Lord Jamar (born Lorenzo Dechalus, September 17, 1968) is an American rapper and actor. He was a member of the hip-hop group Brand Nubian, which formed in 1989
As an actor, he is best known for his role of Supreme Allah on the TV series Oz. He has appeared on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Third Watch, and The Sopranos. He has also done production work for artists such as Dead Prez, Buckshot, Shaka Amazulu The 7th and Tom Browne. He released his debut solo album The 5% Album (an album dedicated to the Nation of Gods and Earths) on June 27, 2006. Like his onscreen character on Oz, Jamar is a member of the Nation of Gods and Earths.
Lord Jamar garnered controversy after releasing a track on February 4, 2013 titled "Lift Up Your Skirt," which was characterized by some in the media as homophobic. He has disputed the characterization, tweeting "I went to a GAY WEDDING of a good friend not long ago so I doubt I'm homophobic" in response to allegations of homophobia in other tweets.
Aaron Tyler (born May 22, 1967), better known by his stage name MC Eiht, is an American hip hop recording artist from Compton, California. Many of his songs are based on his life in Compton. His stage name was partly inspired by the numeral in KRS-One's name. He chose Eiht for its links to "hood culture", including Olde English 800 (8 Ball) and .38 caliber firearms. He is the de facto leader of West Coast hip hop group Compton's Most Wanted, which also included fellow Compton-based rappers Boom Bam, Tha Chill, DJ Mike T, DJ Slip and Ant Capone. He is also known for his role in the 1993 film Menace II Society.
Tyler grew to fame on the West Coast as one of two MCs in the four-man crew, Compton's Most Wanted. After enjoying increasing success with the group, which peaked with 1992's Music to Driveby, Eiht took a role in the hit movie Menace II Society as well as a high-profile spot on the soundtrack. The song, "Streiht Up Menace," which chronicles the unfortunate downturn of the film's protagonist within the pathological conditions of American inner city life, is considered by many critics to be Eiht's magnum opus. The movie spurred him into a solo career, although his next two albums We Come Strapped and Death Threatz would be accredited as MC Eiht featuring Compton's Most Wanted. These albums were considered his best and took place during the most tense years of the 'beef' between Eiht and DJ Quik, Eiht's childhood friends Boom Bam and Tha Chill of N.O.T.R were heavily involved with both albums and the Quik beef, there are several explicit remarks towards Quik made on these albums by E, Bam and Chill. E was also associated with W 159th St Tragniew Park Compton Crips.

Chris Carroll, the first Vegas officer to appear on the scene the night that 2Pac was shot dead sat down with DJ Vlad to speak about the details of the evening. He begins his story explaining why he became a cop and revealed what happened during the melee, the interactions between Suge and Pac -- as the Death Row honcho seemed more worried for Pac's safety more than the gunshot wound in his own head. Officer Carroll doubles down on the assertion that Pac told him, "F--k you," as he lay dying in the street. The former cop goes on to explain why Suge couldn't have logically planned to have Pac killed, and how the rumor that he a "white cop, armed" actually killed the late rapper. Watch the full clip above.
Successful real estate guru Jay Morrison sat down with VladTV, where he explained how he left a life of dealing drugs in the streets to becoming successful in real estate. He revealed that it was at the age of 25 that he realized that the streets weren't panning out the way he planned, so he decided to go try his hand in real estate, which he was introduced to after doing a stint in jail. Moving along, Jay spoke about linking up with Jay Z's good friend Emory Jones, starting a record label, and Emory telling him to chase after real estate. Chicago rapper Edai sat down with DJ Vlad for an exclusive interview detailing the infamous murder case his younger brother Cdai and associate RondoNumbaNine were convicted for. He discusses how it felt to see his younger brother behind bars and how he donated 30K to the cause as he tries any and everything to help out. He also discusses Tay 600's fake paperwork but claims to have seen the actual documents where Tay was listed as an informant. Edai does not care that Tay did not take the stand, he stands firmly behind seeing the paperwork. Watch above.
Lord Jamar was put in the hot seat after DJ Vlad asked him about saying he is a "culture vulture" in a recent interview, which Vlad said was surprising given their friendship. The Brand Nubian rapper explained that there are levels of being a culture vulture, and added that he believes DJ Vlad is a "culture vulture with a conscience." Lord Jamar went on to explain why he also puts legendary music executive Steve Rifkin in the same category, which you can hear more about in the above clip.
Lavell Crawford has a diverse roster of comedy heroes. Here, he talks about what qualities make a comedian "great": according to Crawford, it's the ability to make someone laugh so hard they can't breathe. He cites Bernie Mac, Martin Lawrence, Dave Chappelle, Richard Pryor, Ellen Degeneres, Rodney Dangerfield, and more as comedians he personally looks up to. He also gives Vlad his thesis on Chris Rock: that he's a great, but that his material too "manicured." "Once you get fame, it takes away from it," Lavell says. Watch above.

How I've loved you and will always love you
You were the one to light the stars in my night
Why can't one of such beauty live forever
Hear my soul scream its plight
You were the gift of joy
You were my light
You gave so much to life
My angel of the night
Oh hear me call you, I'll always call for you
Though you are no longer here
May my voice be carried to your spectral ears
