Eega

Eega (English: Fly) is a 2012 Indian fantasy film written and directed by S. S. Rajamouli and starring Sudeep, Samantha and Nani. The film was produced simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil (as Naan Ee) (Translation: I am a Fly). The film is presented by Daggubati Suresh Babu (Telugu version and Hindi dubbed) and Pearl V. Potluri (for Tamil version) The music of the film was composed by M. M. Keeravani. cinematography was handled by K. K. Senthil Kumar, edited by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao, art direction by Ravinder Reddy and dialogues written by Janardhan Maharshi (for Telugu), Crazy Mohan (for Tamil) and Anuj Gurwara (Hindi dubbing only).

The live action animation and visual effects were supervised by Rahul Venugopal, Adel Adili, and Pete Draper of Makuta Effects. The Telugu version Eega and Tamil version titled Naan Ee with dubbed Malayalam version titled Eecha were released on 6 July 2012 with over 1200 prints, grossed ₹1.25 billion (US$18 million) worldwide. The film was subsequently dubbed into Hindi as Makkhi. As of December 2012, the film has been reported to be dubbed in Thai. A Chinese dub titled Kung Fu Housefly was also reported to have been planned as of June 2013.

Nani

Luís Carlos Almeida da Cunha (born 17 November 1986), commonly known as Nani (Portuguese pronunciation: [naˈni]) or Luís Nani, is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a winger for Turkish club Fenerbahçe and the Portugal national team. Although predominantly right-footed, he has been utilised on the left wing on many occasions.

Nani was born in Cape Verde and emigrated to Europe with his family at an early age. He was raised in Portugal and began his football career playing for local side Real Massamá. At the age of nine, he began training with Sporting Clube de Portugal and S.L. Benfica on alternate days, eventually joining Sporting's youth squad after they offered him pre-season training. In 2005, he made his professional debut with the club and won the Portuguese Cup during his second season with them. Nani was named the SJPF Young Player of the Month for May 2007 and his performances with Sporting culminated into a move to English club Manchester United in July 2007 for a fee of €25 million.

S. S. Rajamouli

S. S. Rajamouli (born Koduri Srisaila Sri Rajamouli) is an Indian film director, and screenwriter known for his works mainly in Telugu cinema. He is known for directing blockbuster films Magadheera (2009), Eega (2012) and Baahubali: The Beginning (2015). Baahubali: The Beginning, was screened at the Open Cinema Strand of Busan International Film Festival, Indian Film Festival The Hague,Sitges Film Festival in Spain,Utopiales Film Festival in France,Golden Horse Film Festival in Taipei, Taiwan,Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia,L'Etrange International Film Festival in Paris, Five Flavours Film Festival in Poland and Hawaii International Film Festival in Honolulu.

His other notable works include the sports drama film Sye, the social problem film Vikramarkudu, which was screened at the International Film Festival of India in the mainstream section. The melodrama films Maryada Ramanna, Vikramarkudu and Chhatrapati were remade in various Indian languages, with successful reviews. He has garnered the Star World India, "Entertainer of The Year", and the National Film Award in 2012. He has garnered several awards including four state Nandi Awards, and four IIFA Utsavam Awards.

Sudeep

Sudeep Sanjeev (born 2 September 1973), known mononymously as Sudeep, is an Indian film actor, director, producer, screenwriter, playback singer who works primarily in Kannada cinema.

Sudeep is known for his performances in the Kannada films Sparsha (1999), Huchcha (2001), Nandhi (2002), Kiccha (2003), Swathi Muthu (2003), My Autograph (2006), Mussanjemaatu (2008), Veera Madakari (2009), Just Maath Maathalli (2010), Kempe Gowda (2011), Vishnuvardhana (2011), Bachchan (2013) and Maanikya (2014), and the Telugu-Tamil Eega (2012). He won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Kannada for three consecutive years for his films Huchcha (2001), Nandhi (2002) and Swathi Muthu (2003). Since 2013, he is hosting the television reality show Bigg Boss in Kannada which only regional language holds other than hindi.

Early life

Sudeep was born to Sanjeev Manjappa and Saroja in Shimoga district of the erstwhile Mysore State (now Karnataka). He obtained his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bengaluru. He was a University-level cricket player during the day and had also represented at the State-level in its Under-17 and Under-19 teams. Before taking up acting as a profession, Sudeep attended the Roshan Taneja School of Acting in Mumbai, where he overcame 'shyness'.

Film

A film, also called a movie, motion picture or photoplay, is a series of still images which, when shown on a screen, creates the illusion of moving images due to the phi phenomenon. The contemporary definition of cinema is the art of simulating experiences to communicate ideas, stories, perceptions, feelings, beauty or atmosphere by the means of recorded or programmed moving images along with other sensory stimulations.

The process of filmmaking is both an art and an industry.
