Night or nighttime (sp. night-time or night time) is the period of time between the sunset and the sunrise when the Sun is below the horizon.
This occurs after dusk. The opposite of night is day (or "daytime" to distinguish it from "day" as used for a 24-hour period). The start and end points of time of a night vary based on factors such as season, latitude, longitude and timezone.
At any given time, one side of the planet Earth is bathed in light from the Sun (the daytime) and the other side of the Earth is in the shadow caused by the Earth blocking the light of the sun. This shadow is called the umbra. Natural illumination is still provided by a combination of moonlight, planetary light, starlight, diffuse zodiacal light, gegenschein, and airglow. In some circumstances, bioluminescence, aurorae, and lightning can provide some illumination. The glow provided by artificial illumination is sometimes referred to as light pollution because it can interfere with observational astronomy and ecosystems.

How James was able to tap into a different level of his mind and play 9-different psychotic characters in his lead role. How M. Night tests his movie with how many times movie-goers go to the bathroom during the movie, and how using his own money, instead of investors', makes his movies a little different. Watch Cast and Crew of Split movie Interviews Writer/director/producer M. Night Shyamalan returns to the captivating grip of The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable and Signs with Split, an original thriller that delves into the mysterious recesses of one man’s fractured, gifted mind. While the mental divisions of those with dissociative identity disorder have long fascinated and eluded science, it is believed that some can also manifest unique physical attributes for each personality, a cognitive and physiological prism within a single being.

THE M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN THEORY By Taylor James Johnson “Everything on this planet has evolved to kill humans.” – Jaden Smith’s Daddy What if I told you that all of M Night Shyamalan’s movies are connected? And that all the characters in those movies actually live in the same universe, only in different times. And that maybe, just maybe M Night Shyamalan is pulling the greatest twist of all and we don’t even know it…until now. How is that possible? Well it is possible. Any thing is possible with… the M Night Shyamalan theory. Spoiler alert. M. Night Shyamalan has become an incredibly polarizing director over the course of his career. For his latest film, he’s returned to his roots with The Visit, a small-scale thriller about a couple of kids who go to spend time with their estranged grandparents while their mother is away on vacation. It will be interesting to see the reaction to this one, and I was eager to speak with Shyamalan after I caught the film at Comic-Con. During our conversation, we talked about his decision to make The Visit as a found-footage movie (although he doesn’t think it’s in that genre), the autobiographical aspects of the characters, becoming synonymous with twist endings, if he might ever pick up Unbreakable into a sequel or TV series, and more. The last I heard of you
You were somewhere on a cruise in the Mediterranean
So imagine my surprise to see you very much alive
In the English rain again
And I can still recall wet afternoons
When we were small and simply childish
But you've created your own ghost
And the need you have is more than most to hide it
Oh, Chameleon, you're stealing your way back into my eyes
Beyond a shadow of a doubt
You're a devil, you're a devil in disguise
Do you really change me, or am I going crazy
Chameleon, Chameleon, Chameleon, you're free again my child
I remember still those lazy summer days
We'd kill out hunting danger
And we were alien to all outsiders
