Digvijay Singh Pariyar

Digvijay Singh Pariyar (born February 24, 1993) is an Indian musician and singer. Mostly known for his sufi, semi-classical, classical, folk and Hindi songs.

Early life

Born in Nainital, Uttarakhand, India to Mr Kishan Singh and Mrs Chandra Parihar. He speaks Hindi and English. Digvijay attended Ingraham Institute English School, Ghaziabad and completed his graduation in BSc (Hons.) through ECA (MUSOC) Quota in Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi. He started learning music early from his mother at the age of five, Former Scholar of Gandharva Mahavidyalaya.

Career

Digvijay won various college level singing competitions. He won Antar Ragini Idol, IIT Kanpur for three consecutive years. After college, he got a chance to show his talent in Benedryl Big Golden Voice by Big FM; where he was the sole contestant selected from Delhi Region to be called to Mumbai for Grand Finale. Being judged by Shankar Mahadevan there, he got selected as a playback singer in upcoming movie for rustic texture in his voice. He was then called to Big FM for interview where he met Salim Sulaiman, who offered Digvijay to work with him in two more movies.

At 21 years old, Dina Asher-Smith has become something of a powerhouse on the athletics track. In July 2015, she became the first ever British woman to run the 100m in under 11 seconds (10.99 to be exact) at the London Anniversary Games. And then in the 2015 World Championships, she broke the women’s British record for running 200m, doing it in 22.07 seconds (Usain Bolt did it in 19.19, if that puts it in perspective) ...
