During the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed Aston Martin revealed a new version of their track-only Vulcan supercar which is called Vulcan AMR Pro. Basically it consists in a performance upgrade package that features new aerodynamics components and shortened gearing in order to improve downforce and responsiveness of the 820hp Vulcan.
First time I saw this car in action and I have to say I'm not surprised by the low noise level, just like some V12 Vantage GT3s. The V12 still sounds so good but far away from its potential (think about the DBR9...). Anyway in this video you can see and hear it doing some accelerations, burnouts and fly bys on the Goodwood hillclimb course.

Aston is an area in Central Birmingham, in the West Midlands of England. Commencing immediately to the north-east of the city centre, Aston constitutes a ward within the unitary authority.
History
Aston was first mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1086 as "Estone", having a mill, a priest and therefore probably a church, woodland and ploughland. The Church of SS Peter & Paul, Aston was built in medieval times to replace an earlier church. The body of the church was rebuilt by J. A. Chatwin during the period 1879 to 1890; the 15th century tower and spire, which was partly rebuilt in 1776, being the only survivors of the medieval building.
The ancient parish of Aston (known as Aston juxta Birmingham) was large. It was separated from the parish of Birmingham by AB Row, which currently exists in the Eastside of the city at just 50 yards in length. It was partly included in the borough of Birmingham in 1838, and a further part, Saltley was added in 1891.

Aston Villa F.C.
Aston Villa Football Club (/ˈæstən ˈvɪlə/; also known as Villa, The Villa, The Villans, The Lions) is a professional football club based in Witton, Birmingham, that plays in the Premier League, the highest level of English football. Founded in 1874, they have played at their current home ground, Villa Park, since 1897. Aston Villa were the originators and founder members of the Football League in 1888. They were also founding members of the Premier League in 1992, and have remained there ever since. The club were floated by the previous owner and chairman Doug Ellis, but in 2006 full control was acquired by American businessman Randy Lerner.
Aston Villa are one of the oldest and the most successful football clubs in the history of English football. Villa won the 1981–82 European Cup, and are thus one of five English clubs to win what is now the UEFA Champions League. They have the fifth highest total of major honours won by an English club, having won the First Division Championship seven times, the FA Cup seven times, the Football League Cup five times and the UEFA Super Cup in 1982. The club have also produced a record 73 England national team players, equalled only by Tottenham Hotspur.

John Terry
John George Terry (born 7 December 1980) is an English professional footballer who plays for and captains Chelsea. He commonly plays as a centre back. He was also captain of the England national football team, holding the post from August 2006 to February 2010, and again from March 2011 to February 2012.
A strong, tenacious, commanding and physical defender, Terry excels in the air and is known for his aggressive tackling, positioning and his ability to read the game; he is considered to be one of the best central defenders of his generation. Terry was named UEFA Club Defender of the Year in 2005, 2008 and 2009,PFA Players' Player of the Year in 2005, and was included in the FIFPro World XI for five consecutive seasons, from 2005 to 2009. He was also named in the all-star squad for the 2006 FIFA World Cup, the only English player to make the team.
Terry is Chelsea's most successful captain, having led them to four Premier League titles, four FA Cups, three League Cups and one UEFA Champions League title since 2004. He is one of five players to have made over 500 appearances for Chelsea and is also the club's all-time highest scoring defender. In 2007, he became the first captain to lift the FA Cup at the new Wembley Stadium in Chelsea's 1–0 win over Manchester United, and also the first player to score an international goal there, scoring a header in England's 1–1 draw with Brazil.

Aston Martin
Aston Martin Lagonda Limited is a British manufacturer of luxury sports cars and grand tourers. It was founded in 1913 by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford.
The firm became associated with luxury grand touring cars in the 1950s and 1960s, and with the fictional character James Bond following his use of a DB5 model in the 1964 film Goldfinger.
The company has had a chequered financial history, including bankruptcy in the 1970s, but has also enjoyed long periods of success and stability, including under the ownership of David Brown, from 1947 to 1972 and of the Ford Motor Company from 1994 to 2007.
In March 2007, a consortium of investors, led by David Richards, purchased 92% of Aston Martin for £479 million, with Ford retaining a £40 million stake. David Richards became chairman of Aston Martin. In December 2012, the Italian private equity fund Investindustrial signed a deal to buy 37.5% of Aston Martin, investing £150 million as a capital increase.
History
Founding
Aston Martin was founded in 1913 by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. The two had joined forces as Bamford & Martin the previous year to sell cars made by Singer from premises in Callow Street, London where they also serviced GWK and Calthorpe vehicles. Martin raced specials at Aston Hill near Aston Clinton, and the pair decided to make their own vehicles. The first car to be named Aston Martin was created by Martin by fitting a four-cylinder Coventry-Simplex engine to the chassis of a 1908 Isotta-Fraschini.

Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro - V12 Sound In Action at Goodwood 2017
During the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed Aston Martin revealed a new version of their track-only Vulcan supercar which is called Vulcan AMR Pro. Basically it consists in a performance upgrade package that features new aerodynamics components and shortened gearing in order to improve downforce and responsiveness of the 820hp Vulcan. First time I saw this car in action and I have to say I'm not surprised by the low noise level, just like some V12 Vantage GT3s. The V12 still sounds so good but far away from its potential (think about the DBR9...). During the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed Aston Martin revealed a new version of their track-only Vulcan supercar which is called Vulcan AMR Pro. Basically it consists in a performance upgrade package that features new aerodynamics components and shortened gearing in order to improve downforce and responsiveness of the 820hp Vulcan.
First time I saw this car in action and I have to say I'm not surprised by the low noise level, just like some V12 Vantage GT3s. The V12 still sounds so good but far away from its potential (think about the DBR9...). Anyway in this video you can see and hear it doing some accelerations, burnouts and fly bys on the Goodwood hillclimb course.

Close to Honolulu, Pearl Harbor was the scene of a major military tragedy. During an unexpected attack, practically the whole of the American Pacific fleet was bombed by the Japanese and destroyed. The attack on the U.S. naval base was the ultimate reason that the United States eventually took part in the Second World War.
In winter, the most dedicated surfers collect on Sunset Beach to experience the world's most sought-after waves, some of which are as high as the tallest church steeples. Between Kawela Bay and Haleiwa, each winter the best surfers in the world meet for the Surfing World Championships.
'Aloha!' is Hawaii's magical word. It means 'Welcome', 'Good-Bye' and also 'Love'. Life is so simple in paradise!

Because of its location in South Jersey, hugging the Atlantic Ocean between marshlands and islands, Atlantic City was viewed by developers as prime real estate and a potential resort town. In 1853, the first commercial hotel, the Belloe House, was built at the intersection of Massachusetts and Atlantic Avenues.
A High Tide at Atlantic City by William Trost Richards is housed in the Brooklyn Museum.

The city was incorporated in 1854, the same year in which the Camden and Atlantic Railroad train service began. Built on the edge of the bay, this served as the direct link of this remote parcel of land with Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. That same year, construction of the Absecon Lighthouse, designed by George Meade of the Corps of Topographical Engineers, was approved, with work initiated the next year. By 1874, almost 500,000 passengers a year were coming to Atlantic City by rail. In Boardwalk Empire: The Birth, High Times, and Corruption of Atlantic City, "Atlantic City's Godfather" Nelson Johnson describes the inspiration of Dr. Jonathan Pitney (the "Father of Atlantic City"[27]) to develop Atlantic City as a health resort, his efforts to convince the municipal authorities that a railroad to the beach would be beneficial, his successful alliance with Samuel Richards (entrepreneur and member of the most influential family in southern New Jersey at the time) to achieve that goal, the actual building of the railroad, and the experience of the first 600 riders, who "were chosen carefully by Samuel Richards and Jonathan Pitney":
"After arriving in Atlantic City, a second train brought the visitors to the door of the resort's first public lodging, the United States Hotel. The hotel was owned by the railroad. It was a sprawling, four-story structure built to house 2,000 guests. It opened while it was still under construction, with only one wing standing, and even that wasn't completed. By year's end, when it was fully constructed, the United States Hotel was not only the first hotel in Atlantic City but also the largest in the nation. Its rooms totaled more than 600, and its grounds covered some 14 acres."
The first boardwalk was built in 1870 along a portion of the beach in an effort to help hotel owners keep sand out of their lobbies. Businesses were restricted and the boardwalk was removed each year at the end of the peak season. Because of its effectiveness and popularity, the boardwalk was expanded in length and width, and modified several times in subsequent years. The historic length of the boardwalk, before the destructive 1944 Great Atlantic Hurricane, was about 7 miles (11 km) and it extended from Atlantic City to Longport, through Ventnor and Margate.
The first road connecting the city to the mainland at Pleasantville was completed in 1870 and charged a 30-cent toll. Albany Avenue was the first road to the mainland available without a toll.
By 1878, because of the growing popularity of the city, one railroad line could no longer keep up with demand. Soon, the Philadelphia and Atlantic City Railway was also constructed to transport tourists to Atlantic City. At this point massive hotels like The United States and Surf House, as well as smaller rooming houses, had sprung up all over town. The United States Hotel took up a full city block between Atlantic, Pacific, Delaware, and Maryland Avenues. These hotels were not only impressive in size, but featured the most updated amenities, and were considered quite luxurious for their time.

Atlantic City is a resort city in Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States, known for its casinos, boardwalk and beach. In 2010, it had a population of 39,558. Located on Absecon Island, it was incorporated on May 1, 1854, from portions of Egg Harbor Township and Galloway Township. The city borders Absecon, Brigantine, Pleasantville, Ventnor City, West Atlantic City and the Atlantic Ocean.
Atlantic City was the inspiration for the American version of the board game Monopoly, especially the street names.
Since 1921, Atlantic City has been the location for the Miss America pageant.

Because of its location in South Jersey, hugging the Atlantic Ocean between marshlands and islands, Atlantic City was viewed by developers as prime real estate and a potential resort town. In 1853, the first commercial hotel, the Belloe House, was built at the intersection of Massachusetts and Atlantic Avenues.

The city was incorporated in 1854, the same year in which the Camden and Atlantic Railroad train service began. Built on the edge of the bay, this served as the direct link of this remote parcel of land with Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. That same year, construction of the Absecon Lighthouse, designed by George Meade of the Corps of Topographical Engineers, was approved, with work initiated the next year. By 1874, almost 500,000 passengers a year were coming to Atlantic City by rail. In Boardwalk Empire: The Birth, High Times, and Corruption of Atlantic City, "Atlantic City's Godfather" Nelson Johnson describes the inspiration of Dr. Jonathan Pitney (the "Father of Atlantic City"[27]) to develop Atlantic City as a health resort, his efforts to convince the municipal authorities that a railroad to the beach would be beneficial, his successful alliance with Samuel Richards (entrepreneur and member of the most influential family in southern New Jersey at the time) to achieve that goal, the actual building of the railroad, and the experience of the first 600 riders, who "were chosen carefully by Samuel Richards and Jonathan Pitney":

This is the fourth video in the series to promote responsible tourism in South Africa. From our first destination, Cape Town. We interview Jennifer Aston, from WHL (http://www.southafricahotel-link.com/) and ask her how she views the position of responsible tourism in South Africa, and any practical tips she can provide to help people to reduce their negative impact. We then meet with a local friend and tour guide (Siviwe Mbinda) for walking tour around Langa - the first black township in Cape Town. He explains the history from apartheid to current day, and how tourism has helped benefit the local community. We even share a beer and watch a soccer game in a shebeen with the locals.
In South Africa the word ‘township’ refers to a residential area for black Africans and Coloureds that segregates them from other racial groups within a city.
Along the journey, we will also provide our message and discovery, including some useful tips and advice for tourists who are planning on traveling to South Africa, and how they may become more responsible on the road in reducing their impact.

Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro - V12 Sound In Action at Goodwood 2017
During the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed Aston Martin revealed a new version of their track-only Vulcan supercar which is called Vulcan AMR Pro. Basically it consists in a performance upgrade package that features new aerodynamics components and shortened gearing in order to improve downforce and responsiveness of the 820hp Vulcan. First time I saw this car in action and I have to say I'm not surprised by the low noise level, just like some V12 Vantage GT3s. The V12 still sounds so good but far away from its potential (think about the DBR9...).
