Time to stop the global land rush
The world is facing a land rush that is exposing poor people to hunger, violence and the threat of a life-time in poverty. The World Bank has the power to help stop this. And so do you! Please share and take action.- The Sahel region of West Africa is once again likely to face a serious food crisis that could, if early and effective action is not taken, prove as costly to lives and livelihoods as the past food crises. We aim to reach 1.8 million people across the region with aid.
