Tiemoue Bakayoko this afternoon posted a picture (left) from Chelsea's training ground at Cobham as he prepares to complete his £40m switch from Monaco. He was given a warm welcome by some of his new Chelsea team-mates last night as he headed out for dinner with David Luiz and Willian at plush Jinjuu restaurant in Mayfair.

McGregor 'dancing monkeys' comment condemned by Mayweather

After their press conference on Wednesday McGregor was asked who would win between him and Rocky III. 'That's the one where he had that celebrity gym isn't it? With the dancing monkeys in the gym and all,' McGregor said. His comments led some people to suggest the MMA star was referring to a scene in the film when Rocky Balboa walks into a gym full of black fighters.

James Anderson takes 300th test wicket and makes history

James Anderson became the first bowler to take 300 Test wickets in England and Wales on Friday when he dismissed Dean Elgar on the first morning of England's clash with South Africa. The seamer reached the milestone when he dismissed the visiting captain with score at 18-0 in the second Test at Trent Bridge. The 34-year-old is already England's leading wicket taker in history, having picked up 471 dismissals in his 124 matches. And now the wicket of Elgar means Anderson, known for his ability to swing the balls both way, has become the first fast bowler in the history of world cricket to take 300 wickets in their home country.

Ronald Koeman's side were one of 25 sides that entered the draw at the third-round stage, alongside the likes of AC Milan, PSV Eindhoven and Fenerbache.

Ozil appeared to enjoy himself on the pitch, as he stole the club photographer's camera and started snapping away himself.

Carles Puyol proved on Thursday night that he is just as competitive now as he was when Barcelona captain. Puyol was captaining Spain's Star Sixes team at the O2 Arena against England when he clattered into former Manchester United defender Phil Neville. Neville seemed to dawdle slightly on the ball before Puyol caught him with his right foot.

Gerard Deulofeu completes return to Barcelona from Everton

Gerard Deulofeu has officially completed his move back to Barcelona from Everton. The 23-year-old forward passed a medical on Friday morning before signing a two-year contract tying him to the Spanish giants until June 30, 2019. Barca last month activated the buy-back clause in Deulofeu's contract with Everton to bring him back to the Nou Camp, where he came up through the youth ranks before moving to England in a permanent deal in 2015.
