Synopsis::With India ready to enter into the Atomic Age, several international gangsters get together to steal the secret for the benefit of other nations. This results in a bomb being planted on an airliner carrying Dr. Srivastava, the Chief Scientitist, and the abduction of another, Khurana. The Indian Secret Service assigns this case to Agent 116, Gopalkishan Pandey, who is just recovering from the death of his fiancée, Asha, who was killed by gunmen hunting for him. Gopal's investigation leads him to a young cabaret dancer, Bijli, who is the main contact between the international conspirators. Through befriending her, he learns that she is not who she claims to be, but is actually the daughter of Kedar, an employee of Daulatram, who had mysteriously disappeared. As Gopal delves more and more into this mystery, the fewer become his chances at successfully apprehending an enemy that is always elusive and a step ahead of the authorities.

Parveen Babi
Parveen Babi (4 April 1949 – 20 January 2005) was an Indian actress, who is most remembered for her glamorous roles alongside top heroes of the 1970s and early 1980s in blockbusters like Deewar, Namak Halaal, Amar Akbar Anthony and Shaan.
Personal life and education
Parveen was born in Junagadh, Gujarat to a Muslim family. She did her early schooling from Mount Carmel High School, Ahmedabad and later attended St. Xavier's College, Ahmedabad where she earned a Master of Arts in English literature. Her father, Vali Mohammed Babi, (died 1959), was a system administrator with the Nawab of Junagadh and Jamal Bakhte Babi (died 2001). Born in a feudal aristocratic family, her ancestors came from a lineage of Gujarat's historical Pathan community and belonged to the royal Babi Dynasty. Parveen was born fourteen years after the marriage of her parents and was their only child. She lost her father at the age of ten.
Parveen never married but media tabloids speculated that she may have had relationships with men in the film-industry such as director Mahesh Bhatt as well as actors Kabir Bedi and Danny Denzongpa. She was also rumoured to have had an affair with her co-star of many films, Amitabh Bachchan, with whom she later developed irrational fears as she accused him of trying to kill her.Bhatt later wrote and directed Arth (1982), a supposedly semi-autobiographical film about his relationship with Babi, and wrote and produced Woh Lamhe (2006) based on his recollection and interpretation of his relationship with Parveen and without any inputs from her. It is uncertain whether Woh Lamhe is a truthful semi-autobiography of Babi rather the details of her character in the movie appears fabrication and manipulative narration of her life.

The movie story deals with Anil and Shobha both are in love and are about to get married. Anil goes abroad for a while. He returns after one year and finds that Shobha has married a rich man, JK. He is unaware that Shobha has done this to save the life of his sister, Vinnie. Vinnie was about to become a mother before marriage. She had only one choice of saving Vinnie's life, it was to marry JK. Only then he would release Vinnie's love, Rakesh. He actually wanted to marry Shobha because he wanted to embarrass her in front of everyone because she had embarrassed him in front of his office people. So, Shobha convinces Anil's mother to let Vinnie marry the one she loves. But Anil thinks that she got married to JK because he is a rich man. Anil takes a trip somewhere else to forget her. There, he falls in love with a girl named Sona. Meanwhile, JK keeps embarrassing Shobha every time. When JK subsequently gets to know that he might die due to too much intake of alcohol, he grows nice with Shobha, and soon they fall in love. Anil gets married to Sona while JK dies. Anil thinks its Shobha's punishment of what she did that killed JK. But then Anil comes to know the truth and visits her. She is pregnant with JK's baby. One day Anil meets her in the hospital but Sona sees them and she misunderstands their relation. She has a car accident and is soon admitted in the hospital. The doctor says that she is all right but she cannot have a baby. That night Anil tells the truth about Shobha to his mother and Sona. Suddenly Shobha appears she gives her own baby to Sona. She says that it is her all fault that Sona couldn't have a baby. Shobha had consumed a bottle of poison before coming to Anil's house. She is soon dead.

Plot :
Govind (Amitabh Bachchan) and Rajesh (Vinod Mehra) are two brothers who are happy being brought up by their considerably older stepbrother Hari (Sanjeev Kumar). However, when Hari has to leave home for two months to complete his law degree, his newly married wife Seema (Tanuja), jealous of her husband's excessive affection for the two, misbehaves with them, forcing them to leave home and escape to Mumbai.
After days spent doing menial labour, the two brothers are finally given a home by the widower Rahim, who has a son Anwar and daughter Farida. Govind takes on the responsibility of providing for his brother's education by becoming the taxi-driver Chhotu Ustad. Rajesh, however, is ambitious and foppish, and spurns his brother and the latter's pride by marrying the rich Seth Verma's daughter Manju (Bindiya Goswami) and staying at his father-in-law's mansion.
Verma's brother Bansi (Prem Chopra), who has actually been instrumental in fixing up this marriage, employs the unsuspecting Rajesh to carry on a drug-smuggling trade using the vehicles of the Verma Transport Company, owned by the Seth. One such operation is foiled by the police, and Anwar, also mixed up in his business, is left seriously injured. Bansi's men attempt to kidnap Anwar to destroy evidence when Govind is not at home. In the skirmish that ensues, Rahim is shot fatally.
In the aftermath of the tragedy and Rajesh's realisation of how he has been used by Bansi, Rajesh seeks his brother's mercy. However, at this very moment, Bansi murders Seth Verma and tries to frame Rajesh for it. However, it is Govind who is found at the scene of the crime and accused of murder. The judge at his trial is Hari, who is now one of the leading legal eagles in the city. In the course of the trial, the real identity of the accused and his brother are revealed to Hari. Hari now steps down as judge and defends Govind. Through a series of astute investigations, he unearths the truth. Bansi, cornered, attempts to shoot Hari and escapes the courtroom, but is finally tracked down by Govind in his beloved taxi 'Basanti'. As the smuggler is arrested, the three brothers are reconciled. -----------

She was spotted by renowned B.R. Ishara at Ahmedabad University, and he approached her to act in his forthcoming movie, Charitraheen, which was a sequel to Chetna. Her co-star in this movie was none other than renowed Indian cricketer Salim Durrani. Since then there has no looking back for this gorgeous, tall, and long-legged actress, sometimes referred to as the "poor man's Zeenat Aman". Parveen Babi has lit up the silver screen with her charming looks and personality since the 1970s.
Among her more memorable movies with megastar Amitabh Bachchan are: Deewar, Namak Halal, Amar Akbar Anthony, and Kala Patthar. Her most glorious moment was when Time Magazine chose to display her photograph on their cover page in 1976, depicting the changing face of Bollywood and Bollywood actresses.
After acting in her last movie, Akarshan, she suddenly disappeared from public view and became more or less a recluse. It is known that she took up interior designing, and had a very close circle of friends.
She then left for the United States of America and was not seen nor heard for about 10 years. When she returned after that period of time, she was barely recognizable, as she had put on considerable weight.
She created a stir when she filed a writ petition in the Bombay High Court, charging several dignitaries, including Bollywood actor, Amitabh Bachchan, for attempting to kill her. This petition was dismissed by the Court for want of evidence.
On Sunday January 22, 2005, neighbors at her Juhu residence noticed that she not collected her milk nor her newspapers from her doorstep for the last three days. The neighbors notified the Secretary of the building, who in turn notified the police.
On Saturday January 22, 2005, a police team opened the door to her apartment with a duplicate key, and found her dead body.
The police believed that the door had been locked from the inside for last three days, and suspect no foul play.
Parveen Babi was an only child in a noble Junagadh-based family. Her dad had passed away when she was very young, and her mom also passed away several years ago.

On Sunday January 22, 2005, neighbors at her Juhu residence noticed that she not collected her milk nor her newspapers from her doorstep for the last three days. The neighbors notified the Secretary of the building, who in turn notified the police.
On Saturday January 22, 2005, a police team opened the door to her apartment with a duplicate key, and found her dead body.
The police believed that the door had been locked from the inside for last three days, and suspect no foul play.

Parveen Babi(4 April 1949 - 20 January 2005) was considered to be one of the most successful bollywood actresses in the 1970s and was known for her portrayal of iconoclastic women who did not care about the conventional norms of society. who is most remembered for her glamorous roles alongside top heroes of the 1970s and early 1980s.
She was spotted by renowned B.R. Ishara at Ahmedabad University, and he approached her to act in his forthcoming movie, Charitraheen, which was a sequel to Chetna. Her co-star in this movie was none other than renowed Indian cricketer Salim Durrani. Since then there has no looking back for this gorgeous, tall, and long-legged actress, sometimes referred to as the "poor man's Zeenat Aman". Parveen Babi has lit up the silver screen with her charming looks and personality since the 1970s.
Among her more memorable movies with megastar Amitabh Bachchan are: Deewar, Namak Halal, Amar Akbar Anthony, and Kala Patthar. Her most glorious moment was when Time Magazine chose to display her photograph on their cover page in 1976, depicting the changing face of Bollywood and Bollywood actresses.
