Thebe Neruda Kgositsile (born February 24, 1994), better known by his stage name Earl Sweatshirt, is an American rapper, record producer, actor, songwriter, musician, and a former member of the Los Angeles-based hip hop collective Odd Future. He is signed to Columbia Records, as well as his own label, Tan Cressida. Earl gained recognition and critical praise for his debut mixtape, Earl. Following its release, his mother sent him to a boarding school in Samoa until his 18th birthday. On August 20, 2013, he released his debut studio album, Doris. On March 23, 2015, the digital version of Earl's second album, I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside: An Album by Earl Sweatshirt was released; the physical version of the album was released on April 14, 2015 to acclaim. On April 28, a ten-minute song/EP named "Solace" was released on YouTube.
Thebe Neruda Kgositsile was born in Chicago and moved to Los Angeles a few years later. His parents are Cheryl Harris, a law professor at University of California, Los Angeles, and Keorapetse Kgositsile, a South African poet and political activist who left the family when Thebe was six years old. Thebe attended the UCLA Lab School and then went on to graduate from New Roads High School in Santa Monica.
An earl /ɜːrl/ is a member of the nobility. The title is Anglo-Saxon, akin to the Scandinavian form jarl, and meant "chieftain", particularly a chieftain set to rule a territory in a king's stead. In Scandinavia, it became obsolete in the Middle Ages and was replaced with duke (hertig/hertug). In later medieval Britain, it became the equivalent of the continental count (in England in the earlier period, it was more akin to duke; in Scotland it assimilated the concept of mormaer). However, earlier in Scandinavia, jarl could also mean sovereign prince. For example, the rulers of several of the petty kingdoms of Norway had in fact the title of jarl and in many cases of no lesser power than their neighbours who had the title of king. Alternative names for the "Earl/Count" rank in the nobility structure are used in other countries, such as Hakushaku during the Japanese Imperial era.
In modern Britain, an earl is a member of the peerage, ranking below a marquess and above viscount. A feminine form of earl never developed; countess is used as the equivalent feminine title.
A sweater (American English) is a knitted garment intended to cover the torso and arms. A sweater is either a pullover or a cardigan, distinguished in that cardigans open at the front while pullovers do not. In British English, a pullover may also be called a jumper or jersey, and there is no hypernym equivalent to sweater covering both pullovers and cardigans.
Sweaters are worn by adults and children of all genders; often over a shirt, blouse, T-shirt, or other top, but sometimes next to the skin. Sweaters were traditionally made from wool, but can now be made of cotton, synthetic fibers, or any combination thereof. Sweaters are maintained by washing or dry cleaning, and the use of a lint roller or pill razor.
The term "sweater" is a catch-all for a variety of knit garments. Although the term often refers to a pullover, it can also refer to a cardigan, a garment that opens and fastens down the front. Within either group, there is a great variety of design. Various necklines are found, although the V-neck, turtleneck and the crew neck are the most popular. The waistline is typically at hip height or slightly longer, just overlapping the waist of one's pants or skirt, but can vary significantly. It can range from just below the bust in women's garments to mid-thigh in either sex, or even longer in a knitted variation of the poncho shirtdress. The sleeve length is also variable, ranging from full-length or three-quarters to short-sleeved, cap sleeves or sleeveless. The front seam or opening of a cardigan allows for further different styles, such as a surplice or a bolero jacket. All hems may have various types of borders, such as picots, ribbing and frills.
Casey Jones, better known by his stage name Casey Veggies (born July 18, 1993), is an American hip hop recording artist from Inglewood, California. Since 2007, he has released five independent mixtapes under LA clothing and management company Peas & Carats Intl. His most recent mixtape, Fresh Veggies, was released on December 16, 2013. His debut studio album, Live & Grow, was released on September 25, 2015.
Casey Jones was born in Inglewood, California on July 18, 1993.
At the age of 14, Casey released his first mixtape, titled Customized Greatly Vol. 1; while he was going through by his stage name at the time, as Custom. Casey was one of the founding members of the hip hop collective Odd Future, appearing on the collective's first effort The Odd Future Tape, before he decided to branch out on his own, after his first mixtape release. In an interview with Respect Mag, Casey stated it as: "It’s hard to explain, really, but I just had more of a [different] vision for my own rap career. I wanted to do my own thing."
Vince Staples (born July 2, 1993) is an American rapper from Long Beach, California. He is one-third of the hip hop group Cutthroat Boyz, alongside fellow California rappers Joey Fatts and Aston Matthews. Staples was also known as a close associate of Odd Future, in particular Mike G and Earl Sweatshirt. Staples is currently signed to Blacksmith Records, ARTium Recordings and Def Jam Recordings. He came to prominence with his appearances on albums by Odd Future members and his collaborative mixtape titled Stolen Youth, with fellow American rapper Mac Miller, who produced the entire project. In October 2014, he released his debut EP Hell Can Wait, which included the singles "Hands Up" and "Blue Suede". His debut album, Summertime '06, was released on June 30, 2015, to critical acclaim.
He was also chosen as part of the XXL Magazine 2015 Freshman Class.
Once he decided to get away from gang banging, he stayed out of trouble by hanging out with Dijon "LaVish" Samo and Chuck Wun who at that time were into making music. LaVish brought Vince on a trip to LA where he'd be recording with Syd tha Kyd from Odd Future and Vince ended up befriending her, Mike G and Earl Sweatshirt. Although he never wanted to be a rapper he featured on some of their songs, most notably Epar from Earls self-titled debut and after being urged by them and fans wanting more he decided to pursue a career in rap because he had no other plan for life. His debut mixtape Shyne Coldchain Vol. 1, was released December 30, 2011 via applebird.com. In October 2012, Staples released a mixtape entitled Winter In Prague, produced entirely by Michael Uzowuru.

Plot: A fable of innocence: thirteen-year-old Aviva Victor wants to be a 'mom'. She does all she can to make this happen, and comes very close to succeeding, but in the end her plan is thwarted by her sensible parents. So she runs away, still determined to get pregnant one way or another, but instead finds herself lost in another world, a less sensible one, perhaps, but one pregnant itself with all sorts of strange possibility. She takes a road trip from the suburbs of New Jersey, through Ohio to the plains of Kansas and back. Like so many trips, this one is round-trip, and it's hard to say in the end if she can ever be quite the same again, or if she can ever be anything but the same again.

She then meets a handsome army drummer (Robert Cummings) who secretly dreams of becoming a famous composer and conductor. Unfortunately the military forbids the young corporal to create his own music. I LOVE SAMIYAM BEATS I LOVE EARL RAPS Apparently this was meant to be on EARL'S 'I DONT LIKE SHIT...' album but didnt make it at the time due to sample clearance issues. It was meant to come after the track 'FAUCET' my favourite from the project. Last year i started drawing up ideas in a sketchbook what a video for that might look like but as was a self initiated project i shelved it to pay the rent. When the chance came along to make a video for this track i jumped at the chance. The idea here isn't the same as the one i have worked out for FAUCET... hopefully i'll get around to making that too. http://www.stonesthrow.com/samiyam https://itunes.com/samiyam

'Earl Watson' is a short film about a struggling street musician inspired by and edited to the music of Chidomo, and is my submission to this year's Vimeo Awards Narrative Category! This video was about 3 months in the works from when the idea sparked to upload, and wow....I had a really great time bringing this together. It was my first time working with a human character as a main subject, extras, and multiple cameramen, and though it was challenging and frustrating at times, it was extremely rewarding, I learned a BUNCH of stuff, and I am very happy with how it turned out. I am all the way open to critiques, comments, etc. so please feel free to let me know what you think/feel! Enjoy! Earl produced almost half the songs on Doris, which features many of his friends, including the rapper Vince Staples. Vince joined Earl in a conversation with Microphone Check hosts Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Frannie Kelley. They spoke about the m...

Animated run cycles and walk cycles, produced using Flash©. Music: The swimming song from: Earl Scruggs Review Album, Banjo by Scruggs, Vocals by Wainwright.
Enjoy!
