January 14 is the 14th day of the year in the Gregorian calendar. There are 351 days remaining until the end of the year (352 in leap years).
In the 20th and 21st centuries the Julian calendar is 13 days behind the Gregorian calendar, thus January 14 is sometimes celebrated as New Year's Day (Old New Year) by religious groups who use the Julian calendar.

Brief highlights of the First Division match between Wolves and Everton at Molineux on 21st January 1978. Wolves had struggled for any consistency all season ahead of their match against Everton and with Sammy Chung's team languishing in a lowly 16th position in the league, just 4 points clear of Queens Park Rangers in 20th, relegation was a distinct possibility for Wolves. Chung generally relied upon the same core of experienced players that had played a prominent role in winning the Second Division title the previous season. Cultured centre-half Frank Munro had been transferred to Celtic following a loan move earlier in the campaign, but his long-time defensive colleagues John McAlle, Derek Parkin and Geoff Palmer remained at Molineux. They were complimented by midfielders Kenny Hibb...

In January of 1978 the Ohio Valley was hit with a severe winter storm. Snowfall totals in excess of a foot were reported across a wide area. High winds caused the snow to drift. Many schools were closed for more than a week! These big winter storms is what captured my imagination for weather. This is when my passion began! Thanks to Tony Crouch for putting together this family video. The video also shows my two sisters - Deena and Dione
A Silver Jubilee edition of the show, with Ken Dodd, Jan Hunt, Maryette & Vernon Midgley, Doreen Hermitage & Julia Sutton, Jose Luis Moreno, The Hurricanes, Inga-Lise, Albert Aldred and Dora Bryan

I know that fan is moving air
I can see it in your hair
but I can't bear to breathe it in somehow
I'll rise and fall with you cause you can't fail me now
Salt is sweet upon my mouth
and dark throws *sparks* against my house
the state of love is a smudge upon my brow
but you see through me and you can't fail me now
when you see right through me you can't fail me now
I've bit off more than i can chew
its something that i tend to do
when fewer words are what we need and how
I bite my tongue and you can't fail me now
I rant and rail but you can't fail me now
solo
Bridge:
I've lost the thread among the vines
and hung myself in storylines that tell the tales I
never would allow
God knows the name of every bird that fills my mind
like angry words
but you know all my secret heart avows
We're taught to love the worst of us
and mercy more than life but trust me
mercy's just a warning shot across the bow
I live for yours and you can't fail me now
I live for your mercy
you can't fail me now
