Plot: A simple story of a God fearing, devout Muslim mechanic named Hasmat Ullah who has been entrusted the job of repairing an old V8 ford engine, not knowing the historic significance that it once carried the ashes of Mahatma Gandhi which were immersed in the holy river Sangam. He is caught in a complex situation after a powerful bomb explosion rocks his town leading to the arrest of innocent Muslim youths of his locality. A strike to work is called by the prominent Leaders of his community to protest against the unjust treatment meted out to those arrested youths by the police. Will he support the protest and abandon the repair of the engine or go against the wishes of his community. Thus begins his journey.

Plot: After the passing away of his wife, Pooja, Delhi-based Vikram Madan, enrolls his daughter, Priya, in a boarding school in Amritsar, and re-locates to work as a Mechanic at Chandigarh Airport. His daughter informs him that she is on her way to Amritsar on a hostel-trip on Indian Airlines Flight IC147. Plot: Principal Goswami of prestigious Royal Heritage High School recruits his chum, Hari Sadu, to coach his school's five-time winning cricket team, only to let him go following complaints of abuse. Plot: A devout but a very naive Muslim youth Banne (Ashish Kaul) leaves his home-land to go to the City to live with Shakeel (vikas Anand), and his beautiful daughter Sabha (Juni). He expects to be pampered as he has been at his home, and Shakeel and Sabha do their best to make him feel at home. He and Sabha slowly get attracted to each other. He is a talented singer, and soon his talents are discovered by Titlibai (Himani Shivpuri), who invites him to live with her and her daughter, Sahida (Rubaina Khan), and he does so. He is easily impressed by the attentions bestowed on him by Titlibai and the beauty of Sahida, who he is told he will marry soon, leaving poor Sabha heart-broken. He can only marry Sahida after he seeks approval from Titlibai, who, though very agreeable and friendly, has an agenda of her own, which will change Banne's life and outlook forever.
