Lakshmi Narayan

Lakshmi Narayan or Lakshmi-Narayana (Sanskrit: लक्ष्मी-नारायण, IAST: Lakṣmīnārāyaṇa), also sometimes spelled Lakshminarayan, Lakshminarayana, Laxminarayana, is a manifestation of Vishnu in the Hindu religion. It is usually referring to Vishnu, also known as Narayan, when he is with his consort, Lakshmi, in his abode, Vaikuntha. Lakshmi is depicted as standing next to a dark-skinned Vishnu, who is holding a conch, mace, lotus and the Sudarshana Chakra. Another depiction of Lakshminarayan portrays Lakshmi in the service of Narayan, who is reclining on the cosmic serpent Sesha, floating in Kshīrsagār, the Ocean of Milk.

Interpretations

The deity Lakshminarayan has many historic roots and is sometimes interpreted by different traditions as for example Jayadeva, in his Gitagovinda, dealt with esoteric pastimes of Krishna with Radha, and identified Radha with Kamala, Lakshmi who appeared from the lotus who is regarded as the goddess of Love, Beauty, and Prosperity. the consort of Narayana. Early life

Born on 3 April 1965 and brought up in Srisailam, Andhra pradesh. family, where his father was an Irrigation officer.He did his Bachelor of Engineering at the NIT Warangal. He did his MTech from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. He was an Inspector General, Maharashtra cadre from the 1990 batch of Indian Police Service and Topper in 1990 Civil services exam.

R. P. Patnaik

Ravindra Prasad Patnaik is a South Indian music composer with about 60 films to his credits in three south Indian languages (Telugu, Tamil and Kannada). He won 3 Filmfare Awards & 3 Nandi Awards.

Patnaik had entered the film industry with a desire to become a film director, and began first as a music director. It was after cinematographer-turned-director Teja gave him a break, that Patnaik made his directorial debut with the 2008 film Andamaina Manasulo. As of March 2013 he was finishing his fourth Telugu language film Thulasidhalam.

Career

Patnaik received the Filmfare Award three times consecutively for the films Nuvvu Nenu, Santosham and Excuse Me, and apart from receiving the Andhra Pradesh state Nandi Award for the film Nuvvu Nenu in 2001, he has won awards from different cultural organisations in and outside the state and country for his music.

His first ever live show for the public gathered about 600,000 people along the Vizag sea shore on 20 July 2002. Since then he has performed in The US, UK, Dubai, Kuwait, Singapore, Delhi, Chennai and every part of Andhra Pradesh. Some of his albums like Jayam have sold about 2.5 million units (CDs and Cassettes) just in one regional state.

Lakshmi

Lakshmi (Sanskrit:लक्ष्मी, lakṣmī, ˈləkʂmiː) is the Hindu goddess of wealth, fortune, and prosperity (both material and spiritual). She is the wife and active energy of Lord Vishnu. Her four hands represent the four goals of human life considered important to the Hindu way of life – dharma, kāma, artha, and moksha. Representations of Lakshmi are also found in Jain monuments. In Buddhist sects of Tibet, Nepal, and southeast Asia, goddess Vasudhara mirrors the characteristics and attributes of the Hindu goddess Lakshmi with minor iconographic differences.

Lakshmi is also called Sri or Thirumagal because she is endowed with six auspicious and divine strength even to Vishnu. When Vishnu descended on the Earth as the avatars Rama and Krishna, Lakshmi descended as his respective consorts: Sita (Rama's wife) and Rukmini (Krishna's wife). In the ancient scriptures of India, all women are declared to be embodiments of Lakshmi. The marriage and relationship between Lakshmi and Vishnu as wife and husband, states Patricia Monaghan, is "the paradigm for rituals and ceremonies for the bride and groom in Hindu weddings."
