Audi i set to offer some more flair for its sports cars.

The German brand's performance division, Audi Sport, has announced a range of Performance Parts which are designed to enhance the TT and R8.

Initially the range will be divided into four main groups covering interior, exterior, suspension and exhaust systems, however Audi Sport plans to expand with additional parts and to include more models at a later date.

The Audi TT, TTS and TT RS variants can be fitted out with coil over suspension kits, 20-inch black alloy wheels, upgraded sport brake pads for the steel brakes or the optional carbon ceramic brakes of the TT RS, rear crossmember reinforcement and a titanium Akrapovic exhaust system.

The R8 can be upgraded via coil over suspension and 20-inch alloy wheels.

Both models can be equipped with a range of carbon fibre reinforced polymer aero kits with add-on parts applied to the front air inlets, side sills and diffuser, plus an available front splitter, front bumper flics and a fixed rear wing.

The aerodynamic pack is more than just visual upgrades as it can provide up to 250kg of downforce at 330km/h - which is an increase of around 100kg compared to the standard R8 - or 52kg of downforce at 150 km/h. The TT is also available with a vented bonnet.

Inside, Audi is offering carbon fibre reinforced polymer shift paddles when equipped with an automatic transmission, a sport contour steering wheel trimmed in Alcantara with a red 12 o'clock position marker and a carbon fibre rear brace that takes the place of the rear seats in the TT and enhances torsional rigidity while reducing weight by 20kg.

Audi Australia has not yet revealed if it will offer the performance parts locally.
