Commercial Use of CBC RSS Feeds Form

CBC Radio-Canada offers a wide range of up-to-the-minute news content suitable for a wide variety of screens and applications.

Here is an outline of how you can use our text content to compliment your business's objectives.

Use in web and e-mail newsletters

Option 1: If you want to use our RSS headlines that link through to the full story on CBC Radio-Canada's websites, you can proceed to use our Partner RSS feeds “as is,” with no customization.

• English “Free Headlines” customizational widget can be found at http://www.cbc.ca/freeheadlines/
• French feeds can be found at http://ici.radio-canada.ca/mesAbonnements/rss/

Option 2: If you want to customize our partner RSS feeds, a monthly licensing fee will apply. Examples of customizations include the display of different fields of editorial content, different link points, or the display of the full story body on your website/e-mail newsletter.

In this option, minimum monthly fees will apply. These minimums will be pro-rated to the volume of impressions. Meaning: a minimum monthly fee will apply for a small site/email distribution, and it will be a larger fee for larger websites & distribution lists. Generally, our minimum is CN$250 per category, per month.

Use in digital signage

All use of CBC Radio-Canada text feed content in digital signage applications must be licensed on a monthly basis. Minimum fees will apply. Meaning: a minimum monthly fee will apply for a small digital signage installation, and it will be a larger fee for larger network or installation. Generally, our minimum is CN$250 per category, per month.
