Ayen

Ayen is a French commune in the Corrèze department in the Limousin region of central France.

The inhabitants of the commune are known as Ayennois or Ayennoises.

The commune has been awarded two flowers by the National Council of Towns and Villages in Bloom in the Competition of cities and villages in Bloom.

Geography

Ayen is located some 20 km north-west of Brive-la-Gaillarde and 7 km west of Objat. Access to the commune is by road D5 from Saint-Robert in the west which passes through the village and continues south-east to join the D901. The D39 comes from Perpezac-le-Blanc in the south and passes through the village before continuing north to Juillac. The D17 from Rosiers-de-Juillac in the north-west passes through the north of the commune and continues south-west to join the D901. The D95 goes south-west from the village to Louignac and the D2 goes south to Cublac. The D140 goes north-east from the village to Vars-sur-Roseix. Apart from the village there are the hamlets of Ayen Bas to the west of the village; Laval, Soulet, and Leyfourchie in the north of the commune; and Graschamp, Le Temple, Les Chaumonts, and Les Charnie in the south. The commune is mixed forest and farmland.

Lord Kossity

Thierry Moutoussamy (born 23 December 1972), better known as Lord Kossity, is a French musician. His family is originally from Martinique but he was born in Paris, France and moved back to the French Antilles with his family when he was 11 years old. He began his career in the '90s with the group Contrast, with his cousin, Dr G-Kill. He started incorporating ragga music with the zouk style later in the '90s, and has since recorded a number of albums and collaborated with Suprême N.T.M., Vybz Kartel, Shaggy, Bounty Killer, adult movie star Clara Morgane and Elephant Man. He has sold 4,230,000 records.

Jassi Gill

Jassi Gill (born 26 November 1988) is an Indian singer and actor of Punjabi origin.

Biography

Born Jasdeep Singh to a Jatt Sikh family in Punjab. He had no inclination to become a singer. While studying at Gobindgarh College that a teacher noticed his musical talent when he took up music as a practical subject to increase his marks. He was trained and pushed Jassi for youth festivals where he came second 4 times in a row.

Music career

He made his debut in 2011 with the album Bachmate which went on to became an instant success with the hit song "Chudiyan" winning everyone's hearts. In 2012 he followed up this up by releasing the single "Vigre Sharabi" which expanded his image with the youth. In January 2013 he released his second album Bachmate 2 which went on to become an even bigger hit than the previous album and his song Lancer became one of the biggest hits of the year. He then followed this up with the hit song "Classmate" that featured in the movie Daddy Cool Munde Fool. In September 2013 he came out with another single Pyar Mera which too went on to carve a place for itself in the hearts of millions worldwide.

Miguel I of Portugal

D. Miguel I (English: Michael I; 26 October 1802 – 14 November 1866), "the Absolutist" (Portuguese: "o Absolutista") or "the Traditionalist" (Portuguese: "o Tradicionalista"), was the King of Portugal between 1828 and 1834, the seventh child and third son of King João VI (John VI) and his queen, Carlota Joaquina of Spain.

Following his exile as a result of his actions in the Abrilada, Miguel returned to Portugal as regent and fiancé of his niece Queen Maria II. As regent, he claimed the Portuguese throne in his own right, since according to the so-called Fundamental Laws of the Kingdom his older brother Pedro IV and therefore the latter's daughter had lost their rights from the moment that Pedro had made war on Portugal and become the sovereign of a foreign state (Brazilian Empire). This led to a difficult political situation, during which many people were killed, imprisoned, persecuted or sent into exile, and which culminated in the Portuguese Liberal Wars between authoritarian absolutists and progressive constitutionalists. In the end Miguel was forced from the throne and lived the last 32 years of his life in exile.
