Ezekiel Jackson

Rycklon Stephens (born April 22, 1978) is a Guyanese professional wrestler best known for his time in WWE working under the ring name Ezekiel Jackson. Stephens won the ECW World Heavyweight Championship in 2010. He is also a one-time WWE Intercontinental Champion. He has also worked for Lucha Underground and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA).

Florida Championship Wrestling (2007–2008)

Stephens signed a developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment in March 2007 and debuted in Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) in late June. In his debut match on June 27, he teamed with Keith Walker to defeat Kofi Kingston and Eric Pérez. He continued to compete in the promotion in both tag team and singles matches. On February 8, 2008 he competed in a match with tag partner Bryan Kelly in a losing effort against Steve Lewington and Heath Miller in a mini-tournament to face the WWE Tag Team Champions John Morrison and The Miz. On May 6, 2008, Stephens wrestled his final match in FCW before being called up to WWE's main roster.

Jim Johnston (American football)

James Everett Johnston (April 16, 1917 – November 17, 1973) was a professional football player, an end and running back in the National Football League for the Washington Redskins and the Chicago Cardinals.

Born in Parma, Idaho, he played high school football at Caldwell and college football at the University of Washington in Seattle.

Johnston was selected in the tenth round of the 1939 NFL Draft by the Redskins with the 88th overall pick.

James Alan "Jim" Johnston (born 1959) is an American music composer who has been working for WWE since 1985. His work is often accredited to the names Jim Johnston, James A. Johnston, and James Alan Johnston.

Career

Johnston's chief role in WWE was providing the soundtrack for WWE programming, in addition to providing musical content for WWE's large output of video games, website content and entrance themes for WWE superstars and divas. Johnston achieved fame for producing many of the memorable entrance theme songs for the WWE Superstars, including the likes of The Undertaker, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Big Show, Mr. McMahon amongst hundreds of other superstars, many of which have been released on commercial albums and through iTunes. Since 2014, CFO$ have taken over responsibility for creating entrance themes and musical content for WWE's TV output with Johnston now concentrating on WWE's film division - WWE Studios for whom he has written several soundtracks.

Ezekiel

Ezekiel (/ᵻˈziːki.əl/; Hebrew: יְחֶזְקֵאל, Y'ḥez'qel, Hebrew pronunciation: [jəħezˈqel]), meaning "May God strengthen him", "God will strengthen" (from חזק, ḥazaq, [ħaˈzaq], literally "to fasten upon", figuratively "strong", and אל, el, [ʔel], literally "God", and so figuratively "The Almighty") is the central protagonist of the Book of Ezekiel in the Hebrew Bible.

In Judaism, Christianity, Islam and the Bahá'í Faith, Ezekiel is acknowledged as a Hebrew prophet. In Judaism and Christianity, he is also viewed as the author of the Book of Ezekiel that reveals prophecies regarding the destruction of Jerusalem, the restoration to the land of Israel and the Millennial Temple visions, or the Third Temple.

Life

The author of the Book of Ezekiel presents himself as Ezekiel, the son of Buzzi, born into a priesthood (Kohen) lineage of the patrilineal line of Ithamar, and resident of Anathoth. Apart from identifying himself, the author gives a chronology for the first divine encounter which he will present. He states that it happened "in the thirtieth year", which may be a reference to his age at the time. In such a case, the approximate year of birth is 622 BC. He also dates the event 5 years after the exile of King of Judah Jehoiachin by the Babylonians, a recurring dating pattern throughout the book. Josephus claims that under at the request of Nebuchadnezzar II, Babylonian armies exiled three thousand Jews from Judah, after deposing King Jehoiachin in 598 BC.

EZ3kiel

Ezekiel stylized as EZ3kiel is a French musical group formed in 1993 originating from La Riche, Tours, France. It now consists of three members Joan Guillon (main songwriter and guitarist), Yann Nguema (former bassist in charge of visual and interactive aspect) and Stéphane Babiaud (training percussionist, multi-instrumentalist and arranger). Matthieu Fays (drummer), a founder of EZ3kiel withdrew from the group in May 2012 after twenty years of collaboration.

Vocalist Brigitte Amédomé and guitarist Florent Duytschaever participated in the project during its first years of existence (1994-1999). Stéphane Babiaud joined the group in 2007 after recording the album Naphtaline to which he actively participated. The band has been involved in parallel projects, classical music project Naphtaline Orchestra, exhibitions notably Les Mécaniques Poétiques d'EZ3kiel, theatrical, poetic and musical collaborations with a great number of independent artists.

Career

The group was named Ezekiel in reference to the fake Biblical quote from Pulp Fiction, directed by Quentin Tarantino but was renamed EZ3kiel. The original line-up founding members in 1993 were Yann Nguema (bass), Florent Duytschaever (guitar) and Matthieu Fays (drums). In 1994, they were joined by Brigitte Amédomé on vocals and Joan Guillon (guitar and keyboards). Joan Guillon was also responsible for the production side and sampling, whereas Yann Nguema is responsible for the visual aspects of production. Vocalist Brigitte Amédomé and guitarist Florent Duytschaever left the band in 1999.
