How Much Dollars Trump's Daughter Received From Arab Sheikhs - Shahid Masood Telling By: Daily Pak News Shahid Masood Khan is a Pakistani journalist, doctor and a political analyst who guests a talk show Live with Dr. Shahid Masood on News One. Previously he served as Group executive director of GEO News and President of ARY Digital Network. In 2008, he was briefly appointed as the managing director and chairman of Pakistan Television Corporation and also served as the special assistant to then Prime Minister of Pakistan Yousaf Raza Gillani with the status of a minister of state in the Gillani ministry. In an interview to Arab News, Khan says that his father was a civil engineer in Saudi Arabia and he worked there for 15 years while, his mother is a teacher. According to him, he spent his childhood in Taif and Riyadh. For seven years, he went to the Pakistan International School in Riyadh. Two of his younger brothers were born in Saudi Arabia so the country is close to him. Khan received fellowship of Royal College of Surgeons, U.K.He is a medical doctor by profession. Khan did his major in International Relations and Defence Studies from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. Khan served as senior Executive Director of ARY Digital Network, and since 2001 he was hosting TV show Views on News. He was also the chief of the ARY One World (now known as ARY News). In 2005, Khan received scholarship from CNN and carried out coverage of three wars including Afghanistan, Iraq and Lebanon. In 2007, Khan joined Geo TV as its Group Executive Director where he hosted the TV show Meray Mutabaq. In June 2008, Khan was appointed as the Chairman of Pakistan Television Corporation with the additional charge of Managing Director at PTV on a two-year contract. However, in November 2008 he resigned from the post chairman and managing director. Reportedly in 2008, Khan was asked to resign from PTV by then President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari after tensions mounted between him and then Minister of Information Sherry Rehman which stated after Khan suspended PTV director administration and personnel who was later reinstalled. Ministry of Information was also dissatisfied by the audit of PTV under Khan's chairmanship and at the same time wanted to increase salaries of PTV staff at a time of financial crises. Khan was taking a monthly salary of around ₨ 1 million and was appointed without the approval of Minister of Information. Khan was supposed to pay ₨ 5 million to PTV if resigned as per contract terms, however which he didn't paid. Following the resignation, he was appointed as special assistant to then Prime Minister of Pakistan Yousaf Raza Gillani with the status of a minister. In 2014, he joined News One and started show Live with Dr. Shahid Masood, as a guest journalist. The show then shifted to ARY News in February 2016, and then on BOL from late 2016 till February 2017. The show then re-shifted to News One on 14 February 2017. Khan also had presented religious documentaries End of Time: The Lost Chapters from News One in 2015, and End of Time: Final Call from ARY News in 2016.
