Milena Agus

Milena Agus (born 1955) is a Sardinian author. She is one of the leading novelists in the so-called Sardinian Literary Spring which began in the 1980s and which includes other international names such as Michela Murgia.

Biography

Milena Agus was born in Genova to Sardinian parents. She lives and works in Cagliari, where previously she taught Italian and History at the Meucci Technical Institute. She then moved to teaching at the creative school in Cagliari called Fois Fois. She is a practitioner of the 'New Sardinian Literature'.

Her first novel, While the Shark is Sleeping (Nottetempo, 2005) had two reprints within as many months, but it was Mal di Pietre (From the Land of the Moon in English) which brought her to the attention of a wide audience. Translated into five languages, it was a bestseller in France, where it rose to international fame. Mal di Pietra won the Strega prize, the Campiello prize, and the Stresa di Narrativa prize.

Agustín García Íñiguez (born 3 May 1985), commonly known as Agus, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for American club Houston Dynamo mainly as a central defender.

Football career

Agus was born in Bonete, Province of Albacete. After appearing in seven La Liga games for eventually relegated Albacete Balompié in the 2004–05 season, he was bought by Real Madrid for €600.000 and immediately sent to its B-team.

As Castilla were relegated from the second division in 2006–07, Agus, alongside coach Míchel's son Adrián, were loaned to another club in that category, Celta de Vigo, with very different individual fates. The former returned to Real's reserves for the 2008–09 campaign: even though the side remained unbeaten until matchday 14, it eventually did not return to the second level.

In the subsequent summer Agus signed for three years with Córdoba CF, with his previous club holding 50% of his rights. In the following years, safe for one season in the Turkish Süper Lig with Orduspor, he continued competing in his country's division two, representing AD Alcorcón, RCD Mallorca and Albacete.

Bethesda system

The Bethesda system (TBS) is a system for reporting cervical or vaginal cytologic diagnoses, used for reporting Pap smear results. It was introduced in 1988, and revised in 1991 and 2001. The name comes from the location (Bethesda, Maryland) of the conference that established the system.

Low grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (LSIL or LGSIL) indicates possible cervical dysplasia. LSIL usually indicates mild dysplasia (CIN 1), more than likely caused by a human papillomavirus infection. It is usually diagnosed following a Pap smear.
