Jeff Horn has welcomed a World Boxing Organisation review that has concluded he was the true victor of his welterweight title fight against Manny Pacquiao.
The 29-year-old Australian said it was "super timing" as he prepared to board a flight to the United States, where he is set to meet some of the biggest critics of his contentious points win over Pacquiao at the ESPY Awards on Wednesday night in Los Angeles.

"It gives me evidence behind me that I can just use now. Instead of saying I think I won the fight, now a heap of other people - professionally - think I won the fight," Horn told reporters at Brisbane Airport on Tuesday morning.
The WBO re-scored the fight after a call by a Filipino government department to review the 'Battle of Brisbane' on July 2, won by Horn by unanimous decision in an upset.
Five anonymous judges reviewed the fight, determining Horn won the first, second, fourth, sixth, seventh, 10th and 12th rounds, while others were scored in favour of Pacquiao.
In a statement released from Puerto Rico, the WBO said that Horn won seven rounds to Pacquiao's five.
"The Jeff Horn vs. Manny Pacquiao bout results were controversial causing disputes amongst fans. For this reason, transparency is so important," said the WBO.
"Based on this, five (5) anonymous, competent Judges from different countries were asked to watch the bout without sound.
"Then, the independent results were tabulated to ascertain clearly the rounds each fighter won using an average scale based on 60, 80 and 100 per cent. To determine the winner of each round, 3 out of the 5 officials have to be in agreement.
The statement went on to read: "Based on this analysis, Jeff Horn was the winner of the bout."
The original fight was scored 117-111, 115-113 and 115-113 by judges Waleksa Roldan, Chris Flores and Ramon Cerdan respectively, with Roldan coming in for particularly scathing criticism over her scorecard.
Manny Pacquiao's Australian strength and conditioning coach slammed the judges last week calling them "crazy", saying the unanimous decision should have gone their way.
"The referee was sketchy, the judges were crazy," Fortune told reporters.
"Manny lost the fight, but Jeff Horn looks like a pumpkin. Those scores, that card? It should be the other way around.
"You can make as many excuses as you'd like - it was a shitty referee, shitty judging. But that's boxing.
"You get given a gift sometimes, you get screwed sometimes. But when you come to someone's house you're supposed to mess them up ... never leave it in the judges' hands."
According to CompuBox statistics, Horn landed just 92 punches to Pacquaio's 182, but some rounds were tight and difficult to score.
ESPN analyst Teddy Atlas was incensed by the decision and said he thought there was no way that Pacquiao lost the fight.
