Fallon is an interesting figure... Before this he was the lead singer for Anthrax, leaving the band just before they recorded "Spreading The Disease" (replaced by Joey Belladonna). He then joined Skid Row, only to be replaced by Sebastian Bach. Fallon literally eluded huge success not once but twice. While he may not have the sheer ferocity of Bach, you can see he was a fine metal vocalist in his own rite. Enjoy.

Fallon was a commercial hard rock band from NJ formed in the early 1990’s. The band featured Matt Fallon (Steel Fortune, Anthrax, Skid Row) on lead vocals, along with Aaron Wilkinson (Raze) on guitar and vocals, Glen Moran (Pierce, Monroe) on bass and vocals, and Jon Nicholson (Atom Stranger) on drums.Matt Fallon fronted several local acts in the early 1980’s including Steel Fortune where he first teamed up with guitar player Dave Sabo. After playing the club circuit with Steel Fortune for a few years, Matt then joined Anthrax in 1984 and they began recording “Spreading the Disease”, however he left before finishing the album and he was replaced by Joey Belladonna.
In 1986 Matt was contacted by Sabo about fronting his newly formed band, Skid Row. Matt accepted, and Skid Row began recording a demo at Jon Bon Jovi's studio in Philadelphia while playing crowd favorites like "Youth Gone Wild" and "18 and Life" in local clubs throughout the year. In December 1986, Skid Row opened for Bon Jovi on their Slippery When Wet tour in Bethlehem and Johnstown, PA. The following year Matt and the band parted ways and he was eventually replaced by Sebastian Bach. Matt later joined forces with Jon, Glen & Aaron to form Fallon.
Fallon recorded a 4 song EP at Sound Design Studios in Philadelphia, PA with Bill Fitch. The band was shopping the EP when they caught the attention of the program director of WSOU at Seton Hall. At the time WSOU was playing some of the best music around and was considered “the” college radio station in the area. They put Fallon's ballad "The Rain Inside" into regular rotation, and were soon playing the groups other songs as well. During the early 90’s Fallon was also featured on WPAT, and played many NJ clubs including the Stone Pony, Club Bene, and the Fastlane.
Fallon was asked to appear on the 1993 Shore Records compilation CD, "Tri States Best Unsigned Artists". Unfortunately, by the time the CD was released, Fallon had broken up. They did reunite to support the release, but it was a short-lived reunion as most of the members had moved on to other projects by that time. Years later, that compilation CD fell into the hands of FNA Records, which led to Fallon's current self-titled release. It contains the songs from the original 4 song EP, as well as other material that the band was performing and recording before going their separate ways.

Matt Fallon
Matt Fallon (born in Brooklyn, NY on September 30, 1965) is a heavy metal singer best known for his work with Skid Row and Anthrax.
Early life
Fallon (aka Matt Frankel) moved to central New Jersey at the age of eight with his parents and younger brother, and by 15 he was playing in a neighborhood garage band with drummer Paul Monroe (aka Paul Schneiderman) who later played with the LA band XYZ.
Career
Inspired by bands like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and AC/DC, Fallon fronted several local acts in the early 1980s including Steel Fortune where he teamed up with guitar player Dave Sabo. Steel Fortune and Anthrax were both on the bill when Metallica came to the Sayreville, New Jersey area in 1983 to promote the release of their first album. In mid 1984 Scott Ian of Anthrax crossed paths with Fallon again at a Steel Fortune show in New York. After the show Ian asked Fallon if he would like to try out for the lead vocals spot recently vacated by Neil Turbin. Fallon accepted and Anthrax began writing & recording their next album “Spreading the Disease” at Pyramid Studios in Ithaca, New York. However, Fallon left before finishing the album, and he was replaced by Joey Belladonna.

Skid row
A skid row or skid road is an impoverished area, typically urban, inhabited by the poor, the homeless, and/or others considered disreputable and forgotten by society. The term skid row may be applied variously to anything from an impoverished urban district to a red-light district to a gathering area for the homeless. It can even be applied figuratively indicating not a physical location but rather the fact the state of a poor person's life. In general, though, skid row refers to areas inhabited or frequented by marginalized individuals (typically marginalized by poverty though drug addiction, bigotry, and/or other factors may be at play as well). Urban areas considered skid rows often feature cheap taverns, dilapidated buildings, and drug dens as well as other features of urban blight.
The term skid road originally referred to the path along which timber workers skidded logs. Its current sense appears to have originated in the Pacific Northwest. Areas identified by this name include Pioneer Square in Seattle;Old Town Chinatown in Portland, Oregon;Downtown Eastside in Vancouver; Skid Row in Los Angeles; the Tenderloin District of San Francisco; and the Bowery of lower Manhattan.

Sebastian Bach
Sebastian Philip Bierk (born April 3, 1968), known professionally as Sebastian Bach, is a Canadian heavy metal singer who achieved mainstream success as frontman of Skid Row from 1987-96. Since his departure from Skid Row, he has had many television roles, acted in Broadway plays, and leads a solo career.
Career
Kid Wikkid (1983–1985)
The members of Kid Wikkid were stationed in Peterborough. Upon hearing of the band and unaware of their ages, 14-year-old Bach auditioned for the group, and was successfully hired by guitar player and band leader, Jason Delorme. Kid Wikkid moved back to Toronto, and Bach's dad eventually allowed Bach to move in with an aunt.
Skid Row (1987–1996)
Skid Row initially formed in the mid 1980s with lead singer Matt Fallon. They began playing at various New Jersey clubs. Fallon would soon leave the band in 1987, leaving Skid Row without a singer. Bach was spotted singing at rock photographer Mark Weiss's wedding at the age of 18, and the members asked him to join in early 1987.

The Durango Kid teaches Jack how to draw and fire a six-gun, and the two ultimately work together to bring the outlaws to justice. Evidently, the director, Fred f. Sears, and the cast had made this picture so many times they could not invent a new ending. At the end Smiley addresses the audience directly and assures us that everything turned out all right. He is puzzled, however, why Steve never got to meet The Durango Kid.

Fallon was a commercial hard rock band from NJ formed in the early 1990’s. The band featured Matt Fallon (Steel Fortune, Anthrax, Skid Row) on lead vocals, along with Aaron Wilkinson (Raze) on guitar and vocals, Glen Moran (Pierce, Monroe) on bass and vocals, and Jon Nicholson (Atom Stranger) on drums.Matt Fallon fronted several local acts in the early 1980’s including Steel Fortune where he first teamed up with guitar player Dave Sabo. After playing the club circuit with Steel Fortune for a few years, Matt then joined Anthrax in 1984 and they began recording “Spreading the Disease”, however he left before finishing the album and he was replaced by Joey Belladonna.
In 1986 Matt was contacted by Sabo about fronting his newly formed band, Skid Row. Matt accepted, and Skid Row began recording a demo at Jon Bon Jovi's studio in Philadelphia while playing crowd favorites like "Youth Gone Wild" and "18 and Life" in local clubs throughout the year. In December 1986, Skid Row opened for Bon Jovi on their Slippery When Wet tour in Bethlehem and Johnstown, PA. The following year Matt and the band parted ways and he was eventually replaced by Sebastian Bach. Matt later joined forces with Jon, Glen & Aaron to form Fallon.
Fallon recorded a 4 song EP at Sound Design Studios in Philadelphia, PA with Bill Fitch. The band was shopping the EP when they caught the attention of the program director of WSOU at Seton Hall. At the time WSOU was playing some of the best music around and was considered “the” college radio station in the area. They put Fallon's ballad "The Rain Inside" into regular rotation, and were soon playing the groups other songs as well. During the early 90’s Fallon was also featured on WPAT, and played many NJ clubs including the Stone Pony, Club Bene, and the Fastlane.
Fallon was asked to appear on the 1993 Shore Records compilation CD, "Tri States Best Unsigned Artists". Unfortunately, by the time the CD was released, Fallon had broken up. They did reunite to support the release, but it was a short-lived reunion as most of the members had moved on to other projects by that time. Years later, that compilation CD fell into the hands of FNA Records, which led to Fallon's current self-titled release. It contains the songs from the original 4 song EP, as well as other material that the band was performing and recording before going their separate ways.

The band featured Matt Fallon (Steel Fortune, Anthrax, Skid Row) on lead vocals, along with Aaron Wilkinson (Raze) on guitar and vocals, Glen Moran (Pierce, Monroe) on bass and vocals, and Jon Nicholson (Atom Stranger) on drums.Matt Fallon fronted several local acts in the early 1980’s including Steel Fortune where he first teamed up with guitar player Dave Sabo. After playing the club circuit with Steel Fortune for a few years, Matt then joined Anthrax in 1984 and they began recording “Spreading the Disease”, however he left before finishing the album and he was replaced by Joey Belladonna.
In 1986 Matt was contacted by Sabo about fronting his newly formed band, Skid Row. Matt accepted, and Skid Row began recording a demo at Jon Bon Jovi's studio in Philadelphia while playing crowd favorites like "Youth Gone Wild" and "18 and Life" in local clubs throughout the year. In December 1986, Skid Row opened for Bon Jovi on their Slippery When Wet tour in Bethlehem and Johnstown, PA. The following year Matt and the band parted ways and he was eventually replaced by Sebastian Bach. Matt later joined forces with Jon, Glen & Aaron to form Fallon.
Fallon recorded a 4 song EP at Sound Design Studios in Philadelphia, PA with Bill Fitch. The band was shopping the EP when they caught the attention of the program director of WSOU at Seton Hall. At the time WSOU was playing some of the best music around and was considered “the” college radio station in the area. They put Fallon's ballad "The Rain Inside" into regular rotation, and were soon playing the groups other songs as well. During the early 90’s Fallon was also featured on WPAT, and played many NJ clubs including the Stone Pony, Club Bene, and the Fastlane.
Fallon was asked to appear on the 1993 Shore Records compilation CD, "Tri States Best Unsigned Artists". Unfortunately, by the time the CD was released, Fallon had broken up. They did reunite to support the release, but it was a short-lived reunion as most of the members had moved on to other projects by that time. Years later, that compilation CD fell into the hands of FNA Records, which led to Fallon's current self-titled release. It contains the songs from the original 4 song EP, as well as other material that the band was performing and recording before going their separate ways.

Skid Row "Youth Gone Wild" w/ original vocalist Matt Fallon (Demo)
This is the original demo of Skid Row's "Youth Gone Wild" featuring the original vocalist, Matt Fallon (later replaced by Sebastian Bach). I got to see Skid Row in the clubs before their debut hit the record stores but only after Sebastian Bach had gotten the gig. It would have been interesting to compare the two... Fallon is an interesting figure... Before this he was the lead singer for Anthrax, leaving the band just before they recorded "Spreading The Disease" (replaced by Joey Belladonna). He then joined Skid Row, only to be replaced by Sebastian Bach. Fallon literally eluded huge success not once but twice. While he may not have the sheer ferocity of Bach, you can see he was a fine metal vocalist in his own rite. Enjoy.

I got to see Skid Row in the clubs before their debut hit the record stores but only after Sebastian Bach had gotten the gig. It would have been interesting to compare the two...
Fallon is an interesting figure... Before this he was the lead singer for Anthrax, leaving the band just before they recorded "Spreading The Disease" (replaced by Joey Belladonna). He then joined Skid Row, only to be replaced by Sebastian Bach. Fallon literally eluded huge success not once but twice. While he may not have the sheer ferocity of Bach, you can see he was a fine metal vocalist in his own rite. Enjoy.

Fallon is: Matt Fallon - Vocals Aaron Wilkinson - Guitars Glen Moran - Bass Jon Nicholson - Drums Fallon was a commercial hard rock band from NJ formed in the early 1990’s. The band featured Matt Fallon (Steel Fortune, Anthrax, Skid Row) on lead vocals, along with Aaron Wilkinson (Raze) on guitar and vocals, Glen Moran (Pierce, Monroe) on bass and vocals, and Jon Nicholson (Atom Stranger) on drums.Matt Fallon fronted several local acts in the early 1980’s including Steel Fortune where he first teamed up with guitar player Dave Sabo. Fallon was a commercial hard rock band from NJ formed in the early 1990’s. The band featured Matt Fallon (Steel Fortune, Anthrax, Skid Row) on lead vocals, along with Aaron Wilkinson (Raze) on guitar and vocals, Glen Moran (Pierce, Monroe) on bass and vocals, and Jon Nicholson (Atom Stranger) on drums.Matt Fallon fronted several local acts in the early 1980’s including Steel Fortune where he first teamed up with guitar player Dave Sabo. After playing the club circuit with Steel Fortune for a few years, Matt then joined Anthrax in 1984 and they began recording “Spreading the Disease”, however he left before finishing the album and he was replaced by Joey Belladonna.
In 1986 Matt was contacted by Sabo about fronting his newly formed band, Skid Row. Matt accepted, and Skid Row began recording a demo at Jon Bon Jovi's studio in Philadelphia while playing crowd favorites like "Youth Gone Wild" and "18 and Life" in local clubs throughout the year. In December 1986, Skid Row opened for Bon Jovi on their Slippery When Wet tour in Bethlehem and Johnstown, PA. The following year Matt and the band parted ways and he was eventually replaced by Sebastian Bach. Matt later joined forces with Jon, Glen & Aaron to form Fallon.
Fallon recorded a 4 song EP at Sound Design Studios in Philadelphia, PA with Bill Fitch. The band was shopping the EP when they caught the attention of the program director of WSOU at Seton Hall. At the time WSOU was playing some of the best music around and was considered “the” college radio station in the area. They put Fallon's ballad "The Rain Inside" into regular rotation, and were soon playing the groups other songs as well. During the early 90’s Fallon was also featured on WPAT, and played many NJ clubs including the Stone Pony, Club Bene, and the Fastlane.
Fallon was asked to appear on the 1993 Shore Records compilation CD, "Tri States Best Unsigned Artists". Unfortunately, by the time the CD was released, Fallon had broken up. They did reunite to support the release, but it was a short-lived reunion as most of the members had moved on to other projects by that time. Years later, that compilation CD fell into the hands of FNA Records, which led to Fallon's current self-titled release. It contains the songs from the original 4 song EP, as well as other material that the band was performing and recording before going their separate ways.
