1. Evolution Is Making Women Hotter
From Ancient Egyptian ruler Cleopatra to reality TV personality Kim Kardashian, women just seem to be growing more and more beautiful with time – and scientists predict an even greater surge in numbers of women based on evolution. Research reveals that attractive women are 16% more likely to have more children as compared to their less attractive counterparts. A 2006 study found that good-looking parents were more likely to have daughters, and it is argued that this is an evolutionary tactic - programmed into our DNA – that is meant to help each sex survive. Women inheriting physical attractiveness over generations means that on average, women will be more attractive than men.
2. Women Are Scientifically Better At Multitasking
In case you’ve been wondering about women’s natural capacity to handle multiple tasks at a go, science have got you covered. Scientists ran tests on the brains of 949 men and women to map the interconnections between different parts of the brain. The results showed that women have a much stronger connection between the left and right sides of their brains, while men have stronger connections between the front and the back of the brain. What does that say about women and multitasking? These different interconnections make women better at multitasking and men better at single, more complex tasks.
3. Women Have A Better Sense Of Smell
Scientists have been trying to solve the puzzle of women overshadowing their male counterparts in smell-related testing. Research conducted in Brazil examining brains from seven men and 11 women who are recently deceased revealed that on average, women have 43 percent more cells than men in their olfactory bulbs in their brain. Olfactory bulbs are responsible for control of the sense of smell. Researchers also point to the fact that the increased sense of smell in women is naturally linked to experiences and emotions making this smell superiority cognitive rather than perceptual. During pregnancy, women are said to experience an increased sense of smell owing to their pregnancy hormones.
4. Women Can Have Multiple “Os”
Most men are biologically incapable of continuous climaxing without an adequate rest period. According to scientific discovery, a chemical compound called oxytocin is released into the body which causes a five to thirty-minute recovery period in most young healthy males. Not so with women who can go on to experience consecutive climaxes without requiring a recovery period. Women’s body do not produce the oxytocin chemical and so their bodies can continue to perform at an optimum level and result in multiple “Os”.
5. Women Have A Better Understanding of Emotions
According to a 2009 study commissioned by the University of Montreal, Olivier Collignon found that amongst 23 men and 23 women asked to identify emotions of actors using sometimes contradictory stimuli (i.e. a voice that showed fear but a facial expression marking disgust), women were quicker in their responses and better able to distinguish the emotions more accurately. The study also determined that the female participants responded more quickly when the actor was female. Therefore, women possess a higher aptitude for understanding expressions and emotions than men. Collignon also adds that other factors besides biology play a major role in the study, “These studies should not rule out the fact that culture and socialization do play a powerful role in determining gender differences in the processing of emotional expressions.”

मंधाना ने अपने वनडे कॅरियर का दूसरा शतक उड़ाया. उनके अलावा कप्तान मिताली राज ने 46 रन की अहम पारी खेली. इन दोनों ने तीसरे विकेट के लिए 108 रनों की साझेदारी की. यह साझेदारी तब शुरू हुई जब भारत ने 33 रनों पर ही अपने दो विकेट खो दिए थे.
भारतीय टीम का खाता भी नहीं खुला था कि पूनम राउत पवेलियन लौट गई थीं. उनके बाद विंडीज की कप्तान स्टेफेनी टेलर ने दीप्ति शर्मा (16) को बोल्ड कर भारत को दूसरा झटका दिया. 141 के कुल स्कोर पर मिताली जब अर्धशतक से चार रन दूर थीं तभी हायेले मैथ्यूज ने उन्हें पवेलियन भेज दिया. इसके बाद स्मृति को मोना मेश्राम (नाबाद 18) का साथ मिला और दोनों ने मिलकर टीम को जीत दिला दी.
मंधाना ने विजयी चौका मारा. इससे पहले, विंडीज टीम भारतीय गेंदबाजों की कसी हुई गेंदबाजी के सामने खुलकर नहीं खेल पाई. एक समय लग रहा था कि विंडीज जल्द ही ऑल आउट हो जाएगी, लेकिन एफे फ्लैचर (नाबाद 36) और अनिसा मोहम्मद (नाबाद 11) ने टीम को 50 ओवरों से पहले ढेर होने से बचा लिया.
भारतीय की ओर से पूनम यादव सबसे सफल गेंदबाज रहीं. उन्होंने 10 ओवर में दो मेडन के साथ 19 रन देकर दो विकेट हासिल किए. दीप्ति शर्मा ने 10 ओवर में एक मेडन के साथ 27 रन देकर दो विकेट लिए. हरमनप्रीत कौर को भी दो सफलताएं मिलीं. वेस्टइंडीज की सिर्फ पांच बल्लेबाज ही दहाई के अंक तक पहुंच सकीं.

Woman
A woman is a female human. The term woman is usually reserved for an adult, with the term girl being the usual term for a female child or adolescent. Mann or monn had a gender-neutral meaning of "human", corresponding to Modern English "person" or "someone"; however, subsequent to the Norman Conquest, man began to be used more in reference to "male human", and by the late 13th century had begun to eclipse usage of the older term wēr. The medial labial consonants f and m in wīfmann coalesced into the modern form "woman", while the initial element, which meant "female", underwent semantic narrowing to the sense of a married woman ("wife"). It is a popular misconception that the term "woman" is etymologically connected with "womb", which is from a separate Old English word, wambe meaning "stomach" (of male or female; modern German retains the colloquial term "Wampe" from Middle High German for "potbelly"). Nevertheless, such a false derivation of "woman" has appeared in print.

Cinema of Nigeria
The cinema of Nigeria, often referred to as Nollywood, consists of films produced in Nigeria; its history dates back to as early as the late 19th century and into the colonial era in early 1900s. The history and development of the Nigerian motion picture industry is sometimes generally classified in four main eras: the Colonial era, Golden Age, Video film era and the emerging New Nigerian cinema.
Film as a medium first arrived Nigeria in the late 19th century, in the form of peephole viewing of motion picture devices. These were soon replaced in early 20th century with improved motion picture exhibition devices, with the first set of films screened at the Glover Memorial Hall in Lagos from 12 to 22 August 1903. The earliest feature film made in Nigeria is the 1926's Palaver produced by Geoffrey Barkas; the film was also the first film ever to feature Nigerian actors in a speaking role As at 1954, mobile cinema vans played to atleast 3.5 million people in Nigeria, and films being produced by the Nigerian Film Unit were screened for free at the 44 available cinemas. The first film entirely copyrighted to the Nigerian Film unit is Fincho (1957) by Sam Zebba; which is also the first Nigerian film to be shot in colour.

Nigerians

There have been several major historical states in Nigeria that have influenced Nigerian society via their strong kings and their advanced legal and taxation systems, and the use of religion to legitimize the power of the king and to unite the people. Northern Nigeria has been culturally influenced by Islamic influence including several major historic Islamic states in the region. The Kanem-Bornu Empire and the Sokoto Caliphate were major historical Islamic states in northern Nigeria. Southern Nigeria historically held several powerful states, including the Benin Empire and Oyo Empire, Ife Empire and several other Yoruba states.

Women Have A Better Understanding of Emotions According to a 2009 study commissioned by the University of Montreal, Olivier Collignon found that amongst 23 men and 23 women asked to identify emotions of actors using sometimes contradictory stimuli (i.e. a voice that showed fear but a facial expression marking disgust), women were quicker in their responses and better able to distinguish the emotions more accurately. The study also determined that the female participants responded more quickly when the actor was female. Therefore, women possess a higher aptitude for understanding expressions and emotions than men. Men and women come in different sizes, races, complexions and ability but they are able to complement each other in spite of their many contradictions. For women, their uniqueness lies in their rare ability to understand emotional expressions, juggle multiple tasks at will among other things. Today, we will dive into 5 Things Women Can Do That Men Can’t and set women apart from men and elevate them to goddesses in their own right. So lets begin!
1. Evolution Is Making Women Hotter
From Ancient Egyptian ruler Cleopatra to reality TV personality Kim Kardashian, women just seem to be growing more and more beautiful with time – and scientists predict an even greater surge in numbers of women based on evolution. Research reveals that attractive women are 16% more likely to have more children as compared to their less attractive counterparts. A 2006 study found that good-looking parents were more likely to have daughters, and it is argued that this is an evolutionary tactic - programmed into our DNA – that is meant to help each sex survive. Women inheriting physical attractiveness over generations means that on average, women will be more attractive than men.
2. Women Are Scientifically Better At Multitasking
In case you’ve been wondering about women’s natural capacity to handle multiple tasks at a go, science have got you covered. Scientists ran tests on the brains of 949 men and women to map the interconnections between different parts of the brain. The results showed that women have a much stronger connection between the left and right sides of their brains, while men have stronger connections between the front and the back of the brain. What does that say about women and multitasking? These different interconnections make women better at multitasking and men better at single, more complex tasks.
3. Women Have A Better Sense Of Smell
Scientists have been trying to solve the puzzle of women overshadowing their male counterparts in smell-related testing. Research conducted in Brazil examining brains from seven men and 11 women who are recently deceased revealed that on average, women have 43 percent more cells than men in their olfactory bulbs in their brain. Olfactory bulbs are responsible for control of the sense of smell. Researchers also point to the fact that the increased sense of smell in women is naturally linked to experiences and emotions making this smell superiority cognitive rather than perceptual. During pregnancy, women are said to experience an increased sense of smell owing to their pregnancy hormones.
4. Women Can Have Multiple “Os”
Most men are biologically incapable of continuous climaxing without an adequate rest period. According to scientific discovery, a chemical compound called oxytocin is released into the body which causes a five to thirty-minute recovery period in most young healthy males. Not so with women who can go on to experience consecutive climaxes without requiring a recovery period. Women’s body do not produce the oxytocin chemical and so their bodies can continue to perform at an optimum level and result in multiple “Os”.
5. Women Have A Better Understanding of Emotions
According to a 2009 study commissioned by the University of Montreal, Olivier Collignon found that amongst 23 men and 23 women asked to identify emotions of actors using sometimes contradictory stimuli (i.e. a voice that showed fear but a facial expression marking disgust), women were quicker in their responses and better able to distinguish the emotions more accurately. The study also determined that the female participants responded more quickly when the actor was female. Therefore, women possess a higher aptitude for understanding expressions and emotions than men. Collignon also adds that other factors besides biology play a major role in the study, “These studies should not rule out the fact that culture and socialization do play a powerful role in determining gender differences in the processing of emotional expressions.”

सलामी बल्लेबाज स्मृति मंधाना के नाबाद शतक (106) के बूते भारत ने आईसीसी महिला क्रिकेट वर्ल्ड कप में वेस्ट इंडीज को सात विकेट से रौंद दिया. इस प्रतियोगिता में भारत की यह लगातार दूसरी जीत है. 183 रनों के लक्ष्य को भारतीय टीम ने तीन विकेट गंवाकर 42.3 में ही हासिल कर लिया.
मंधाना ने अपने वनडे कॅरियर का दूसरा शतक उड़ाया. उनके अलावा कप्तान मिताली राज ने 46 रन की अहम पारी खेली. इन दोनों ने तीसरे विकेट के लिए 108 रनों की साझेदारी की. यह साझेदारी तब शुरू हुई जब भारत ने 33 रनों पर ही अपने दो विकेट खो दिए थे.
भारतीय टीम का खाता भी नहीं खुला था कि पूनम राउत पवेलियन लौट गई थीं. उनके बाद विंडीज की कप्तान स्टेफेनी टेलर ने दीप्ति शर्मा (16) को बोल्ड कर भारत को दूसरा झटका दिया. 141 के कुल स्कोर पर मिताली जब अर्धशतक से चार रन दूर थीं तभी हायेले मैथ्यूज ने उन्हें पवेलियन भेज दिया. इसके बाद स्मृति को मोना मेश्राम (नाबाद 18) का साथ मिला और दोनों ने मिलकर टीम को जीत दिला दी.
मंधाना ने विजयी चौका मारा. इससे पहले, विंडीज टीम भारतीय गेंदबाजों की कसी हुई गेंदबाजी के सामने खुलकर नहीं खेल पाई. एक समय लग रहा था कि विंडीज जल्द ही ऑल आउट हो जाएगी, लेकिन एफे फ्लैचर (नाबाद 36) और अनिसा मोहम्मद (नाबाद 11) ने टीम को 50 ओवरों से पहले ढेर होने से बचा लिया.
भारतीय की ओर से पूनम यादव सबसे सफल गेंदबाज रहीं. उन्होंने 10 ओवर में दो मेडन के साथ 19 रन देकर दो विकेट हासिल किए. दीप्ति शर्मा ने 10 ओवर में एक मेडन के साथ 27 रन देकर दो विकेट लिए. हरमनप्रीत कौर को भी दो सफलताएं मिलीं. वेस्टइंडीज की सिर्फ पांच बल्लेबाज ही दहाई के अंक तक पहुंच सकीं.

Five directors of Peppers Club in DLF 1 were booked on Sunday for endangering lives of their customers, a day after police had withdrawn its no-objection certificate after receiving complaints of criminal activity ...
