Octavo tema de la maqueta de Baghira: "Diggin in the crates for classics".
"Diggin in the crates for Classics" es el nuevo trabajo de Baghira, un homenaje al rap en general. Un proyecto que daría para muchísimos volúmenes pero se ha escogido al mayor número posible de artistas que representen parte de la base de este género sin ánimo de excluir a nadie, ya que todos, de forma implícita van homenajeados en el mismo. Por otro lado se ha utilizado una gran cantidad de samples, la mayoría muy usados por artistas en los noventa y que se samplean aquí con la misma intención, la de formar parte de esta macedonia musical, de este collage con aire a los noventa. Ejemplos como Diana Ross, Bob James, Les Mccann, etc. Como colofón se realizaron dos tracks inéditos para este trabajo, a cargo de Trafik (con colaboración de Dj Rune en los scratches) y Nach (con Dj Zide en los scratches) con el ánimo de seguir abarcando homenajes/agradecimientos para "Diggin in the crates for Classics".

The fourteenth and final track off my album Rawg's Record, that came out in June '09. I'm playing all instruments here: guitar, drums, bass. I wrote this when I was 16 and finally got a chance to record it for the album last year. I pretty much tried to define "epic" with this song. It's got like different movements and stuff and I tried to structure it like a classical symphonic work. It's one of my favorites. Hope y'all like it, enjoy.

Chad Lamont Butler (December 29, 1973 – December 4, 2007), better known by his stage name Pimp C, was an American hip hop recording artist and producer. He was best known for his work with Bun B as a founding member of the Underground Kingz (UGK).
Music career
UGK
Butler formed the rap group Underground Kingz (colloquially known as UGK) with best friend Bernard "Bun B" Freeman in 1987 in Port Arthur, Texas. In 1991, Jive Records signed UGK and released Too Hard to Swallow, followed by the critically acclaimed Super Tight. The group's third album, Ridin' Dirty, reached #2 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, and their momentum was continued with features on the popular singles "Big Pimpin'" with Jay-Z and "Sippin' on Some Syrup" by Three 6 Mafia. UGK's fourth album, Dirty Money, was distributed in 2001. Due to Butler's incarceration in 2002, UGK would not release another studio album until 2007's Underground Kingz, which included the hit "International Player's Anthem (I Choose You)", featuring Outkast.

The fourteenth and final track off my album Rawg's Record, that came out in June '09. I'm playing all instruments here: guitar, drums, bass. I wrote this when I was 16 and finally got a chance to record it for the album last year. I pretty much tried to define "epic" with this song. It's got like different movements and stuff and I tried to structure it like a classical symphonic work. It's one of my favorites. Hope y'all like it, enjoy.
