It is challenging to find a 100watt universal power adapter that will run off of a cigarette light outlet. This one does.
I tested this thing on every laptop I had including my old 6.3Amp laptop and it powered them up and charged them just fine.
It does not have the center pin adapter for my HP Elitebook, but most universal power adapters don't have that one anyways.
My only issue with this product is the USB port. The one I got drops down below 4.5Volts as soon as you plug anything into it. I tested it in every way I could and came to the conclusion that the USB port should not be used on this power adapter. I may have gotten a bad unit.
I like the fact that there are individual LEDs to indicate your set voltage. This is a nice touch that helps insure you get exactly the voltage you need.
All voltages read slightly higher than the set voltage, which is a good thing. Better to be slightly high so that if the voltage drops a little you will still be within spec.
Besides the problem with the USB port, I would still recommend this power adapter for powering your laptop in your car. It can be a real challenge to find a good car charger. In the past I have resorted to using inverters, which are not very efficient.

Test Laptop AC Power Adapter with Multimeter by Britec
Let's say your laptop does not start at all. You plug in the power adapter and press on the power button, but the laptop will not react. It's dead and the power or battery charge LED will not light up.
What could be wrong? Is it bad power jack or the motherboard is dead?
First of all, test the AC/DC power adapter with a multimeter. It's possible that there is noting wrong with the laptop and your problem is related to the power adapter.

AC adapter
An AC adapter, AC/DC adapter, or AC/DC converter is a type of external power supply, often enclosed in a case similar to an AC plug. Other common names include plug pack, plug-in adapter, adapter block, domestic mains adapter, line power adapter, wall wart, power brick, and power adapter. Adapters for battery-powered equipment may be described as chargers or rechargers (see also battery charger). AC adapters are used with electrical devices that require power but do not contain internal components to derive the required voltage and power from mains power. The internal circuitry of an external power supply is very similar to the design that would be used for a built-in or internal supply.
External power supplies are used both with equipment with no other source of power and with battery-powered equipment, where the supply, when plugged in, can sometimes charge the battery in addition to powering the equipment.

Adapter
An adapter or adaptor is a device that converts attributes of one electrical device or system to those of an otherwise incompatible device or system. Some modify power or signal attributes, while others merely adapt the physical form of one electrical connector to another.
An electric power adapter may enable connection of a power plug, sometimes called «travel plug», used in one region to a AC power socket used in another, by offering connections for the disparate contact arrangements, while not changing the voltage. An AC adapter, also called a "recharger", is a small power supply that changes household electric current from distribution voltage (in the range 100 to 240 volts AC) to low voltage DC suitable for consumer electronics.
For computers and related items, one kind of serial port adapter enables connections between 25-contact and nine-contact connectors, but does not affect electrical power- and signalling-related attributes.

UPDATE: THIS IS THE FINAL VERSION The client is very happy with the result and wants to keep expanding our work for next year! I am doing a promo video for the American College of Sofia - an american private school in Bulgaria. Shot with a Sony Z7P, Brevis 35mm DOF adapter, Nikon 50mm f1.4, Nikon 85mm f1.8 Nikon 180mm f2.8 and Zeiss Distagon 28mm f2. We also had a homebuild dolly with tracks 2 meters long. The dolly itself is 80cm, so movement is about 1m but looks like they're longer with a wide angle lens. Comments are welcome and wanted! Thanks! P.S. It is challenging to find a 100watt universal power adapter that will run off of a cigarette light outlet. This one does.
I tested this thing on every laptop I had including my old 6.3Amp laptop and it powered them up and charged them just fine.
It does not have the center pin adapter for my HP Elitebook, but most universal power adapters don't have that one anyways.
My only issue with this product is the USB port. The one I got drops down below 4.5Volts as soon as you plug anything into it. I tested it in every way I could and came to the conclusion that the USB port should not be used on this power adapter. I may have gotten a bad unit.
I like the fact that there are individual LEDs to indicate your set voltage. This is a nice touch that helps insure you get exactly the voltage you need.
All voltages read slightly higher than the set voltage, which is a good thing. Better to be slightly high so that if the voltage drops a little you will still be within spec.
Besides the problem with the USB port, I would still recommend this power adapter for powering your laptop in your car. It can be a real challenge to find a good car charger. In the past I have resorted to using inverters, which are not very efficient.

I am doing a promo video for the American College of Sofia - an american private school in Bulgaria.
Shot with a Sony Z7P, Brevis 35mm DOF adapter, Nikon 50mm f1.4, Nikon 85mm f1.8 Nikon 180mm f2.8 and Zeiss Distagon 28mm f2. We also had a homebuild dolly with tracks 2 meters long. The dolly itself is 80cm, so movement is about 1m but looks like they're longer with a wide angle lens.

P.S. This is where we did the "Low Budget Cinematography" workshop with Philip Bloom and that is my first commercial project that utilizes 35mm adapters.

This one does. I tested this thing on every laptop I had including my old 6.3Amp laptop and it powered them up and charged them just fine. It does not have the center pin adapter for my HP Elitebook, but most universal power adapters don't have that one anyways. My only issue with this product is the USB port. The one I got drops down below 4.5Volts as soon as you plug anything into it. I tested it in every way I could and came to the conclusion that the USB port should not be used on this power adapter. UPDATE: THIS IS THE FINAL VERSION The client is very happy with the result and wants to keep expanding our work for next year! I am doing a promo video for the American College of Sofia - an american private school in Bulgaria. Shot with a Sony Z7P, Brevis 35mm DOF adapter, Nikon 50mm f1.4, Nikon 85mm f1.8 Nikon 180mm f2.8 and Zeiss Distagon 28mm f2. We also had a homebuild dolly with tracks 2 meters long. The dolly itself is 80cm, so movement is about 1m but looks like they're longer with a wide angle lens. Comments are welcome and wanted! Thanks! P.S. It is challenging to find a 100watt universal power adapter that will run off of a cigarette light outlet. This one does.
I tested this thing on every laptop I had including my old 6.3Amp laptop and it powered them up and charged them just fine.
It does not have the center pin adapter for my HP Elitebook, but most universal power adapters don't have that one anyways.
My only issue with this product is the USB port. The one I got drops down below 4.5Volts as soon as you plug anything into it. I tested it in every way I could and came to the conclusion that the USB port should not be used on this power adapter. I may have gotten a bad unit.
I like the fact that there are individual LEDs to indicate your set voltage. This is a nice touch that helps insure you get exactly the voltage you need.
All voltages read slightly higher than the set voltage, which is a good thing. Better to be slightly high so that if the voltage drops a little you will still be within spec.
Besides the problem with the USB port, I would still recommend this power adapter for powering your laptop in your car. It can be a real challenge to find a good car charger. In the past I have resorted to using inverters, which are not very efficient.

laptop can be opened by Li battery but it need to be charged so I need constant power by AC Adapter Charger

problem is that AC Adapter Charger cant supply power to laptop

So only after 28h in use AC Adapter Charger did end functioning, power cable is fine it can power other AC Adapter Chargers
When try to start this HP laptop by this AC Adapter it simply wont power up.
laptop can be opened by Li battery but it need to be charged so I need constant power by AC Adapter Charger
I like to get replacement unit or I want refund for this order.

I am doing a promo video for the American College of Sofia - an american private school in Bulgaria.
Shot with a Sony Z7P, Brevis 35mm DOF adapter, Nikon 50mm f1.4, Nikon 85mm f1.8 Nikon 180mm f2.8 and Zeiss Distagon 28mm f2. We also had a homebuild dolly with tracks 2 meters long. The dolly itself is 80cm, so movement is about 1m but looks like they're longer with a wide angle lens.

P.S. This is where we did the "Low Budget Cinematography" workshop with Philip Bloom and that is my first commercial project that utilizes 35mm adapters.
