Every great show needs an even better after party and the Mad Hatter's Tea Party is no exception.
Playing at The Playhouse from July 12-15, this immersive circus-meets-cabaret experience aims to bring the joy of the variety show to tiny theatre-goers.
And it will be kicked off, and wrapped up, by the tiniest of DJs. Perfect timing for the school holidays.
Three-year-old Indigo Reeve, from here on known as DJ GoGo, is down to play some sets on Wednesday July 12, from noon for those leaving the 11am performance, and on Saturday July 15, at 1.30pm for those arriving early for the 2pm show.
DJ Gogo, whose father Benjamin is a DJ, has always been interested in music and dance.
"I'd take her with me when I'd go and look for records and she would look with me, flicking through the records," Reeve says.
"She'd play around on the turntable and really enjoy it so we just let her go for it."
DJ GoGo picks her own tracks, and even does a bit of "scratching" over the top of some of them.
"I go to mix a track and she'll say no, I don't like it, she's really into her trade," Reeve said.
While the Tea Party gig has a disco theme, DJ Gogo is quite into jazz and hip hop beats.
"Although the other day she started belting out Bonnie Tyler's Holding Out for a Hero," says her mother Skye.
"We had no idea where that one came from until we discovered a My Little Pony clip on Youtube that used it."
Reeve is ready to step in and mix the tracks for the disco party if DJ GoGo is a little distracted on the day.
"You have to remember she's three, sometimes her attention span is a little short, but she's really looking forward to it."
Reeve will be putting DJ GoGo's mix from the performance online after the show.
