On the 12th of August, in Charlottesville, VA, after the “Unite the Right” rally was successfully smashed by the antifascist public, an Alt-right coward carried out an act of terrorism. He deliberately crashed his car into a crowd of antifascists, killing one and injuring dozens of people.
As a small act of solidarity with our comrades in the USA, we decided to destroy a large mural created by local fascists in the center of Belgrade, Serbia, depicting the Alt-right “mascot” Pepe the Frog.

Kao minimalni čin solidarnosti sa našim saborcima u Americi uništili smo veliki mural fašističkog „Alt-right“ pokreta u Beogradu, na kojem je prikazan žabac Pepe, ikona ovih anticivilizacijskih nasilnika.

Our sorrow is the seed of our rage
A car driven by a racist on Saturday evening in Charlottesville, stole Industrial Workers of the World/IWW member Heather Hey...er’s life and wounded many. As the people of the city stood up against the racist threats and organized solidarity showed a strong response, this attack targeted an anti-racist rally and the struggle for freedom in general. The state which stood with its law enforcement just watching during the attack, declared state of emergency to put more pressure on the struggle.
We are not foreign to racist attacks, nor to state of emergency, as the state in our geography has been running a state of emergency for more than a year. We stand in solidarity with all comrades in the struggle against racism in Charlottesville, and against state constructed violence in general. We share your sorrow.
Our sorrow is the seed of our rage.
"Unfortunately, tragedy has struck again in our community in Indonesia. Our friend Anzi Matta was in a motorcycle accident on Wednesday 26 July. Her left arm is severely broken in several places and she desperately needs surgery to repair it. The estimated cost is about 20 million rupiah, approximately $1,500 USD. That is a year’s salary or more here. She needs this surgery urgently and as quickly as possible to save her arm. She will also require physical therapy to regain m...obility. We are fundraising here as well, but we need all the help we can get.
Anzi is not only an activist, but also a writer, artist, and illustrator. She has written several articles for national and local news outlets on various community issues such as LGBTQ solidarity, and helped co-found the Bukan di Dapur (Not in the Kitchen) collective in 2015, a project concerning food sustainability and gender issues. From her close friends to homeless strangers on the street, Anzi always shares whatever she has. She has also contributed to many projects like providing books for community libraries and prisoners and helping small independent publishers. Her current collective project is to make a public kitchen to feed the homeless community in Yogyakarta.
