"Way to Heaven" is the fourteenth single by Japanese recording artist Aya Ueto. It was released on March 14, 2007. "Way to Heaven" was included on the standard edition of Ueto's fifth studio album Happy Magic: Smile Project. The single was released in two formats: the limited edition, which includes an A4-sized 92-page photo book and a bonus DVD featuring music videos, TV spots, and footage of Ueto's past release events, and standard CD-only edition.

Chart performance

"Way to Heaven" debuted on the Oricon Daily Singles chart at number 17 on March 13, 2007 and peaked at number 20 on the Oricon Weekly Singles chart, with 7,554 copies sold in its first week. The single charted for five weeks and has sold a total of 12,144 copies.

Way to Heaven (play)

Way To Heaven (German: Himmelweg) is a 2004 play by the award-winning Spanish playwright Juan Mayorga.

The play is about a notorious incident in 1944 in which a delegation from the International Red Cross visited the Theresienstadt concentration camp. What they saw was a model cleaned up for their visit, and they were duped by the Nazi camp officials into reporting to the world that conditions were good, and that they saw no evidence to support reports of mass murder.

Plot summary

According to The New York Times review of the 2009 production in New York, the play has five sections. It opens with a monologue by the Red Cross inspector. Next a series of tableaux are shown that had been directed by the Nazis, such as a small girl at play teaching her doll to swim. In the third scene, the camp commandant receives the Red Cross visitor (in the event, a commission of several members had visited.) "The world", the commandant tells the Red Cross representative, "is moving toward unity".

Phil Collins

Philip David Charles "Phil" Collins, LVO (born 30 January 1951), is an English singer, songwriter, musician, producer, actor and author. He is best known as the drummer and lead singer in the rock band Genesis and as a solo artist. Between 1983 and 1990, Collins scored three UK and seven US number-one singles in his solo career. When his work with Genesis, his work with other artists, as well as his solo career is totalled, Collins had more US top 40 singles than any other artist during the 1980s.

Born and raised in London, Collins played drums from the age of five and completed drama school training, which secured him various roles as a child actor. He then pursued a music career, joining Genesis in 1970 as their drummer and becoming lead singer in 1975 following the departure of Peter Gabriel. Collins began a solo career in the 1980s, initially inspired by his marital breakdown and love of soul music, releasing a series of successful albums, including Face Value (1981), No Jacket Required (1985) and ...But Seriously (1989). His most successful singles include "In the Air Tonight", "Against All Odds", "Sussudio" and "Another Day in Paradise", becoming "one of the most successful pop and adult contemporary singers of the '80s and beyond". He also became known for a distinctive gated reverb drum sound on many of his recordings. After leaving Genesis in 1996, Collins pursued various solo projects before a return in 2006 for the Turn It On Again Tour. In 2011, he retired to focus on his family life, but continued to write songs. He announced his return to the music industry in 2015.

The Way To Heaven (Japanese: 天国へ行けばいい, Hepburn: Tengoku e Ikebaii) is a one-shot Japanese manga written and illustrated by Yamimaru Enjin, author of the manga Voice or Noise and illustrator of the novel Eat or Be Eaten. It is licensed in North America by Digital Manga Publishing, which released the manga through its imprint, Juné, on February 11, 2009.

Reception

Mania.com's Patricia Beard criticises the manga for its "flawed narrative" but commends the manga for its "wonderful character designs and artwork". Coolstreak Comics' Leroy Douresseaux comments that the manga is "more philosophical than sexual". ActiveAnime's Holly Ellingwood commends the manga's art as "alluring as the immersing story".
