Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. (commonly known as Warner Bros., Warners, or simply WB) is an American entertainment company that produces film, television and music entertainment. As one of the major film studios, it is a division of Time Warner, with its headquarters in Burbank, California. Warner Bros. has several subsidiary companies, including Warner Bros. Pictures, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Warner Bros. Television, Warner Bros. Animation, Warner Home Video, New Line Cinema, Castle Rock Entertainment, and DC Entertainment. Warner Bros. owns half of The CW Television Network.
The company's name originates from the four founding Warner brothers (born Wonskolaser or Wonsal before Anglicization):Harry (born Hirsz), Albert (born Aaron), Sam (born Szmul), and Jack (Itzhak, or to some sources, Jacob). They emigrated as small children with their parents to Canada from Krasnosielc which was located in the part of Congress Poland that had been subjugated to the Russian Empire following the eighteenth-century Partitions of Poland near present-day Ostrołęka.
Warner can refer to:
Bros (/brɒs/ BROSS;) was a British band active in the late 1980s and early 1990s, consisting of twin brothers Matt Goss and Luke Goss, and Craig Logan. The band's name comes from an abbreviation for the word 'brothers'. Formed in 1986, they were managed by former Pet Shop Boys manager Tom Watkins.
Bros's first single, "I Owe You Nothing", was initially released in 1987, and peaked at number 80 on the UK Singles Chart.
Their second single, "When Will I Be Famous?", became a breakthrough single for Bros, reaching the number 2 position on the UK Chart, and the number 1 on Ireland's IRMA chart. The song also reached the top ten in Germany, Denmark, Sweden, and Australia.
Bros followed up with single "Drop the Boy", which also peaked on the UK charts at number 2 and at number 1 in Ireland. They then released their debut album Push. The album went 4× Platinum in the UK British Phonographic Industry, and 5x platinum in Ireland, also hitting the number one spot in many countries across Europe, and number 4 in Australia. Bros released several more tracks from the album, including a reissue of "I Owe U Nothing", which reached number 1 in the UK and several other countries. Push was reissued in 2013 by Cherry Pop records to mark 25 years since the original release.
Family Entertainment was the second album from the British progressive rock band Family, released in March 1969. The cover of the album was a takeoff from the sleeve of the Doors' second album, Strange Days, as Family admitted.
The album was released on Reprise Records (RSLP6340) in stereo pressings, no mono pressings are known, in the USA, England and Germany. Initial UK pressings came with a black and white poster/lyric sheet inside. Original inner bags were the gold-on-white 'Egyptian' poly-lined Reprise house bags. The band were on tour in America and their manager hastily mixed and released the album without their approval. This proved to be the end of their relationship with manager John Gilbert (who retained the rights to the album via his Dukeslodge production deal which, by now, was registered in the Bahamas, the address of which was proudly printed on the album sleeve).
String arrangements were by Tony Cox, played by the Heavenly Strings, Nicky Hopkins played piano on some tracks. Famed illustrator Alan Aldridge was the album designer with photos taken by Rodger Phillips.
Entertainment is a form of activity that holds the attention and interest of an audience, or gives pleasure and delight. It can be an idea or a task, but is more likely to be one of the activities or events that have developed over thousands of years specifically for the purpose of keeping an audience's attention. Although people's attention is held by different things, because individuals have different preferences in entertainment, most forms are recognisable and familiar. Storytelling, music, drama, dance, and different kinds of performance exist in all cultures, were supported in royal courts, developed into sophisticated forms and over time became available to all citizens. The process has been accelerated in modern times by an entertainment industry which records and sells entertainment products. Entertainment evolves and can be adapted to suit any scale, ranging from an individual who chooses a private entertainment from a now enormous array of pre-recorded products; to a banquet adapted for two; to any size or type of party, with appropriate music and dance; to performances intended for thousands; and even for a global audience.
In looking on how proud my logo history of Hanna-Barbera (old edition) was, it's popular enough to start the oldest logo history of all the entertainments and cartoon-makers, WARNER BROTHERS! I actually think Warner Bros. is not the oldest logo, but now I thought it was Paramount.

After two months of planning, scripting, editing, more planning, more re-editing, recording, more re-recording, rendering, re-rendering, downloading software, and re-re-rendering, I decided that Sony Vegas and uploading to YouTube is unnecessarily tedious and I may need to purchase some new editing software. More importantly, you are all ready to witness and sit through this behemoth of a video. Welcome to the fourth episode of The Logo Corner, perhaps the longest I have created yet. This episode covers the logo evolution of Warner Bros, a company that has a rich history both in filmography and American animation. I spend more time discussing the film aspect, and I may reserve another Logo Corner episode specifically for Warner Bros' animation department. The history of this logo is ult...
