Elderly man taken to hospital after incident near Westfield Belconnen

An elderly man has been taken to hospital after a medical episode near Westfield Belconnen.

Police said the 78-year-old man was sitting inside his car when affected by some sort of medical condition.

The Emergency Services Agency were called to the scene, on Chandler Street, about 12.20pm.

The man's current condition is not known.
