It's the biggest social event of the year - if you're a toddler that is. The Wiggles' Wiggly Christmas Big Show is back, with tickets to the beloved end-of-year event, going on sale at 10am this Friday, 7 July.
Appearing in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Wollongong, Newcastle and Brisbane, the gang will also perform two shows in Sydney and Canberra. This year, we're promised real snow, dancing reindeers and our favourite Christmas tunes such as Go Santa Go!
This means one thing folks: the pressure is on to make sure we don't ruin Christmas by failing to purchase tickets.
Worried you might forget in amongst the work/school holiday/vacation care juggle? We hear you - and we're here for you. Just follow these fail-safe steps to Wiggly Christmas success:
1. Put a reminder in your calender
Advice straight from the Wiggles themselves!
2. Make sure all electronic devices are adequately charged and ready for action
Don't be the parent trying to purchase tickets on two per cent battery.
3. Crank the Wiggles tunes the moment you wake up
Chances are this step is probably already a key part of your morning routine. If it's not - make sure you've got your Wiggles playlist ready to go on Friday. There's no way you'll forget to buy tickets with Wiggles songs on your brain ...
Check out their YouTube channel here if you're not already a subscriber:
4. Enlist a backup buddy with fellow tiny Wigglers
Join forces with another parent whose Christmas will be ruined if they don't get Wiggles tickets. Whoever gets in first, collects the goods.
5. Desperate times call for desperate measures
Borrow your child's Wiggles bedspread on Thursday night. If Emma, Lachlan, Anthony and Simon's way-too-cheerful faces are the first things you see when you wake up bleary-eyed on Friday morning, you'll be primed and ready to go.
You are welcome.
