Q. Why isn’t ‘Off to the Vet’ available in full on YouTube?
A. ‘Off to the Vet’ film production and crowdfunding campaign was a huge undertaking for the Simon’s Cat Team. Our hope is to produce more long form, full colour content for our fans but without having to turn to them through crowdfunding again. The film was completed in 2015 and submitted it to a selection of international film festivals over the following months. During this time, it was exclusively available to all funders that contributed via our private production blog. The feedback we have received from our funders has been overwhelming positive and we hope they are extremely proud of making the film a possibility. Q. What software do you use?
A. Simon's Cat is made using Adobe Flash / TV Paint / CelAction animation software.
Q. Why does it take so long to make each Simon's Cat film?
A. Even though the films are made on computer software, they are still hand-animated in a traditional manner, frame to frame. It usually takes between 12 and 25 drawings to create 1 second of a Simon's Cat film.

Simon's Cat
Simon's Cat is an animated cartoon and book series by the British animator Simon Tofield featuring a hungry house cat who uses increasingly heavy-handed tactics to get its owner to feed it.
In January 2009, it was announced that Simon's Cat would be published in book format. Canongate released the title on 1 October 2009 in the United Kingdom. It was later released in many other countries and additional titles in the series were subsequently published.
A Simon's Cat newspaper strip ran in the Daily Mirror from 2011 to 2013.
In August 2015, it was announced that Endemol Shine UK had acquired a stake on Simon's Cat.
Production
The series was animated with Adobe Flash software until 2014, then with TVPaint. The pictures are hand-drawn electronically, using an A4-size Wacom Intuos 3 graphics tablet.
Creator Simon Tofield revealed that his four cats, called Teddy, Hugh, Jess and Maisie, provide inspiration for the series, with Hugh being the primary inspiration.

Talking Tom and Friends
Talking Tom and Friends is the flagship franchise of multinational entertainment company Outfit7 Limited. As of August 2015 there are six characters (Talking Tom, Talking Angela, Talking Ginger, Talking Ben, Talking Hank, and Talking Pierre) and 15 apps within the Talking Tom and Friends umbrella brand. Since June 2010 the apps have achieved more than 3 billion downloads.

Talking Tom
Talking Tom is the lead character in the Talking Tom and Friends franchise. Tom is a wisecracking, adventure-seeking anthropomorphic cat, described as the "world’s most popular cat."
Talking Tom is a fully animated interactive 3D character that users can tickle, poke and play with in the apps. Users can also get Tom to repeat what they say. The original Talking Tom Cat app was launched in July 2010 for iOS, closely followed by Talking Tom 2 in 2011.
The My Talking Tom app was launched in November 2013. This interactive app sees users raise their very own Tom from a kitten to a fully-grown tomcat, caring for him and customizing his fur, clothes and home. The Cat Came Back
"The Cat Came Back" (which, as the image on the right of the original 1893 publication demonstrates, was not originally published as "The Cat Came Back: A Nigger Absurdity"; that apparently came later, in a 1900 London edition) is a comic song written by Harry S. Miller in 1893. The original sheet music described the song as "A Comic Negro Absurdity" on the back page and provided an additional eight verses as well as a final chorus. "The Cat Came Back" has since entered the folk tradition and been recorded under variations of the title—"But the Cat Came Back", "And the Cat Came Back", etc. It is also a popular children's song.
The song is humorous in nature, telling a silly tale about "ole Mister Johnson" who had an "ole yaller cat" that he did not want, and when he tried to get rid of the cat, the cat kept coming back:

The Learning Station
The Learning Station is an educational children's musical group, comprising the husband-and-wife team Don and Laurie Monopoli, and their friend Jan Hrkach.
Don Monopoli founded the group in Connecticut before moving to Melbourne, Florida in the late 1980s. At that time, Hrkach, who also partnered with Monopoli in a Brevard County recording studio, joined the group. The group has released multiple albums, and performed across the US. Group member Laurie Monopoli has an early childhood education degree, and develops the educational content of their concerts and recordings.

Plot: In the city of Los Angeles, millions of lives intersect everyday, but each individual is still isolated from the whole. Old Mr. Johnson had some troubles of his own.
He had a yellow cat which wouldn't leave his home.
He tried and tried to give the cat away.
