The Walther CCP was another surprising pistol for us. At the trade show I was I was a bit ambivalent. After shooting it I'm a fan. With trademark perfect grip, the CCP is slightly bigger than a subcompact. This size makes it easier to shoot. If you're having a hard time hitting with your current carry pistol, try the Walther CCP and I bet your scores go up. It has an excellent trigger but the reset is slightly forward. The gas blowback tap off system allows for a light recoil spring [good for women shooters]. Firepower, accuracy, cold wx testing, and much more are shown on this excellent carry pistol choice. The CCP should be more popular.

I always have two carry guns, full size and a compact. For months I've tried to love the Glock 43 but just can't get there. The Walther CCP came on the scene but I was apprehensive about it given it's complex disassembly method and unproven design (for Walther, not HK). The CCP borrows heavily from the HK P7 but did Walther get it right? Check out this Walther CCP review.

First off, Pardon the hiccup at the end of the video with the blank caption. I was unable to correct this.
This pistol is extremely underrated and deserves more credit than it is currently receiving. the reviews of this pistol are either mediocre or just don't have the effect of explaining the characteristics of this pistols uniqueness to those who may be interested in it for what it is. This pistol and the technology it brings to the table is way better than the reviews have stated. the advantages this pistol gives to the shooter, no matter who they may be, is so great that no one should not give this pistol an honest and fair look.

I attempted to get more information but got nowhere besides some friendly emails ensuring me that there was no cost involved to me and that the recall was voluntary but recommended.
So, here's part 1. Part 2 will be when we get the gun back and we'll what, if anything, is obviously different - for better or worse.

Walther CCP
The Walther CCP (Concealed Carry Pistol) is a semi-automatic pistol developed by the German company Carl Walther GmbH Sportwaffen of Ulm for the civilian shooting market as a defense weapon. It is available in 9×19mm Parabellum chambering.
Product evolution
The Walther CCP was introduced in March 2014.
Design details
The Walther CCP is operated by a gas-delayed blowback system, using gas pressure from the ignited cartridge by directing it through a small port in the barrel in front of the chamber to slow down and delay the rearward motion of the slide. This design is nearly identical to the design of the Heckler & Koch P7. Walther calls this system Softcoil. Unlike the Walther P99 or Walther PPQ the CCP has a slim manual thumb safety. There is an additional internal safety that acts as a firing pin block. The ergonomic grip is a shorter version of the PPQ's grip. The capacity of the magazine is 8 rounds. The CCP has an overall length of 6.41 inches, its width is 1.18 inches and its height is 5.1 inches. The length of the barrel is 3.54 inches.

Walther CCP Review- Nutnfancy
The Walther CCP was another surprising pistol for us. At the trade show I was I was a bit ambivalent. After shooting it I'm a fan. With trademark perfect grip, the CCP is slightly bigger than a subcompact. This size makes it easier to shoot. If you're having a hard time hitting with your current carry pistol, try the Walther CCP and I bet your scores go up. It has an excellent trigger but the reset is slightly forward. The gas blowback tap off system allows for a light recoil spring [good for women shooters]. Firepower, accuracy, cold wx testing, and much more are shown on this excellent carry pistol choice. First off, Pardon the hiccup at the end of the video with the blank caption. I was unable to correct this. This pistol is extremely underrated and deserves more credit than it is currently receiving. the reviews of this pistol are either mediocre or just don't have the effect of explaining the characteristics of this pistols uniqueness to those who may be interested in it for what it is. This pistol and the technology it brings to the table is way better than the reviews have stated. the advantages this pistol gives to the shooter, no matter who they may be, is so great that no one should not give this pistol an honest and fair look.
