John Donald Fiedler (February 3, 1925 – June 25, 2005) was an American voice actor and character actor who was slight, balding, and bespectacled, with a distinctive, high-pitched voice. His career lasted more than 55 years in stage, film, television and radio. He is best known for four roles: the nervous Juror #2 in 12 Angry Men; the voice of Piglet in Disney's Winnie-the-Pooh productions; Vinnie, the meek poker player in the film version of Neil Simon's The Odd Couple; and Mr. Peterson, the hen-pecked milquetoast on The Bob Newhart Show.
Fiedler was born in Platteville, Wisconsin, a son of Donald Fiedler, a beer salesman, and his wife Margaret (née Phelan). He was of German and Irish descent.
His family moved to Shorewood, Wisconsin in 1930, where he graduated from Shorewood High School in 1943. He enlisted in the United States Navy and served until the end of World War II.
After his discharge from the Navy, Fiedler began acting in New York City, appearing on the radio comedy The Aldrich Family as Homer Brown. He appeared on early television and played Cadet Alfie Higgins on the 1950s show Tom Corbett, Space Cadet, and he made his film debut in 1957 in 12 Angry Men, as Juror #2. Most of his roles were playing gentle or nervous individuals, though he appeared as the lawyer J. Noble Daggett in True Grit (1969 film) and in the original Star Trek episode "Wolf in the Fold" as Mr. Hengist, a Chief Administrator possessed by the spirit of Jack the Ripper.

With Nerve (starring Emma Roberts and Dave Franco) opening today, I take a look at a similar movie featuring another all-night game played across a city - Midnight Madness. Starring David Naughton and Michael J. Fox - along with Eddie Deezen, Paul Reubens, John Fiedler, Debra Clinger, and more - this movie will always be a guilty pleasure for me. It's one of my favorite bad movies. Please support the Michael J. John Fiedler, the undercover detective who wore the wire that lead to Dan Gilbert's arrest, wants Ohio voters to have all the facts. He wants them to know about he physical threats made to victims who could not pay . He wants them to know about the ledger book that kept track of the bets. He wants you to hear the whole story.

For more than half a century, Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops Orchestra were joined in a musical union that, through concerts, recordings, radio broadcasts and television programs, brought untold musical pleasure to millions of Americans. If one event could be said to sum up the grandfatherly, white-haired conductor's extraordinary popular appeal, it may have been the Bicentennial concert that he led on the Fourth of July in 1976, on Boston's Esplanade. An estimated 400,000 cheering Fiedler admirers crammed themselves into the outdoor area for a free program of patriotic tunes, in what was probably the largest gathering for a musical event in the nation's history. Mr. Fiedler, who projected a jolly, unsnobbish image, had his finger on the pulse of Mr. and Mrs. Middle America. He seeme...

In this session, Scott Bessler and John Fiedler from RelateIQ explain how they achieved a whole new dev environment using Docker in production. In addition to this video, you can find a couple interesting posts about Docker on RelateIQ's blog.
Read the full blog post here - https://www.heavybit.com/library/blog... Docker seems like a fundamentally better abstraction for packaging and deploying applications in a persistent way across multiple environments. Among individual developers and ops engineers it’s praised, but at a recent Docker in Production meetup held at Heavybit, engineers from Iron.io, ClusterHQ, RelateIQ and Docker discussed the realities of running Docker in Production — namely what does and doesn’t work. He seeme...

Oh my d-d-d-dear
You sing a piggy song to me
When your love spread out my pouch.
It doesn't matter to me
You indicate love
You think love's true to me.
You need love
You need heart
You need love
You need heart
All you need is courage
I grow berries for you
To basically eat, not poison
Directly you.
We need to love
We need to trust
We make love strong
This is bacony
Producing from the farm to harvest.
You need love
You need heart
You need love
You need heart
Oh dear
Oh dear
Oh dear
Oh dear
You need love
You need heart
You need love
