The Isley Brothers have enjoyed a long and distinguished career from the early fifties to the present day. They have enjoyed considerable chart success and huge album sales on both sides of the Atlantic and remain a major live draw. Their music has evolved to encompass a variety of styles from gritty R & B through Motown soul and on to blistering funk, all of which they have delivered with fine musicianship and considerable style.
The concert on this DVD was filmed in America in spring 2005 and captures the band in excellent form led by Ron Isley's smooth vocals and Ernie Isley's hard edged guitar leads.

The Isley Brothers (/ˈaɪzliː/) are an American musical group originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, originally a vocal trio consisting of brothers O'Kelly Isley, Jr., Rudolph Isley and Ronald Isley. The group has been cited as having enjoyed one of the "longest, most influential, and most diverse careers in the pantheon of popular music".
Alongside a fourth brother, Vernon, the group originally performed gospel music until Vernon's death a few years after its original formation. After moving to the New York City area in the late 1950s, the group had modest chart successes during their early years, first coming to prominence in 1959 with their fourth single, "Shout", written by the three brothers. Initially a modest charted single, the song eventually sold over a million copies. Afterwards the group recorded modestly successful works for a variety of labels, including the top 20 single, "Twist and Shout" and the Motown single, "This Old Heart of Mine (Is Weak for You)" before recording and issuing the Grammy Award-winning hit, "It's Your Thing" on their own label, T-Neck Records.

Summer Breeze (TV series)
Summer Breeze was a single episode pilot which originally aired in 1987 on the NBC television network.
Summer Breeze centered on the life of newlyweds Michael and Eve Wainwright. The couple were high school sweethearts finding married life difficult when an old flame went out of his way to make their life miserable in an effort to win the love of Eve, whom he had had a crush on for many years.

Summer Breeze (rock festival)
Summer Breeze is a rock festival, originally planned to be held annually in Seoul, South Korea for two days of early August. The inaugural festival was scheduled to take place at Seoul Olympic Stadium in Jamshil, South Korea in 2008. The festival was modeled after other urban music festivals such as Summersonic Festival of Japan, Lolapalooza of the United States, and Rock Am Ring of Germany. Summer Breeze covered various genres of music, but mainly focused on rock music. Summer Breeze Festival 2008 was cancelled due to low ticket sales.

The Isley Brothers (/ˈaɪzliː/) are an American musical group originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, originally a vocal trio consisting of brothers O'Kelly Isley, Jr., Rudolph Isley and Ronald Isley. The group has been cited as having enjoyed one of the "longest, most influential, and most diverse careers in the pantheon of popular music".
Alongside a fourth brother, Vernon, the group originally performed gospel music until Vernon's death a few years after its original formation.
