Jen Lindley

Jennifer "Jen" Lindley (September 9, 1982 - c. 2008) is a fictional character from the WB television drama Dawson's Creek, portrayed by Michelle Williams, and appeared in 118 episodes.

Fictional biography

Early life

When Jen was 12 years old she was supposed to visit her Grandmother in Capeside with her mother. After an argument at the train station, her mother told her to stay home with her father for the weekend and left her on the platform. When Jen arrived home, she found her father having sex with their 17 year old neighbor Annie, whom Jen has previously looked up to. Jen left the apartment confused and slept in a parking lot that night, passed out in the VIP lounge of a club the next night and spent the third night in the dorm room of a boy she had met at the club the night before. At some point over that weekend Jen lost her virginity. Her behavior began to spiral out of control after that weekend, though she blocked out the memory of what her father had done until she visits him in season 4 when she herself is 17, just after getting accepted into college.
