Our major annual event, Deluxe Winter Market offers free admission in Downtown Oklahoma City, where unique makers show and sell their work to enthusiastic shoppers from all over the region. We've been told some people do all of their holiday shopping with us, so we aim to have a variety of goods for everyone on your list.
The 2016 show is November 26 & 27 at Leadership Square, 211 N. Robinson in Downtown Oklahoma City. As always, we will curate a well-rounded group of makers, artists, service providers and other creatives who make Oklahoma a better place.
The first 50 shoppers in line when we open the doors at 11 on both days will get a free goodie bag. We're also hiding Golden Tickets around the show and inside booths, which you can exchange at the Deluxe information booth for $25 Visa check cards from Oklahoma Employees Credit Union.
Admission for shoppers is always free at Deluxe, and our booth fees are very reasonable for a well-established two-day show. Each year, applications are online by June 1 and artists are notified of selection by September 15.
Deluxe artists create such a wide variety of items, you'll be able to find something for everyone on your list - from newborn babies to disaffected teenagers to meemaws. Seriously. We work hard, with your shopping list in mind.
We are thrilled to have the support of the great folks at Downtown OKC Inc., who make Oklahoma City a better place by putting on fun events and programs.
A new feature we introduced in 2015 is The Elf Market - children under 14 can shop independently or with the help of a volunteer for artist-made gifts, all priced under $10, with all proceeds going to the charity. Our selected recipient this year is the Mental Health Association of Oklahoma. Next to the Elf Market is the Elf Workshop, where volunteer "Elves" make gifts for the market. This special, safe shopping area is JUST FOR KIDS - parents will wait at the door. You can watch your kids shop, but not coach them. Kids love it, and we raised over $1,000 in 2015 for that year's charity, Positive Tomorrows.
