Beyonce has finally unveiled the two newest additions to the Carter family.

The 35-year-old pop star shared the first official photo of her two new bundles of joy on Instagram on Thursday night.

She even confirmed the names of the boy and girl as she wrote: 'Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today.'

Noticeably absent from the photograph was her husband Jay-Z as she posed in front of a flower arch.

She looked to already be in fantastic shape as she sported a flowy pink floral dress and long blue veil.

Sir Carter and Rumi as they looked adorable while resting comfortably in their mother's arms.

The record-breaking pic sees Bey, holding her new bump, wearing just a bra, underwear and a veil, in front of a huge wreath of flowers.

'We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over,' she captioned it.

'We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes', signing it 'The Carters'.

No doubt Beyonce and her 47-year-old mogul husband are intending on keeping the names Sir Carter and Rumi special as they have reportedly filed trademarks to protect them.

Last month TMZ reported the company run by Beyonce and Jay Z - real name Shawn Corey Carter - filed legal documents on Friday to secure the rights to the unusual monikers.

While both names are distinctly unusual choices, Sir is the more uncommon of the two - with the name normally used as a title before a man's first name.

Meanwhile, while Rumi is a Japanese girls name, it's also the last name of the famed 13th century Persian poet Jelaluddin Rumi.

The singer and the New York-born rap star welcomed their twins into the world in early June and are both said to be overjoyed.

Along with their boy-girl twins, the couple are also parents to five-year-old daughter Blue Ivy.

Beyonce and Jay Z have been married since April of 2008.
