christ as its king and to govern all its affairs in accordance with God's will. Words from Colossians 1:18 express the core of Covenanter theology: 'that in everything he (Christ) might have the supremacy'.

Northern Ireland (Irish: Tuaisceart Éireann [ˈt̪ˠuəʃcəɾˠt̪ˠ ˈeːɾʲən̪ˠ]; Ulster Scots: Norlin Airlann) is a constituent unit of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in the northeast of the island of Ireland. It is variously described as a country, province, region, or "part" of the United Kingdom, amongst other terms. Northern Ireland shares a border to the south and west with the Republic of Ireland. In 2011, its population was 1,810,863, constituting about 30% of the island's total population and about 3% of the UK's population. Established by the Northern Ireland Act 1998 as part of the Good Friday Agreement, the Northern Ireland Assembly holds responsibility for a range of devolved policy matters, while other areas are reserved for the British government. Northern Ireland co-operates with the Republic of Ireland in some areas, and the Agreement granted the Republic the ability to "put forward views and proposals" with "determined efforts to resolve disagreements between the two governments".
Whilst out on my daily walk, ive always walked past this place. I have no idea what it is or what it was used for. It is located in Newtownabbey close to the college. i finally managed to get a chance to fly over with my Hex and to my amazement, THIS PLACE IS/WAS SOME SORT OF MILITARY SITE, FOR WHAT I HAVE NO IDEA!!!. You can still clearly see it is one complete compound, within a large Wall. Within this again it is completely fenced off with security cameras everywhere. it has been just left for the elements to take it. You can clearly see the main entrance security gate with Airlock (double gate). This place was obviously used for something secret that no-one was allowed to enter unless Authorised. it doesnt look large from the outside and from the air. But from where i was ...

Today I decided, since we our having our summer now in Northern Ireland, I would go for a cycle along the shoreline in Newtownabbey. So with a mix of media, using a variety of equipment here is a short video of my trip, before beginning my work in my mothers garden. Please excuse my lack of skill, its just a bit of crack.
Shot on my Canon 7D using VisionColor's VisionTech as the profile on camera and then graded using the Impulz LUT's by them. Have to say I really like the look that this LUT's give. What's interesting is that they are used to emulate film stock rather than give colour which means you can then use other colour systems to grade your film. I ended up using the RGB Curves tool to give more contrast in the shot then used Magic Bullets Colorista II to give it a warmer feel in the shot. The only thing I didn't like about it is how it messed up the look of the flairs near the last bit. Thanks to my roommate who was my actor the the afternoon!
Following two Forage workshops in Belfast and Newtownabbey, I captured the breadth of Mary & Dermot's skills in encouraging people to look and feel in the world around them. forageireland.com

This conference was hosted by the Reformation Society of Pittsburgh at the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary on October 17, 2009. Three messages were delivered by the Rev. Edward Donnelly on the Mystery of the Kingdom. Central to the coming of Jesus to earth was the Kingdom of God. At its heart was something unexpected, disconcerting, and yet thrilling: the mystery of the kingdom. Rev. Donnelly traced the mystery through Christ's life and teaching and then explore its implications for today. This mystery still shapes the experience and mission of the church and enables believers to be both idealistic and realistic. To grasp the balance between the "already" and the "not yet" is crucial for energetic, fruitful ministry. Speaker Biography: Rev. Edward Donnelly is the pastor o...

http://davidsbeenhere.com DBH Guide is in Trim, Ireland at the Newtown Abbey, where David presents a quick video at the Jealous Man and Woman Tomb. Diving right into local lore, David learns that if you have a wart and prick it with one of the many pins left behind on the tomb, the growth will mysteriously disappear. No one seems to be able to back this claim up, but if you both have a wart and find yourself near this hidden gem in County Meath, give it a try yourself. Don't forget to leave the pin behind!
